Honesty is questionable. Waited over 2 hrs for driver. Dispatch said I wasn’t at car, not possible because I never left my car. Was treated like a second grade citizen. First driver wasn’t honest. 2nd driver was professional. Will not be using this company or make referrals with the company

If I could give zero stars I would. We called triple a because we were stuck on the side of the road, triple a gave us a forty minute window. This business did not call us until 9:50, they were supposed to arrive at 9:52, to tell us they couldn’t come to us and then proceeded to hang up the phone before I could ask any questions. I am furious at the absolute lack of professionalism. I understand delays, I work in customer service myself, I understand triple a takes a long time. But hanging up on a customer when you are supposed to be arriving at the destination? I am sorry but that is completely unprofessional and downright rude. I am furious. I don’t know who I spoke with but if you want good customer service don’t go here.

Unfortunately yesterday someone crashed my wifes car so the police called the tow truck service Angelo. It is necessary for me to make it clear how kind and understanding was the person in charge of driving the tow truck. In the same way, the lady who is at the counter of the store that they have on 26th south street. She gave me the opportunity to explain my problem to her and in a very friendly way and with a beautiful smile she helped me solve it. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and from now on they will be my first choice in terms of service

The service was friendly, professional, and quick. We were able to get an appointment for the same day and our vehicle made it safely to its destination. My car wouldn’t start and Dre came out and of course it started right away. He checked the battery, starter and alternator. All were good which made me feel a lot better. He was very knowledgeable and super sweet considering I felt stupid because it started as soon as he asked me to try. Anyway, I’d highly recommend them and especially Dre! AAA service for a flat tire was great. Wait time was average, about 45 minutes in Downtown San Diego. Fast service and knowledgeable technicians.

The service rep from Angelo’s was friendly, knowledgeable and so quick. He got to us over 1/2 an hour earlier than had been expected. He got us moving again with the problem solved in less than an hour from our first phone call. Saved our vacation.

I had locked my keys in my car at IKEA in San Diego. It’s a huge parking lot but the driver found me quickly and opened my car. I asked if he would mind loading some heavy boxes into my car. He was happy to help me. Sadly, I don’t remember his name! This took place today, 5/8/2021, at IKEA in San Diego off Friars Road late in the afternoon. Please let him know I appreciate his quick, friendly service.

Clarance with Angelos was the right man for the job! I had a large travel trailer and truck stuck off the side of the road and he was able to use his 50-ton tow truck to pull it back on the road without causing further damage. It was not cheap but without his large truck and skill, our trailer would still be stuck in the mud.

After a few other failed tow services from other companies, Angelo’s was able to be escorted on the military base where I work to tow my vehicle. My keys were stolen from a locker, and I was unable to get inside the vehicle, and I knew the parking brake was engaged. Other tow companies said they could not tow it because of that, and because it was parallel parked in the street. I thoroughly explained my situation to Angelo’s Towing and I was assured they could tow my car to the dealership. The entire process was very easy, they arrived within 30mins after making the call and the gentleman was very courteous. Highly recommend!

This is more a review of their drivers, wreckless towing driver cut me off doing a quick turn to get ahead of me. This is one towing company that will never see my service.

I was connected with Angelos via AAA and Julio was my provider. Julio was extremely professional, friendly, and efficient. Julio was able to work within my specific needs (I wasnt onsite, etc.) and even sent me a photo of my car being successfully dropped off! They deserve your business, in my opinion.

I’ve been on both sides of the tow scenario. Towed due to parking illegally and towed in a time of need due to a flat or mechanical issue. Tow drivers have that stigma even though you know you need them and they are there for you 24/7 you have the natural association to hold a grudge because somehow it’s their fault when your being towed against your will but I have to say Angelos towing has been there for me every time I needed them and I appreciate that. Today was a bolt in the back right tire of a brand new run flat that can’t be plugged. Which leads me to my problem with tire shops....lol.

Like so many reviews, I too had a horrific experience with a member of their staff Saif. AAA sent Saif to my home for a tow. He was extremely rude and difficult. I asked him on several occasions to please wear a mask while he was interacting with me for my safety and he blatantly refused. He talked down to me and was very aggressive in his approach. I previously used Angelos and had great experiences, I couldn’t believe he was expressing such horrible customer service while representing this company. We ultimately ended up going to Loyal towing and had a fantastic end result. I do not recommend a chance encounter with Saif.

