In the past, Ive often have my car serviced at a mechanic shop but Ive been coming to SF of Toyota for years and they always provide great service. These guys are awesome. I have never had an issue with them and theyre pretty quick in terms of turnaround time.
I brought my Ford F-150 in for a water pump a few months ago and Paul and Victor took great care of me. Victor called me daily to give me updates. They were honest and fair that’s really all anyone can ask for. I went back for a AC issue, oil change and rear breaks. Same great service. I will continue to give them my business.

These crooks wanted >$200 just to diagnose an issue, in addition to charging a premium for any services they provide. Took it to an independent shop with more reasonable prices who was happy to spend 10 minutes diagnosing the issue for free. Dont see a point in ever coming back.
Oil changes and tire repairs are done quickly and professionally. On top of that customer service is very good. Will be coming back for more car related problems!

They found my electric short that was causing various types of lights to come on the dashboard along with systems malfunctions.
Toyota and reliability go hand in hand but customer service is basically left in the hands of local dealerships and maintenance centers. Fortunately for for the bay area, the Van Ness Maintenance center exceptionally exceeds all marks on customer service and care.I was having issues with inconsistent but horrible sounding noise on my FR-S. Once I booked an appointment and dropped off my vehicle I was greeted by Moe S.Moe is a very patient, understanding, and cooperative person. I did not feel at all rushed and he listened to my concerns while also outlining any possibilities and steps that would be taken. Moe kept me up to date with the progress of my vehicle and his team showed genuine care regarding my safety and satisfaction. All my concerns were put to rest as Moe reassured me that any issues that would be discovered will be repaired. A few day later my FR-S was repaired and back with zero issues, Moe even had it detailed for me upon return.Furthermore, Moe assisted me with adding accessories to my FR-S. I did not at all feel as if I was wasting his time and he expressed interest and enthusiasm with my ideas in customizing my FR-S.I was blown away by the service, quality, and care displayed by Moe and the Van Ness maintenance center team and will gladly recommend family and friends in this direction for future maintenance and repairs.

The San Francisco Toyota Service Center on Van Ness is conveniently located, Clean, and the service is quick and friendly! I will continue to have my car serviced there as my experiences have always been good ones. Highly recommended for all SF Bay Area Toyota owners!

This was my first visit to the Van Ness location. Service was beyond expectations. The lower of two coupons was honored. I was also notified of two additional suggestions for repair. One was to replace a dirty cabin air filter which resides in an area behind the glove compartment and is inspected during minor services which I never knew. Since my glove compartment falls shut heavily rather than gradually, I mentioned the glove compartment hinge might have been broken during a previous service over the last few years when checking the cabin air filter. I was reassured that removal wouldnt have caused the breakage but because I had never been told that that was the way the cabin air filter was checked, I was not charged for the new filter. I thought this was a generous example of good will. Before I was about to drive off, I also asked for a new light bulb in the cabin to replace a dimming one. That was installed at no charge. There was a bit of difficulty removing the plastic in the roof to get to the bulb and was handled in a respectful, calm, personable manner. All the Toyota employees I dealt with were extremely patient, kind and helpful. This is a new location for the service center and is spacious and very clean and especially convenient to where I live in San Francisco. I will most definitely be returning for a major service next time.

I went for a check up and told them my tire was leaking. My tire had anail in it so they suggested I change all four (seemed excessive).Looking at the bill they stilled charged me for rotating the tires and it took 3 weeks of my calling every two days (and them never calling me back) to be told I would get a $20 discount on my next check-up....That issue plus the fact that they took the entire day (8h00am -3h30pm) Ive decided I wouldnt go back.
Always friendly, helpful and attentive. Usually finish work before the time they say they will deliver and flexible on when I pick up. I always manage to connect with someone when I call or they call back the same day. Waiting room is very comfortable with beverages, wifi, TV and clean bathroom. Sadly they are closed on weekends. We come here all the time. Highly recommended.

Horrible service. The service center lost my visit and service records for the entire 2019. The people working here today is very impolite. When I mentioned that the computer showed record stopping in 2018, he said I was not there in 2019 because the computer system said so. They also said the computer system record is legal records and I don’t have evidence against it. Beware when you come, don’t rely their records and service.

Always busy. Moe never disappoints. He was between Van Ness and Geary locations, but he still had his colleague, David Chu, helped me. He made sure my wifes 2015 Toyota Sienna Limited is perfect. This is why we purchase all our vehicles from SF Toyota from William Lui and Service it with Moe or David. They are the best. Btw, they were very extremely busy that day and they were still able to accommodate us.
I have used this dealership ever since I bought my Toyota Prius from them in 2002. The service has been consistently great. The one time I did have a problem they resolved it quickly and to my satisfaction. They are fast and the prices are reasonable. Plus they have the parts needed.The new location has a nice waiting room. Except that I hate day time TV it is very comfortable and has free coffee and tea.

I was on a road trip in my 2019 Toyota Corolla hatchback with 1000 miles on the car. There was a loud tapping noise coming from the engine. So loud I could even hear it over the radio. Called a few Toyota dealers to see if someone could look at the car to tell me if the noises coming from my brand new car were dangerous. And I actually spent about 2 hours of my time specifically driving to this dealership. Once I get there the service writer is saying they would need to keep the car all day and he’s not even sure if someone could even look at it till Monday. Being that I was on a road trip. If I let the dealer keep my car three days that’s a big issue. They could not even get a tech to come look at my 1000 mile car for 30 seconds. I ended up taking it to another dealer in south san fransisco. And they got a tech to come and look. They looked at it for quite a while. They are saying my engine needs to be replaced on my 1000 mile corolla. They also said it was extremely irresponsible for the other dealer to let me drive that car out of that service department in San fransisco. They were a actually really shocked that this dealer let me leave. Even asking me about exactly what they said multiple times. Because if the engine would have failed with that knocking sound the front tires can lock up. Even on the freeway.These are pics from the other dealer once they found out how serious the issue was. But the service writer here would not even call anyone
Outstanding. Previously, we had been having our Toyota serviced in Oakland, where it was purchased. Unable to get a timely appointment there, we brought it to SF Toyota on Van Ness. Courtesy, effeciency, and service was so superior at SF Toyota that we are never going to return to Oakland! Great job by Manager David Chu and his team

First visit. Went in on a Wednesday. Bing and Jack (forgot who my tech was). An estimate was provided before and matched after. They addressed all my concerns and everything was done in 4 hours.Theyve earned my trust and will be going back.

I always go to the Toyota service which is on Geary Blvd. But today I do not know why, I decided to check Toyota service which is on 1608 Van Ness Ave. And that was my mistake. I spent all my day waiting for my vehicle done. It took 6 hours just for changing tires and oil change. Poor costumer service. If I can I would give 0 star. This is my first and last time here.

When I called with our report of a 2nd battery outage, Jonathan Chan answered the call and volunteered to come from the dealer about 15 minutes away to give our car a charge so we could get it to the shop. Then when it died again on the way, he circled back and gave it another jump which lasted until I could get it there.Then service manager David Chu handled the diagnosis and fix overnight so we had the car back the next day.Jonathan Chan certainly deserves kudos for his personal handling of our problem, which I have to say has tried our patience with the new Prius wagon.
