Paid $60 for this manicure, plus $15 tip (kinda regret tipping). She didn’t cut my cuticles or even push them back at all. She also didn’t clean under my nails, she just went straight to filing them down. It’s literally been 2 days and they’re already looking grown out. The sides of my fingers are still as ugly as before and for $75 you can get way better value. The two hands are completely different lengths and the paint was janky on the other side. I could have definitely gone somewhere else to get the same manicure for like $40… feeling like a huge waste of money:(

I was a walk in, my first visit. Nina helped me with a mani pedi and I’ll definitely go back to her. She is friendly and professional. Delightful! It was a positive experience overall. The only thing I regret is they only take cash for tips and I wish I had extra to give her a bigger tip! She earned it snd I’ll be sure to make it up next visit.

I had just started going to Happiness Nails before the pandemic resulted in closing these types of personal services. Thankfully they survived the closures and have built up their cliental base again. The staff is very gracious and takes care to provide high quality services….and I know that I am not the only customer who feels this way because I hear the accolades shared by other customers every time I have a appointment. While walk-ins are accepted, I prefer to make an advance appointment since they are often busy and people without appointments sometimes have a wait or return later. I give Happiness Nails my highest recommendation.

Not a great service..dont even think she ran the nail file under my toesnails.. did not cut away at the skins on my toes it where they were peeling..seems like a lazy job and the polish job wasnt good. WAY OVER PRICED ..

Now I have had a million pedicures. Just to give some insight. I did not have a good time. Nina needs some training. I ordered the same thing my friends did. She didn’t even give me the same package my friends had and they charged me extra. Man I’m gonna keep it real with you. She didn’t know how to use the paraffin bags, all of the product was just on my heels. She brought the hot stones out and didn’t even use them. I was just thinking like daaaawg you could’ve left them things in the back. Meanwhile, I keep looking over at my other 3 friends and they’re getting double stone treatment. They’re having a grand old time. Like I see it on their faces. I feel like the stinky kid on the playground. I’m like daaaaaang I wish. So I start feeling all and sad and stuff. I’ll try another spot out in a couple weeks because If I could give 0 stars I would. This was damaging to my day, and I will not recommend to my other friends.

Besides having a great mani-pedi with nice extras, I was pleased to see a number mommy/daughter groups also enjoying the experience. I was, also, impressed with the tact that was used in dealing with overly-demanding potential client.

Came here because I had a coupon for a pedicure.Place was very clean, and staff was friendly for the most part, and I really liked the almost spa like music playing which I found very relaxing! I will be back when I get a coupon again!

First time Ive been back since lockdown...a year!I do acrylic and gel nails in pink French as my go to. Todays manicure of course included full set.Holly was my manicurist and she did a fabulous job. Made my fingers look like Cadillac great!!I asked for long lasting and she delivered.Ive been having this same manicure for a decade, so Ive had a few people do it, and she was THE BEST.Patient, attentive and entirely pro customer, just how I enjoy being treated.Would recommend this shop and operator to anyone who is a nail connaseure.

Gel nail polish started peeling off after a day of getting them done!! I came for them to fix it they told no! To come the another day for the guy that originally did them to fix them and if wanted them fix at the moment then o would have to pay

I went there for manicure and pedicure. . The staff was friendly. The service was not that good. I had gell manicure and I requested to have a regular manicure. It was very poor service. She didnt clean well and did my nails really fast. I do not plan to go back.

This salon is clean and spacious I feel very safe here because you aren’t sitting right next to others. They do a great job and I love the spa pedicure.

Holly and Ally always do their best to accommodate you. They are friendly and do a wonderful job on manicures and pedicures. I like how they pay attention to detail checking nails for perfect polish application and shape.

The salon is clean, the staff is friendly and the service is really great. I took my 3 month old baby with me and the staff was super friendly. They not only gave me great service, but also help me soothe the baby when he got upset! Very kind women ❤️

The business was clean and very nice looking. I just wish the pedicurist understood english better. I did not enjoy her technique...she was rough and caused pain as she perform my pedicure.

New saloon, very clean. I got a shellac Mani and I expected a massage with my manicure but all he did was slap lotion on my hands and called it good. It was a nice Mani but my favorite part which is the massage was cut completely out.

I love this place! I’ve just started doing designs on gels and they are great at it. Prices are affordable and for the price the nails are definitely well done. I definitely recommend this place!

I researched nearby nail salons and decided to try this place out! I was extremely happy with the quality of service i was provided! Ally did a fantastic job! Would highly recommend!

Disastrous experience. The water was at boiling temperature and I burned my foot badly. I was then reprimanded for not checking the water myself even though the attendant had invited me to put my feet in the water. The very young and clueless manageress was hostile instead of apologetic or helpful. What horrible service. Never again!

They were so nice and caring. My nails look so great! Highly recommend. Plus their prices are so reasonable.

So glad that Happiness Nails opened. It is the cleanest salon in UC. The staff is wonderful, most speak English well and there are many many colors of polish. The polish is fresh, not goopy like other salons in the neighborhood. My manicures have been flawless and last 3 weeks with a gel coat. They are getting busier so call for an appointment if you don’t have 10 minutes to wait.

So-so. Fine and acceptable but nothing special. I had to refile my finger nails after I left but that isnt uncommon since I dont get them polished everyone tends to rush.

Always a great place to go for a mani pedi. Clean, friendly, great massages.

I went for a spa pedicure and didnt TIP because when the lady was done, she got up walked away didnt say thanks, come again, yet all the white women getting pedicures got pampered with extra customer service, thank you and smiles included. FYI JUST BECAUSE YOU MOVED YOUR SHOP TO UC DONT MEAN YOU BETTER THAN ME AMD JUST A REMINDER HAPPINESS NAILS HAS MADE A GREAT DEAL OF MONEY FROM THE AFRICAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY OF SAN DIEGO AMD ALL CUSTOMERS MATTER