My truck overheated and AAA sent Angelos Towing to take it to my mechanic. The tow truck operater arrived very quickly, was extremely polite and helpful. The tow truck was a large flatbed. They delivered my truck to the mechanic in about 15 minutes. Good job all around, thanks!

My car broke down at a red light at a busy intersection. The brakes locked up on me so we couldnt move the car off the road. A police officer pulled up behind me and asked me to get an expedited tow because we were blocking traffic. Needless to say, it was a bit of a stressful situation. I called AAA and they sent Angelos Towing. They arrived within 15 minutes and the gentleman who loaded up my car moved like he was working in a NASCAR pit. I was extremely impressed. He spent a few minutes after explaining the next steps and I received text messages as a follow up. Overall it was a very positive experience.

Ray was absolutely wonderful. He fixed a broken battery terminal and was incredibly pleasant, professional, and competent. What started as a bummer of a situation was made MUCH better by his personality and positive help. Id recommend Angelos, and specifically Ray, to my friends.

Needed a tow in a bad situation. Angelos came through with flying colors. Martin was our driver, and he was calm, professional, and very thorough with our service. He even made certain to turn the wheel of our vehicle when he dropped off outside our place, and blocked the tires so it wouldnt roll down the hill. Thank God my kid was okay, and that we were able to get the car home.

I received the worst costumer service of my life. The receptionist was extremely rude to me and added stress to an already stressful situation. If she hates her job, she should quit. Empathy is not an outrageous request. Do better.

When stranded at night in the dark near the freeway due to a defective tire, I was surprised to quickly hear from Angelo’s after contacting AAA. The dispatcher was courteous, effective, efficient, and 100% professional, which is completely unlike the demeanor of others I’ve encountered in the past. This dispatcher’s demeanor was calm and kind. He put me at ease right away to help me feel safe until the tow truck arrived.My tow truck driver, Felix, also did an excellent job towing my vehicle for AAA tonight. Felix demonstrated that he has mastered his craft. He is clearly an expert tow truck driver. He was prompt, courteous and professional and his tow truck was clean and brand new! Absolutely terrible experience this morning, called at 5:40am, I was told they would have a tow truck to me in 30 minutes. Naturally, I’d expect at the latest it would be one hour. So I gave them a call after 1 hour and 20 minutes. Which I was then told “I’m sorry it will be another 20 minutes”. 2 hours later I call and it is a new dispatcher and there is no record of my vehicle or phone number in their system. I was courteous the entire time and have never left a bad review. But if you need to get towed and don’t have half of your day to sacrifice, I would go elsewhere!

WARNING, DO NOT USE, call them to tow my vehicle 3 days ago to my mechanic and my car has been MISSING for 3 days now and they’re telling me they have no idea where my car is, and my mechanic says he never got it. If you can help it AVOID at all costs.

Unfortunately it is not the first time I have needed assistance with my car, but when I called AAA for assistance and was told they were sending someone from Angelo’s I knew I would be in good hands. Sure enough they arrived promptly. Kevin was pleasant and quick to take care of my tire. Having to car problems can be stressful but it nice to know that there are companies like Angelo’s to help.

I had an expected response time of 40 minutes but the got to my location in 19 minutes. The operator was friendly, professional and changed my tire in 10 minutes. Ver happy with their service and will call again when needed.

Silver lining of needing a tow in the first place is working with positive people to get the situation back on track.

I happened to see a man on the side of the road with his trucks hood open. Connecting my cars battery to his, we attempted, but failed to start his truck. AAA sent out Jesus from Angelos Towing. Best decision ever!!!Jesus arrived quickly. He was friendly and professional. He looked over the old truck. Then he grabbed a few tools from his tow truck and tinkered around under the mans truck. Within seconds, he managed to get the seventy year old mans truck to start! Im still in awe.Jesus went out of his way to help this man just because. Hit my boyfriends car then did lots of run around for the cost of fixing the car. Then they wanted to use a cheaper company or have my boyfriend fix it himself. Then after a month said the person who we were working with to solve the issue no longer worked there or had any record of working with us. Do not recommend they could just try to charge you for damages they do to other vehicles.

What life savers! My fiancé and I had our car battery die in the parking lot at the vet just this morning and Angelos really pulled through for us. Not only did the technician, Ray, show up 15 minutes earlier than estimated, but he was patient and kind as he explained to us the issue and how to resolve it. Angelos Towing is a fantastic company. They arrived faster than quoted and changed my flat tire in minutes. The drivers were clearly experts and came totally prepared with a compressor loaded onto the back of their truck. I was extremely impressed at how fast and professional their operation is.

