This belongs in the hidden gem of SF category. Armando does clean cuts and he has a friendly demeanor, so theres no need to go anywhere else. This is somewhere you can always depend on a great result & a equally great price. *Recommended*

Fraudulent and potentially blind barber.Two days ago I requested a quote for a haircut and was told $20. Armando charged me $32 after the cut today. Also Ive never seen my back hairline more crooked, he had not shown it with a mirror when I paid.The photo was taken by another barber I went to fix Armandos blind haircut.Updated 2/5/2019:I walked in and asked how much was a haircut to which he responded $25.

Ive been seeing Armando for about twenty years. I keep going back for his haircuts because when I leave I always feel beautiful. I tell him this every month when I get my haircut. Its a running gag with us and still we laugh every month. Ill be repeating this again in a few days. I think he gives great haircuts, as my repeat buisness attests. Armando works closely with his neighboring shop Lulas. I ended up having a haircut with her. Its a cute little shop, very endearing experience. The cut was good and so was the price. Ill probably go again.

It was an experience you will most definitely pay for! My partner went there to get his head shaved to a number 1 all over (it was already short, probably a number 3 or so at the time) whilst I grabbed coffee but the shave took more than 45 minutes (so I just sat down waiting). Also when it came time to pay, it cost $35 but he made it so awkward about getting change when we gave him $40 that we just said keep the change as he made no attempt to get change and stood there expecting us to leave. Very nice gentleman though some what of a rip off merchant.

He lined my hairline back into the middle of my scalp and then had the nerve to charge me $25 for this line up. DON’T EVER COME HERE!!! I look ridiculous.

You must ask him how much it will cost to cut your hair before he starts or he will kill you at the price even though he does not do a good jobI recommend you if you want to cut your hair here go to another place or cut your hair for yourself
