It was lovely. They squeeze me in for an appointment and it was my first time there. They Serve mimosas, wine, coffee, tea and water. Tera did my hair. She did an excellent job. I had dark brown hair and she achieved the hair color I wanted. I highly recommend this place and book for an appointment because they’re always booked.

I was so happy with my color. The stylist listened to my requests and delivered exactly what I asked for. The salon is clean and comfortable and the staff were all friendly. I already booked my next appointment!

Make sure to save the quote they give you or get it in writing. During the consultation I was told it would be $250 plus 20% off as a new customer and was charged $300 at the end of the appointment (and was made to feel bad for complaining about it). 😤

I have so much to say about this newly opened salon! Its eye catching while you drive by. Its eye catching when you walk up to the door and its definitely eye catching when youre actually inside! Its so beautiful, the interior decor is phenomenal and the large windows allow the natural light to infiltrate the entire salon!I went in to get a consultation first with Tori Lee, we agreed upon a hair color and I set up my appointment. I went in and the receptionist was kind and sweet and offered me a drink (Ladies and gents, they serve mimosas, flavored teas and coffee) Their chairs are super comfortable, and it was a relaxing experience all while getting my hair done.I went in for a vibrant color (purple hair) but they also offer any other hair service your heart desires.They also have a nail artist!Definitely recommend this newly opened Salon to anyone wanting a profesional hair stylist.

This place is awesome. I had my first color with lowlights done yesterday. Larry did a fantastic job I am super thrilled with his awesome work because my hair needed a refreshing look and Larry was able to make my hair beautiful.

I have been coming here for about a year now getting my hair colored. I have used almost everyone there and they ALL do an amazing job. I’ve never had a permanent place to get my hair done until now. Everyone there is super friendly and knows their stuff AND it’s affordable. I recently asked them to completely change what I normally get. I showed them a picture and it came out exactly the way I wanted it. Highly recommend them!

Larry and Ray are beyond amazing. The reviews are true, this exceptional place houses amazing talent and Larrys color gave me shining purple locks while Rays cut brought me into 2018 with light, manageable hair. My stylist Rylee moved over to ColorBar recently and I couldnt be more excited about this gorgeous salon! Its so bright and very personable!Rylee has been doing my hair for over 3 years now and I wouldnt even think about letting anyone else touch it. When I first came to her I had faded out box black hair! It was an absolute mess. After a few sessions she turned me into a gorgeous silver fox, and Ive been that way ever since! Its so good that I get compliments on my color whenever I leave the house.She also colors my clip-in extensions perfectly every single time. They match my hair so well that you cant even tell theyre extensions.She is very knowledgeable in her craft and will give you advice on how to keep your hair healthy and bright in between salon sessions.To sum it up: shes an absolute hair genius and I recommend her 100%! (especially for my gals that love fashion colors and silver/blonde babeness)

Tip: Get a group of friends together and reserve the private room so you can all get styled together. It makes the entire experience more fun.

Annalisa was great, as well as the other staff members. The vibe at the salon was very good, great energy from all the staff. I enjoyed talking to my stylist and swapping stories. Its been a while since I did anything to my hair but I searched for about 2 weeks looking for someone with experience but also accommodations. My hair color came out beautiful, and blended into my bayalage perfectly. I am very happy about the service I received and Annalisa was just absolutely pleasant. Thank you again!

Absolutely wonderful salon! The high quality of the staff and salon radiates throughout.Previously I had been to two other very high rated salons in San Diego and the experience was terrible. Whether is was the end result of the hair or simply the rude cliquey staff. I had a true 180 degree experience at this salon from my very first interaction with Liz. I found Liz via Instagram after searching for a blonde specialist is San Diego. She was so nice even in those initial IG exchanges that it was such a relief. When I finally met her in person for our consultation and then later for my appointment, her same personality shined through! If youve seen photos of her work you know it speaks for itself, but beyond her talent is that when you leave youll likely get a hug, not handshake, and leave feeling like youve made a friend! :) (Can you say rare salon experience circa 2019??)From the moment you walk in a member of the staff is there to greet you and make you feel comfortable. I could tell instantly who the owner was (Larry) by how he carried himself and was making sure each person in the salon was being taken of even if that meant checking in a client if the receptionist had stepped away (alleviating that awkward what do I do with my hands moment when you walk into a new salon).They have a space for your jacket, belongings, etc. and offer an assortment of beverages. I got hot tea, which they offered with sugar and even offered to reheat throughout the appointment! (Heart eyes). Now THAT level of service paired with their stylists talent is what makes you an (extremely well deserving) top salon in San Diego!Before and after below. Worst hair experience I’ve ever had by a hairdresser. I went in to dye my hair a lighting brown with lighter brown streaks. Specifically said NO blonde highlights. What does she do? Gives me blonde highlights and charges me almost $300! So now my hair is dried out still and i have to get my hair fixed again!

V expensive. They try to meet customers wishes but be sure to ask abt hair color especially semi permanent. They use a brand that is less than desirable. Changes with first wash : (