Third time I called, and hour and a half later, they said they’d be 30 min. Today I got a flat on the freeway. I was on the shoulder and there were cars flying by. There was barely any room for my smaller car to even be on the shoulder. Great experience! Staff called promptly after I finished talking with a triple “A” representative, indicating ETA of service person. The customer service representative of Angelo’s also indicated using the phone number for any further questions. Service person arrived at indicated time. He provided calm non-pushover customer service expertise regarding my situation which helped me better understand the situation I was in and for the future. Thank you!!

They lied to avoid the tow claiming the member was not present to AAA and to us claimed AAA told them the car was not on our account so dont tow. The next driver took it with no problem.

I’m going to be fair and give 3 stars until I get my car back.. but I told them on the phone what was going on.. they sent a brand new driver out to me and he clearly wasn’t told what the problem was, because he asked me if I needed a jumpstart. Then he hooked my car up and began dragging it, which caused my front wheel to cave in and my bumper was dragged. He then realized that he was damaging my car more and called a “veteran” tow truck driver from his company. The veteran did a good job loading the car onto the truck and he told me that Angelos towing is going to pay for all of my repairs, then he left.. I followed the tow truck to the shop at AAA so I could get a few things out of my car... well, he did not know how to put a car in neutral so I had to climb on the truck while it was at an angle to put my car in neutral for him. When I went to put the car in neutral, I immediately noticed my car was running and my oil light was on because of the tilt, and it was starting to knock (lightly) since no oil was getting to my motor! I asked him if I could shut my car off and his response was “yes if it’s possible to shut it off in neutral”....... but what I’m the most mad about is Angelos towing offering to pay for it, then I called the shop today, 4 days later, and they had NO IDEA whose car it is or why it’s there!!! The tow company NEVER told the shop my info or anything!!! I could have fixed it at my house like I was going to do but angelos towing OFFERED to pay for it. I’m missing work because I don’t have my car. I hope they don’t damage it much more. And I hope it gets for FREE like I was promised but so far I am not happy because I feel like I’m about to get scammed since they never gave the shop any info on my car. I will fix my review whenever I get my car back. I’m very worried. I would hate to see a bill for this because I was going to have it fixed at my house until they told me they’re paying for it. I really am hoping to change this review to 5 stars, but for now- just 3 stars to be fair!

I waited well over 2 hours for these stooges to show up for a flat tire issue. They couldnt find me on the entrance of the 163 North / 10th street. The gal at AAA found me on a map an hour into it, no problem, but the stooges still were unable to find me. Two hours and 20 minutes later, the tow truck comes, and doesnt want to change my tire there, he wants to tow me home, 25 minutes away, and change it there because its safer (for who?). Now, who I am to argue safe tire-changing conditions, but surely there was a safe location before my house 25 minutes away. It was a heck of a long wait, but I had him tow it to the dealership, no chances taken. it turned into a very long day, I have 3 roadside assistance memberships, I will be sure Anthonys is NOT on the list should I ever need one again!

Eric was efficient, courteous, and very kind as he rescued me when I had a flat tire and needed my car towed. He took me to the nearest Discount Tire shop as I requested and helped me by getting a service representative from inside the shop to escort in and arrange purchase. Recommend Angelos Towing as they have helped me with car problems through Auto Club of Southern California many times in the past.

Fantastic experience! The gentleman that towed my car was so patient. He was really trying to help me start my car so I could drive it, and charge the battery. In the end it needed to be towed, but I appreciated the effort. I wish I got his name. Great customer service. If Angelos is seeing this he just dropped the car about 30 min ago in Oakpark. Im in the middle of moving and am basically broke, so finding a screw in my tire as I park is very bad news. However, AAA service from Jorge saved me. He was knowledgeable, friendly and went the extra mile to help me out. The kind of service he gave me is the reason I will always keep my AAA membership, and I hope that if Im ever in a jam like this again Im lucky enough to get someone like Jorge again. Thank you!!

My battery was dead this morning, and one has a tendency to think the day will go downhill from there. I called AAA and was given a 50 minute window, so when Ray showed up, I was pleasantly surprised. He was very thorough and friendly. He showed me the test results to show the battery needed to be replaced. He explained what the computer/systems in the car would do for the first couple of drives after replacing the battery. So, I expected the worst, but virtually everything reset on my way to work. Ray did a great job, offered if there was anything else I needed and wished me a Merry Christmas before he left.
