Dishonest mechanics! They replaced parts that were not related to the problem of my car! Rip off and dishonest!

SUPER Dishonest mechanics with the courage to rip off me who knew nothing about cars. Gave false information and replaced cheap brakes and changed incorrect oil on my Lexus! Car overheated within 30 minutes driving on the highway with a loud screeching sound from my tires. I am considering filing a complaint with the BAR! Stay away from these crooks!!!!

This place is a complete rip off and scam! I brought in my 2015 Acura TLX in because my starter would not work. The owner said to leave the vehicle here for a couple of hours to let him diagnose the problem. I came back 2 hours later and he said it would cost $1,300.00 to replace the starter and a $120.00 fee to check the vehicle. Are you serious? $120.00 to check the vehicle and $1,300.00 to replace the starter?! NO WAY am I letting you touch my vehicle! I brought it in to another auto repair place at a couple blocks away near the hill and they charge only $950.00 to replace the entire starter!! ALSO! BEWARE! I FOUND A SCRATCH ON THE PASSENGER DOOR WHEN I CAME BACK TO PICK UP MY VEHICLE. THE MILEAGE ON THE CAR EVEN RAN AN EXTRA 3 MILES! HOW INTERESTING... I DROPPED OFF MY CAR FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS AND IT WENT 3 EXTRA MILES! WOW. THEY USED MY CAR TO GO ON THEIR PERSONAL ERRANDS!! BEWARE OF THIS AUTO REPAIR SHOP! NOT ONLY ARE THEY NOT HONEST BUT THEY SCREW AROUND WITH YOUR VEHICLE TOO! DO NOT GO TO PACIFIC AUTO CARE! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM AND A RIP OFF!

They lied to me and they scammed me! I brought in my vehicle for an oil change and and brake service. Leo the owner said it will cost $500.00 to replace the brakes and $120.00 for the oil change. I asked them for full synthetic oil and good brakes because I am about to go to LA.2 hours later, Leo called me and told me that they also replaced my spark plugs, cabin air filter and recharged my AC. THEY REPLACED THEM WITHOUT MY PERMISSION AND DID NOT EVEN BOTHER CALLING ME!Funny thing is I went to another mechanic last month and they told me that everything was fine with my vehicle. I only brought it to Pacific because my vehicle was telling me to do an oil change and to change the brakes and the other mechanic I went to was closed for today.Spark plugs was $250.00, cabin air filter was $120.00, AC recharge was $130.00, Oil change was $120.00 and my brakes costed $500.00.I was on the freeway heading to LA when all of a sudden I heard loud noises and scratchings. I rushed and brought my vehicle to the nearest auto repair place and gave them $40.00 to check out the problem. I even also asked them to check the work that Pacific did just to make sure they were telling the truth.1) The mechanic I am currently at said that my brake pads were half changed. 2 sides was changed and 2 was not. The other one was at 40% left and the other side was new. Are you serious? I paid $500.00 and they scammed me out of my hard earned money!2) Oil change? They put in synthetic oil and NOT FULL SYNTHETIC. My car requires FULL SYNTHETIC! They ripped me off! Regular Synthetic oil would have hurt my engine! Plus, Regular Synthetic oil was cheaper. 50% cheaper. Wow.. They ripped me off.3) Remember how Pacific said they changed my Spark plugs? They didnt.. Remember how they also said they changed my Cabin air filter? Nope. They did however recharged my AC. The mechanic told me the AC Recharge does not cost $130.00. I just got scammed for work Pacific didnt do.4) I would have been in danger if I kept driving on the road. It could have been worse. I could have gotten into an accident!Pacific is a scam and fraud! I am not letting them touch my vehicle EVER again and I advise the community to do the same!I am reporting them to BAR for fraud! STAY AWAY FROM PACIFIC!! Youve been warned!!!!

Pacific Auto Care is one heck of dangerous place to go to for your vehicle. I brought in my vehicle for an oil change and brake service. The oil change costed around $100.00 and the brake service was around $520.00. Picked up my car in 2 hours and left. After leaving, I was driving on the freeway and can hear scratching noises and couldnt stop my vehicle properly. Mind you that I was on the freeway too! I got off the freeway and drove to the nearest auto repair shop to see what was going on. The mechanic I went to at Palo Alto told me that the guy at Pacific did not tighten my brakes correctly! The mechanic also told me that the brakes were not fully changed and was adjusted. He also told me that the guy at Pacific put on brakes that were for the wrong model car and that the guy at Pacific adjusted the brakes to make them fit! The mechanic at Palo Alto also checked my oil change to make sure it was full synthetic oil. Pacific put in the regular oil and charged me $100.00!!! I will never ever be going to Pacific again and I will be sure to file a complaint against them for deception service!

Brought my Acura car for an oil change. Moments late after they finished the oil change, my car started to overheat after I left Pacific. I brought my car to another garage and they informed me that Pacific used the wrong oil which can lead my engine to fail and caused my car OVER HEATING!! You will not see me back at this scam place again!!! Too bad I cant put no stars because THEY DONT DESERVE IT!!!
