As a family we have been going to West Coast Martial Arts Academy for about two years now. We have watched our kids grow in self-esteem and confidence and mum and dad are also having fun learning new karate moves. Will (the owner) is a great mentor to our kids, always encouraging them to be respectful and teaching them core values. WCMAA is more than a school... it is a family. We have so many wonderful friends there and love all the extracurricular activities that are offered.

My son, Ryan, has been attending West Coast Martial Arts Academy for a year and a half. He loves it and shares many of the character building concepts and ideas with his friends. Mr. Will and Mr. Hank foster a wonderful community environment with many activities and strive to help each student reach their potential. The school focus is on the whole student, not just the martial artist. Students are provided opportunities to develop character traits and positive social skills that will help them to be successful at school and in the community.

The training is challenging but you are part of a kind and supportive community.They teach real world fighting application while fostering an understanding and appreciation of the long history of traditional martial arts.

The instructors are polite and have a pretty good handle on managing an entire class of first graders.My son loves it and feels very proud of his progress. I recommend anyone to at least check it out on a Saturday morning when they have a combined class. If your kid is onto martial arts, he or she will engage right away.

As someone who has been in the martial arts for a while, parents often ask me what style their kids should learn. I always tell them that the school and the instructors are much more important than the style itself. West Coast Martial Arts Academys instructors care about their students. They want their students to succeed and they have the experience to make it happen.

My three grandkids started taking martial arts classes here. Instructors keep them busy and under control for 30 minutes. Appears to be a well-run operation.

My girls have been going for just a couple of months now and have loved it from DAY 1. The instructors really know how to work well with each child. I have noticed an increased in their confidence levels as well as being more focused. I am looking forward to seeing how far they can go!

My son joined the after a fun birthday party here. The martial arts class gives him a different kind of training than soccer and baseball. We really like it. We switched to private lesson so my son can even learn more closely to Mr. Will and Mr. Hank. Both are excellent teachers to train kids and get them engaged!

My boys have been members of WCMAA for 10 years. They are more than instructors in karate. They have become mentors, friends and family. We came to teach our sons confidence, self defense, discipline and focus. We have gained all of that and more.

We have had a wonderful experience with Mr. Will and Mr. Hank at West Coast Martial Arts School. They teach more than just martial arts...they reinforce the positive behavior at home and in school that makes for responsible, respectful and disciplined children. They also make the school fun by offering extra events (movie nights, Halloween party, and many other opportunities for fun).

Signed my little cousin up for classes here and the instructors were awesome. Also the facility is extremely nice as well. This place is the place to go if you want to sign your kids up for martial arts.

This is a very good self defense class for kids and is also affordable, it helps kids to build selfDefense techniques very well which will be with them for lifelong, teachers here are helpful and take pride in teaching with 100 percent involvement

The instructors are all very dedicated & work hard to ensure the students are having a fun & educational experience. There is a really great sense of community between the staff, students, & parents - its a very encouraging & warm environment to learn/ train/ practice martial arts!

Be careful with these guys. They have very shady operation.We enrolled for 4 trial classes last November. At the time when we signed on, we made it very clear that we wanted to try and then decide whether we wanted to continue, and this was agreed upon by Hank with the facility. We took 2 of the 4 classes that we paid for, and decided to stop. We thought this would be the end of it. But for the following 2 months we kept getting monthly bills. We went back to the facility, thinking in goodwill that this was some confusion and would be readily cleared. We were wrong, good will doesn’t work with them. They refused to pay us back.We explained that we never wanted to enroll for any further class. We explained that we were never asked whether we wanted to continue, and would have said no if asked. After all this, Will still felt that he had the right to keep our 260 dollars back. What’s most disgusting is that they charged us for another 130 dollars even after we talked to them about this whole thing.We are deeply disturbed by Will’s behavior. He tries desperately to keep our money although knowing that we will not get their service.Be careful with their shady operation if you are with them. In my opinion, Will does not have the integrity and decency to be instructing young kids.

They have excellent to teach us. Even I am Deaf. They are very good to show me how to do and do not in karate! They have very patient with me for few years and I have successfully passed as 2nd black belt degree and will go for 3rd degree black belt! They teach kids any age and they have excellent patient with kids especially younger kids to teach karate. They success with kids to learn karate. Kids and adults classes sperate to learn, so go for it if you want to learn! Any age! ☺

My daughter has been attending WCMAA for almost 5 years now. She has learned so much over the years and gained so much confidence in herself. Will and Hank are really awesome instructors! They care about their students as a whole, not only instructing them on martial arts, but also teaching them core values. They have created a very family-friendly environment and I highly recommend their martial arts academy.

The adult class is fun and helped me to get back in shape while learning martial arts. The different seminars they offer are informative, fun, and one of a kind! I highly enjoyed the Jiu Jitsu seminar a few months back and met some new people at the same time. Thanks for being great instructors and having a giant facility is a huge bonus!

When I settled in 4S Ranch, I looked at many different studios around the area for my 6 year old son to join. Most of the studios were in strip malls with small facilities. West Coast Martial Arts Academy has a large studio and amazing instructors. After my son tried the free samples at the other facilities, he absolutely fell in love WCMAA.I had been in and out of martial arts studios for years. Mostly because I moved around a lot. After looking at other facilities with my son, the size of the facility and the instructors at WCMAA in my opinion were above the rest. The students learn the techniques and the instructors really teach discipline. It is an amazing school! I joined a month after my son joined. I love it!

West Coast Martial Arts helped me learn a sense of personal responsibility maturity, and goal setting. Mr.Will and Mr.Hank work very hard to ensure that students become the best they can be.

We have been coming here for 4 1/2 years and we couldnt be more happier with our decision. We looked at other martial arts schools in the area and were immediately impressed with WCMAA. Mr. Will and Mr. Hank create an environment in which the adults and children are able to learn and enjoy martial arts. WCMAA also does fun things for childen such as movie nights and summer camps, but they also throw the best birthday parties! Both my boys love going to WCMMA.

My boys have been consistently attending WCMAA for 6 years. With so many martial arts options in SoCal, if there was anything negative about WCMMA, we would have left. I am grateful for the relationships, instruction and fun they experience. IMOP, the material is not as important as the instructors and these instructors are outstanding for kids and adults. The facility is great and the material covered in class is always centered on practical application.
