I researched on finding the right place for care. I found a gem! Dr. Hekmat and her office coordinator, Vicky, are awesome. Dr. Hekmat takes her time with you and does not push products or treatments. I have had IPL, Lip Filler, Corner of Mouth Filler, Laser Hair Removal, bought Skin Medica Products, and could not be more pleased. I highly recommend this place!

My daughter who is 25 years old has been battling her weight the majority of her life. Although she wanted to lose weight she never had the motivation to do so. She has tried several diets but has failed on all of them. I made an appointment with Dr. Maryam Hekmat as the last hope to help Nikki lose weight.Dr Hekmat completed a physical on nikki which included blood in urine test. At that time we found out that Nikki was diabetic. It was at that time that reality sunk in with Nikki and that something had to be done not only on her weight but for her diabetes as well.Dr Hekmat put Nikki on a regiment of Medifast and gave her a calorie count that she must not go over. She also gave her some medication to help. She promised Nikki that if she stuck with this plan she would not only lose weight she would also not be diabetic. Nicki went from 203 pounds to 135 pounds in 7 months. Nicki went from a size 17 to a size 6 .During this time Nikki had also hired a trainer at a gym who worked with her twice a week.Dr Hekmat was more than a doctor that gave Nikki a plan to follow. She became an advocate and a friend to Nikki and someone that she could trust during this regiment.As her weight dropped her whole demeanor changed. She felt good about herself and became secure about her body which made her mentally stronger. She is no longer depressed. And she is no longer diabetic. I would recommend Dr Hekmat to anyone that is very serious about losing weight and that has failed at other diets. Dr Hekmat is just not about preparing a plan for you to lose weight.
