I have bought tires from Edies Tire Shop on 2 separate occasions. Each time I was given a different price. First time it was 80 dollars a tire. The second the service guy tried to charged me $100 each tire but I had the receipt from my last visit so I was charged 85. This last time I went to get tires, the price was 110 each tire. Like GTFOH with that BS.

This place is at a corner. I pulled in on the side street side to see if I could get an alignment and somebody shouted for me to pull around to the front side of the shop. Once I did, another guy complained about me pulling in on that side and asked who told me to park there as if I would know the name of the other employee who originally directed me to move my car there. I just backed out my car and left. Somebody had referred me to go there but I couldnt make it past step one (parking my car).

They dont have a huge selection but their price and on demand style service makes this place worth visiting.A great place to go if youre looking to have cheap tires thrown on. This place is locally owned and looks shady but they do sell tires at an excellent price.They pretty much forced me to pay cash by saying their card machine wasnt working (complete bullshit). I strongly suggest you bring cash to avoid a confrontation about payment methods.

Edies has been taking care of all my vehicles for nearly 10years. Yes it looks like a hole in the wall. There is no waiting area. But the service is great, personalized attention, Especially for warranty work. I go in ahead of time, discuss my needs or concerns about my tires, wheels, etc. Then when Im ready drive up toss em the keys and they call me when its ready. I go pick it up when Im ready. Ideal.

Edies tire shop saves the day! I popped in here on a Sunday morning after not being able to get air into the tire on our Mercedes Sprinter. Brand new tires and gas station air nozzle would not work. They said there might be an incompatibility... But it did work for a different tire. Anyway no matter what I did I could not get that nozzle on to that tire. After trying I even let out about 10 psi. We were getting ready to go on a road trip so this now constitutes an emergency... Google to the rescue! Nearest place I can find was Edies tire shop. I pulled up the guy was working on another vehicle I told him what was going on he grabbed his air hose and promptly top off all the tires no problem! He said no charge but I tipped him anyway because he did save the day. If youre ever in Northpark and need something for your tires this is a legit shop.

Edies is the best. Honest, communicate well, low cost, and most of all only fix what is needed. I will only use Edies for all our families car service. I was quoted $1305 to replace the air conditioner compressor and Edies did it for $580.

These guys replaced 3 of my old tires with used in 20 minutes and for an actually affordable price! I had them recommended by a friend at work and Im so glad I decided to go here. They actually told me not to replace one, when I was ready to do all four. Personally, I always end up running over nails so getting absolutely new tires seems silly.

Was a very easy and fast tire change. I had to change my tires before driving to work. I bought two used front tires for my truck and was out of there in 20 minutes. Very reasonable price. I will go back to get an alignment when I have a little more time.

I came to get an alignment. I was quoted as price. Then was told I needed to pay more to fix an second issue. I said no thanks Ill just take it to the last guy who messed up the car on the first place the day prior. I was then told that I still had to pay because he took the time to prep the car for the alignment even though he did do anything yet. I told him I wasnt going to pay him for a job that he didnt even start. I will never come back. I would never recommend this place.

This place looks like a hole in the wall but the service is really good. I called them ahead of time and let them know I was coming. The guy quoted me $50 for an alignment and tire rotation and I made sure to get his name. When I arrived I asked for him and he knew exactly what to do. Make sure you get the persons name that quoted you the price otherwise when you get there you might talk to someone else and they might quote you full price. For example it would have cost $60 for alignment+$15 for tire rotation but I got it for $50 total because I called ahead of time.Only down side is there is no waiting area just some benches outside. I went and got a soda from the market across the street and came back and they were pretty much done.

Called, said they didnt have my tire size in a used one. called back, asked if they had any new ones in my size.. and they did, and they were honest enough to say that actually did find a used one too. only 40 bucks to put it on, only took like ten minutes. they were nice.

Edies has been servicing everyone of my vehicles (Ive gone through a lot) since 2007. I wont go anywhere else.

Serving San Diego with honesty and integrity since 1989 is what their website announces! My experience here certainly did not meet that slogan they have.If you need used tires, there are some good shops around. Especially the place next to this place is amazing (see reviews by searching tires shops on the maps).Coming to the reasoning behind the 1 star is that this place almost locked me up in their small office while overcharging me as part of dishonest business practices. I was quoted $70.00 (over the phone) for 2 used (but still intact) tires. One I walked in, the price was suddenly $80.00 out the door for two used tires. Pretty good deal you would say until I had to pay..:Once they sticked my card into the chip reader in a cramped( office?) room, the guy suddenly pushed in 3 digits in instead of 2; thats where I noticed that something did not seem quit right.My guts were right as the guy was nonchalantly charging me w/o the heads up an additional $20.00 for removing the locks?-WOW-It wouldve been ok if they told me that they would charge another $20.00 for doing that, but no communication about extra charge whatsoever. Are these prices posted anywhere? Not that I have seen..I strongly got the feeling that they were trying to overcharge me just for being foreign (from Europe) to them instead of a Hispanic person (which were just like the shop owners as well as the patrons present). I think they shouldnt pull such strings on people out of the blue and think that we wont care.Will not come back, as they stole my money without informing priorly. management practice. Most workers here are really friendly however and they are just doing their job.Furthermore, There is no seating or specific waiting area as well, so it made our whole experience a bit awkward by blocking constantly the workers way in the rain-ish weather.Oh well, next time the place next door. These guy simply will rip you off! The neighborhood is a rough one as well so imagine standing there on almost the sidewalk.....
