I worked with Don in sales and he was not only extremely knowledgeable when it came to asking the right questions but I found that it was by far the most efficient and stress-free experience in all the remodeling that we did to our new house. Im so very grateful to have stumbled into this gem of a business.

Enrique did an excellent job with installation, he cleaned everything up afterwards and was very careful not to nick or scuff walls baseboards. Very professional!

Stephen (manager) and Mario (assistant manager) were so accommodating and easy to work with. We were buying a townhouse and wanted to have new carpet ready to install the day after closing. Sid’s had a great selection and the best pricing in San Diego. We found exactly what we wanted after some very helpful advice from Mario. We chose two carpets, one for stairs to the garage and one for the bedrooms and stairs to the upper floors, which arrived earlier than expected and was installed exactly when we wanted. It was a very laborious installation considering our new home is a four level townhouse with lots of steps and landings, but the installers didn’t bat an eye at the job and were extremely attentive to detail. So happy!!!

I bought a carpet from them to be installed by my own installer. A friendly salesperson, Giohanie, told me the carpet would be ready for pick up 9am the next day. At 9:30am I got a call from my installer saying that the carpet wasnt ready for pick up and not only that, the person he was dealing with; the manager, didnt know what carpet I had purchased. I asked to talk to the manager and to my surprise the manager said my order had been mistakenly shredded so he didnt have any information to go by, and also he needed my credit card number. At 10:30am my installer called me again, telling me that he had already wasted so much time waiting for the manager to figure out which carpet I had purchased and now the manager told him he would have to wait for the cutter to arrive to cut the carpet. I complaint to the manager for wasting everybodys time and that they shouldnt have told me the carpet would be ready at 9am if they didnt have anyone to cut the carpet. He said he would cut the carpet himself. To make a long story short, the manager miscut the carpet and when my installer rolled the carpet it was shorter than what I had ordered and paid for .... (check the pictures).

Good guys, just tell them your budget and come prepared with your ideas.

If you cannot find the carpet you want at Sids Carpet Barn it probably doesnt exist. They have a fabulous selection, the most courteous staff, and bend over backward to make sure you find exactly what you are looking for.I love the carpet I purchased there. It is just perfect.

We had the most amazing experience at Sid’s. Our sale person Samson was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. We made multiple trips to the store, changed our minds numerous times and Samson was always helpful, always full of suggestions and great ideas. Sid’s Carpet Barn was very helpful over the phone sending pictures of their suggestion based on a quick chat and they were available for our project on a very quick turn around. The carpet looked as described and was installed professionally and also very quickly. We will be returning to Sid’s for future carpet needs.

I have had dealings with Sid Carpets for many years for all our properties when the lady was in place. She was efficient and above all, very honest, Since her transfer, the sales service is a minus. Inefficient and guilty of terminological inexactitudes. So sad.

5 Stars for Sids Carpet. We recently purchased carpet for living room and a beautiful custom rug for our Family Entertainment area. The staff at Sids Carpet was superb in helping us to select the best products for both of these areas. Our carpet and rug were delivered exactly as promised, on time, and by a very professional installation crew. The installation of the carpet went perfectly and the installers paid precise attention to the care and details of our home. My wife and I could not be more pleased with the entire purchase at Sids Carpet. We will be using them again, as we re-carpet the balance of our home.

Ive purchased carpeting from Sids several times over the past 15 years. The fact that they have been in business for 15 years should speak volumes. I find their sales staff helpful, not pushy. And the timing of installation of the carpeting is fairly quick. My only concern is promptly receiving a final invoice (but hey, I shouldnt have to complain about not having to pay right away) and one minor issue when moving the furniture out of one room (a scape on the wall … the installer says that it was there previously, I didnt think so, but it was not significant so I let it go).Overall, I have been pleased with the experience each time.

SIDS carpet barn were incredibly helpful, we kept changing our mind, asked for 20-30 samples, and kept moving the install date. Despite this they were attentive, friendly and did an amazing job on the install. They cleaned up, vacuumed the carpet, and were very friendly. Very impressed!

Sids has some very fine carpeting indeed! The quality is higher than most of the competition and you dont get the high pressure sales, a welcome surprise. They offer a vast selection, from very expensive to reasonably priced but all of high quality.

Sid’s installed carpet throughout my home. One stair has been problematic for 5 years. The carpet keeps detaching and exposing nails. This is a hazard. I’ve had it repaired and it continues to detach. Sids will not repair nor address the problem. They say they guarantee work for one year. In my case, the problem was not fixed initially and still gives me trouble. I spent over 10k on carpet and this is upsetting. Stand by your workmanship.

Sids gave me the idea of which material to select for my nee home. They carry so many options and was able to help us select the right one. They are also very knowledgeable about the product and helpful with no pressure sales. I appreciate their service and support.

Recently had our carpet in the downstairs bedroom replaced by SIDS Carpet Barn. Salesman Mario was very helpful and courteous and responsive to our needs the carpet we selected was professionally installed in a very short period of time Sids re-measured per square footage and save us on that. All in all our carpet replacement experience could not have been better

We went into this place to by 2 yards of carpet. We found one we liked and asked how much it was. The woman sat there typing into her calculator for over five minutes then gave us a written estimate of $1211. It was insanity and we left.
