Been here a year now. The management team and maintenance crew are amazing. If you have a maintenance request, they are on top of it right away. Alia and April are great at listening to their residents concerns. The atmosphere here is beautiful and the location is great, especially if you love trees like me. The shopping centers are just a bike ride away. If youre looking for a family-type environment, theres a lot of children of all ages, which has been great for my little girl. Its also pretty quiet as well, which is a hard combination to find at an apartment complex. I am about to move due to personal reasons, but I still wanted to share with a public what a great experience my daughter and I have had here. I definitely recommend Mountain View Apartments.
I have been living here for almost 2 years and I can say without a doubt that this is the best community ive ever lived in. When management changed last March/April, it felt like the community changed as well. The new staff is VERY attentive and compassionate. Even maintenance is so sweet and friendly. At first I didnt want to live in a community that isnt gated but Ive never felt safer in an apartment than I do living here.
Lived there for a year when I moved out to SoCal. In general, the apartment itself was pretty good, the staff was friendly and effective, and overall it was pretty pleasant living there. But its a pretty boring place to live, and since my apartment was next to the pool Id constantly hear the sounds of families having parties. Mountain View was a bad fit for me as a single guy who just recently finished college and was moving across the country, but I can imagine its a good fit for plenty of other folks.
Since i moved into this community staff and help has always been helpful and professional. All requests satisfied and virtually zero negatives. Thanks Alia and April.:)
Rented a 2 bedroom and 2 bath unit with three other girls during our last year of college. Our overall stay was okay. The only reason Im rating this a one star was because my moving process was a disaster and the property management team was not helpful and downright unprofessional. They charged us extra days for staying past our lease but the fact was we had all turned in our key and we had already cut electrical services to our unit. They then claimed we never returned all the keys to them but in reality they had misplaced it but later found it. I had to take multiple trips to the office to dispute the extra day charges. The assistant property manager then, was just not helpful and lagged on everything. I had to always email them for a response back. Then it took them altogether 6 months after our move out date to finally clear out all the charges and give our security deposit but that was only because we wrote them a letter to take them to small claims court. And now, when I think Ive finally cut off all ties from this apartment and its management, I get a call from a debt collector company stating that I have a charged amount from Mountain View. But when I contacted Mountain View, they say my balance is $0 and that I dont own them anything. They say that the debt collector doesnt have the updated info.Like what even?!? How do you not communicate such an important info and its already been a year since I moved out.Overall, my moving out process was a mess and stressful. The management team was just downright unprofessional with no communications skills whatsoever.Save yourself the trouble and go to a different place.
My experience here for the past 12 years were on and off. Im referring to the management and rent-a-cops, who clear all residents that are swimming by 10:00pm. The security guards here have been very rude, and show no sign of respect to the residents here at Mountain View Apartments. The majority of these security guards are very young, with little to no experience with securing the area, let alone have good people skills. so what do you expect. These young men and women act like their real officers who are on the force protecting lives. But really there just liabilities. I know sheriffs and police officers with better people skills, then these bunch at Mountain view apartments. There is also a security guard that locks up the pool who is very rude and disrespectful to the people that live here, he goes by Mr. Gonzalez
Been living here for almost 6 months, and have really enjoyed it. All maintenance work has been addressed in a timely manner and the maintenance people are friendly and have great service. Grounds are kept clean, I always see them driving around picking up other peoples trash that may have been left behind. Nicely landscaped grounds, and the pool is nice too.
My boyfriend, daughter, sister and niece moved into 3 bedroom a few weeks ago and we love it! The management staff is very friendly and genuinely care when we have a concern. Maintenance is very quick (most of the time same day) & efficient. Ive seen a lot of complaints about parking which amazes me because there are SO many available parking spots. It has not been an issue at all. Overall we are very satisfied. Only negative is tenants are required to pay water and trash...most apartment complexes do not charge for this.
I have been here for three years and now have dealt with three new management groups. They switch owners and every time its for the worse!! Slow maintenance and office is rarely open in the hours specified. Need emergency help? NO ANSWER. I have been asking for help with the AC for over a week in 93 degree weather in the apartment!!! I have pets that can overheat! Ive had to take them to a friends until management responds! Horrible place! I am moving next month!!
This place sucks! For all the students, especially International students, Please dont live here! They Scam you by connect with the towing company! As long as you have a expired tag, they ll call the tow company to tow your car immediately without notification! Even you park at your parking spot! They do not care if you are resident or not! They share money with the towing company! They know that most international students gonna go back to their country for the summer and some of their tags might expire! So please make sure your tag will not be expired during the summer! They will call towing company to tow your car cuz they know that you are not here and the tow company gonna sell your car on the public auction! So after you come back from your country, your car has already been sold!
Roaches!! Management doesnt follow through on issues, especially issues pertaining to pests in your unit. Dont move to Mountain View Apartments, the people that live there are great..but the grounds are always dirty, there is dog poop everywhere, and did I mention the ROACHES!! There are so many other apartment complexes in the area..choose another place besides Mountain View.
