I said coffin nails, and she formed them into squares. It was really unprofessional how they made me go get cash instead of using my debit card. I kept insisting that they run my debit card and they kept telling me to go get them cash. I asked before the service started if they took debit and they said yes. I’m really disappointed, I don’t like how my nails look and I don’t like the unprofessional service of making me go withdraw cash when they said they took debit.

Ive been coming here for years and always liked the place. Yesterday I went and got a french pedicure. It didnt come out perfect, but my nail professional asked if I was ok with it and I said yes, as Im not one to complain. But then, another woman, perhaps the owner, came over and said she was going to have it redone, to look better. Julie, who was fantastic, came over and redid all of them (not just the couple that were imperfect) and did a fabulous job. They also had a great attitude about it; again, I never complained, but they have good quality control, saw that the work could be improved and made sure that happened. I couldnt be more pleased with the results! Thank you, Super Nail team. Ill be back, again and again.

I stopped by this shop Thursday to get a fill before heading out of town for a quick vacation and one of the young nail techs hooked me ALL the way up. I didnt get her name but she did a fantastic job! I walked in with a pink and white gel set (square shaped)... Honey, I pranced out of there with a fresh pointy/painted set with a little bling for 25 bucks! You cant beat that with a broom! Thanks ladies.. I will be coming back!

Go to DIVA Nails instead!! (1090 3rd Ave, Chula Vista). 5 out of 5 stars in my opinion! At Super Nails I was charged over $55 for French Tip Acrylics that ended up lifting at the cuticle only a week later. The workers seemed like they were trying to charge me for things I didnt want, for example, I asked for long nails at first (which are $5 extra) but then told her I wanted short instead. The woman wouldnt cut them any shorter after I continued to ask her to. She literally kept cutting a thin slice every time I asked her to go shorter. EVEN AFTER I SHOWED HER MYSELF! I was charged for Long acrylics at the end. I am a regular here and I have never been this upset over their work.Its my own fault because Ive been going here for 10 years and knew what to expect. They always rush, overcharge, and their nail last about a week.

They always take good care of my toes and make me feel welcome.

Want to give everyone a heads up...went last week to get a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Not only did my gel manicure AND pedicure chip within a week of having them done but I paid over $60 for both. I understand businesses are suffering as a result of being closed but if youre going to charge out the wazoo for services you better do a good job.

UPDATE: My nails ended up staying on OVER a month. From Halloween until New Years.... so worth the money.This place is amazing, they took me in to do a full set an hour before closing and stayed open almost another hour for me and everyone else who came in late. My nail tech was the sweetest and did such a good job on my nails I am so happy with them. They are a little expensive but it’s super worth it. I haven’t been to a nail salon that made me feel welcomed and taken care of like I do here. I will 100% be coming back.

They do an okay job. Just like the fact that you can walk in without an appointment.

Britney is my absolute favorite! Though I love all the ladies, Im always impressed by her keen attentiveness to detail. Ive been going here for almost over a year and a half. I consider this place a diamond in the rough. Of course you pay for what you ask for.. But overall great experience.

They rush through manis and Pedis to keep the customers moving, seemed like regulars were treated with a bit more care. I went with my wife, and they sat us at 2 different ends so we couldnt even chat, I didnt like that. Cash only, no sign to let you know.

Ive been coming here for a few years now. I really enjoy the massage, creams and lotions that are put on. I feel wonderful when its happening and after its done. I highly recommend this particular nail salon. Thank you Tracy for your efforts and good work.

Been going here for 20+ years. They do good work and go the extra mile for their customers. Prices are reasonable they dont charge for every little thing you know up front what everything will be.

I just walked into a lady coughing and sneezing all over her table without wiping it down. The other ladies all ran to put on masks and were whispering. The lady doing my nails was so concerned about her gossip that she just sliced open my finger and then tried to super glue it shut.

I completely agree with some of the other comments. It really depends on who you get here. Its good in a pinch. Not horrible but not amazing either. Seems like pricing is a little subjective at times~

I went 2 weeks ago to this location. They seemed irritated and burdened with any questions I had regurding the cost of gel but I really needed a pedicure and thought Id give their shop a try any way. Rose was friendly but the lady doing my toes seemed like she was having a rough morning. They are pretty expensive but I wanted to treat myself. Well last week i started having pain in my toe...It has become worse, it burns and is tender to touch. Just an hour ago I came from a doctors appointment finding out that my pedicure had resulted into cellulitis which is an infection of the foot that could possibly become MRSA.

This is BEST nail salon in San Diego/SDSU area...Highly Recommended!

They used to be great but there are new people that are really grumpy and seem burdened by questions or requests. They smudged my friend and she didnt notice until home. Windows ate dirty and some chairs are broken and all are getting old. Maybe there is a new owner because there is a definite decline in service and quality. Used to be packed and now hardly anyone is here. We definitely will be looking for another spot.

They made a mistake and blamed it on me and then when we had to start over she was really ruff and twisted my figures in ways they should not be twisted

Thank you all at SuperNails for another wonderful experience (see photo)! I have been coming here for 7 years because their service is excellent, they have the lowest prices, and they have talented artists! I usually know exactly what I want and they are always happy to help with acrylic, gel, regular polish with gel on top, designs, etc. Even when I dont know what I want or when the designs are complicated, I have always been completely satisfied. I have been to many other places over the years and have always regretted it for one reason, or multiple. I live in La Jolla now but I always go out of my for SuperNails because I know they will do a great job for a great price and my nails are great for at least a month before I have to cut them. I have had some waxing done and have always had a good experience.