Currently living at Mountain View Apartments currently, and here are some things to consider if you are moving in.1. Lack of Parking Spaces. The complex only assigns one space per apartment. I live with a roommate, and it has been a struggle to find parking even when arriving 8:30pm latest. I called the office and they suggested I parked on the street, but there is an extra cost which we had not foreseen.2. Trash and sewer charge. I have lived in many apartment complexes and this is the first place to charge for this. I dont know how I missed that they were charging for that. Besides, maybe my own paranoia, but I would be concerned about getting hit by another car overnight.3. Street noise (applies only to apartments by the street). I came to see the apartment during the day, and I did not realize that cars run all night and the noise really carries through the walls. Unless you find it an annoyance sleeping with earplugs every night, this may not be a problem for you. I did call the office and inquired about thicker windows, but they said that the complex would not invest in that. That I was the only one who seemed bother by this.
The apartments are pretty nice. But the people that work at this complex make it an uncomfortable place to live. They seemed helpful at first but after the fake presentation wore off it only got worse. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Its not a terrible place to live but they truly do not care about there residents and that made me feel uneasy. I paid their required termination fee of $1500 plus one months rent to leave early
Avoid at ALL costs! The price makes it appealing but you will be sorry. My husband and I had a 1 bedroom on the first floor. At first, everything looks really appealing, we were able to have our cat and dog (limit 2 pets with deposit) and it went all down hill over 2 years time. From nobody answering the phone, thin walls that allow you to REALLY know your neighbors, non-existent maintenance crew, 30% increase for month-month, they tow your car to perform painting or yard work without a prior notice to allow you to vacate, staff has been replaced over several times in 2yrs, not secured or fenced so you get a lot of dumpster divers, average car break in is 3 a month that they wont make publically known to residents, and more...my husband was unable to get back our security deposit due to repairs we did not cause! Only to find they billed us to renovate and upgrade! We are still fighting them in court and I implore you, avoid this complex and anyone affiliated with it!
My daughter and her family have lived at MountainView Apartments in San Dimas for the past 3 years. They are currently living in an upstairs unit that is across from a disaster zone. A young woman and her 3 children moved in 5 months ago and ever since then it has been ridiculous. Not only do the childrens grandparents live there, there are also a number of adults that have recently moved in. Mind you this is a 2 bed/2 bath apartment and obviously they are not all on the lease. They scream and yell constantly at the children so much so that CPS was called out. They all smoke on the adjoining entrance and have been told not to but they refuse to do that. The manager, Nicole has refused to do anything about it. I was told by Nicole that I could call the Police and maybe they could! The apartment complex has gone downhill in the past couple years. It is outdated and falling apart and obviously the management company, Alliance, wants to put NO MONEY into making any upgrades. The rent is ridiculous also considering the amenities. The place is a JOKE!
We moved in this apartment on 2015 and moved out by December 2017.The leasing office manager Sarah was so nice and she took good care of the residents living there. But we had the worst experience in our life when th new leasing manager Racheal came in.If anyone is moving their please ensure you take a screen shot of all the items in the apartment or else they are goin to charge u for every single thing they have in that apartment....
This is a really great place to be. The neighborhood is beautiful and close to old town!
The management was barely helpful and their background process, which allowed anyone to rent, was hard. I had several Sheriffs beat on my door early in the AM because my neighbors were dealing/doing drugs and they thought it might be us.
We Moved in on December 17th and Absolutely loving the Property. The Manager Sarah and Aryanna are Great Compared to our old Property. If you have a problem with Maintenance send an email and they get here before their day ends. Watching for all the Different types of Birds make it do Peaceful. Ive seen an Owl within the First Couple of Days living here. Now I see the Hawks and Crows driving them Crazy.Youll have to come and see the property yourself. Yes I did read Reviews before moving in they were scary reading. But after Visiting it all seemed like lies. Now Im living here and glad we checked them out. GREAT JOB MOINTAIN VIEW APARRMENTS.
I just moved in and on moving day i saw a plumbing van. didnt think twice about it. and my second night here my bathroom backed up i am on the main floor it back up into my tub.. so i called maintance they said it would be an hour before they got here i told them to hurry its backing up fast anyways they fixed it and two days later it did it again..I see the plumbing van once a week here .. they have a lot of plumbing issues..The air condition works a little they said its cold air but really its cool air it really doesnt get cold . it doesnt work well.. we are able to have pets here and the grounds smell bad from the dogs when the sun hits the grass watch out yuck smell ... you also share your water bill with other people. so this place is over priced for what you get..
They should add dumb bells and more equipment in their gym
I moved here while my husband is deployed for the year. alone with my three children, i moved right next door to a disaster (my neighbor a signal mother) that has had many violations with management and law. for instances like her wrecked broken down unregistered car sitting for a year when clearly management has been telling her its a violation. not to mention her violent behaviors.. i have a police report and restraining order on her and management looks the other way! after repeated attemets to get help from them drug deals going on in the pool area by people that dont even live here and some much more! i have had it! I EVEN HEARD IF I COMPLAIN AGIAN THAT THEY ARE GOING TO EVICT ME WOW! DONT MOVE HERE IF YOUR A FAMILY! SHAME ON YOU ALLIANCE!
Nice amenities and friendly manager.
This is an unsafe apartment, my packages have been stolen for many times. I am so disappointed. If you move out the apartment, you need pay a bill for cleaning.
This place has changed since tons of trouble renters moved out. It is quite again like it was when my family moved in a year ago. Still most people here do not follow the lease rules. Management needs to inforce them
