Was on the boat on September 28 and it caught 289 fish count. Accolades go out to Captain Matt for putting us on fish all day. The crew is outstanding especially Fisher who helped save my fish many times that day. The others Gerald and Marco are best in class and super friendly. They know how to react to tangles and any complication you could possibly have with your gear. Highly recommend this boat for top quality Captain and best crew.Worthy mention is Andrew who was the deckhand on my first trip very helpful to everyone on the boat. The Tribute one 21/2 day trip. Sept 3-6th 200+ bluefin tuna on the kit.id say for a woman I did pretty dam good with the excellent help from the deckhands.3rd year fishing the Tribute its always excellent crews.Tough rocky fishing but awesome. And awesome people also. Cant wait till next time.

We went on a twilight fishing trip on the New Seaforth and we had a great time. We caught lots of fish and loved the whole experience. The crew are great. My son was seasick. They checked on him several times. I definitely recommend seasickness medicine if you are sensitive to motion sickness. Overall, we had a great time and I would give them a higher rating than five stars if I could.

Went out on a half day on the New Seaforth. Some caught Dorado on the morning boat, and the rest of us nothing. Went out again on the New Seaforth,on the twilight trip and caught some Sea Bass.The crews are great at helping everyone get their gear right, pulling up fish and filleting for you.

The ship was clean and the crew was nice. This was the first ship I was on that did not have squid available as bait. To make matters worse the boat closed the brow and then said the fish in the morning were wanting squid and there was none onboard. If the ship gave us 5 more minutes to buy some our experience would have probably gone from good to great, as we came home with little to show for our time vs those who had squid.

Ryan Bostian and the entire team on The San Diego are world class. We have been chartering The San Diego for over 15 years - almost 60 charters, and every single trip has been loads of fun for everyone. We dont even look at anyone else. The San Diego is our go-to boat. In addition to providing us a great experience, Ryan will drive the boat half way to China to find us some fish. If there is only one hungry fish in the ocean, Ryan will hunt it down. He usually finds a whole lot more.I have people calling me all the time to ask when our next charter is, and to sign up for it! Great experience. am 1/2 day. Basically 5 hrs of fishing. SEAFORTH Crew was attentive but not in your grill all morning. Took care of everyone. Be back in May and looking forward to booking again. More than just a half day this time.

Great experience! Crew was great, very friendly and made me feel at home., deck hands did a great job helping with catches and even prepped my catch! We took some home for fresh sushi same day and it was wonderful. The cook onboard did a fabulous job, the Captain knew the area and got us right into some good fishing and everyone took some home!

Great day at Seaforth: easy parking, prompt and helpful check in/rental, timely departure with a friendly, professional crew that put us on some really fun fishing for the day. On time return with filleted fish, rental person to greet us and shortly after we are at home grilling and frying tasty fresh fish for dinner. Let me say that I’ve been taking my Daughter Jessica Fishing since she was 11 years old. She is now in college and loves fishing on the New Seaforth so much because the Captain & the amazing crew always take great care of her. This team is big on customer service and go above & beyond to make sure everyone has a great experience. She even books her own trips now because she’s that comfortable with the crew. I love this Boat and Crew. I have been going out with them for the last 20 years. Everyone from the people in the shop at the landing to the cooks on the boat. Everyone every time is great. Captain always puts us on fish and the deck hands are quick to help and always very nice. They take great care of you and your family. Great with getting the kids on fish too. Its the only 1/2 day boat for me.

All of the crew members including the captain really worked hard to get us on the fish and we were able to land our first tuna ever. Great trip! I work in the marine industry and had never been offshore fishing. Crazy since it’s my fave demographic (aside from my sailers) The crew and Cpt of New Seaforth were fantastic! We were surrounded by guests of whom many were regulars but the crew were still so kind and helpful! And the cook is amazing. I caught 2 rock fish, 5/6 calico bass and a barracuda (all too small to keep) but so much fun! Great day on the water. Can’t wait to book another one next trip 🎣 🐠 🐟🐬🦭☀️🪝🛥🌊🗺

Overall it was a great fishing trip! The crew was very helpful and patient. They would assist as much as they could and explain what one should do fto better the odds of catching a fish 🐟.The boat 🚢 and sleeping quarters where really clean.The food wasnt so good and not much to shooter from. Every one in the trip liked it. And yes I will go again before the end of September.Thank you Tribute for a great adventure.

This was one of the greatest fishing days of all time, broke the record of the 2021 fishing season for a one day trip on the San Diego. Caught limits on yellowfin and skip Jack over 280 fish over the rail for 32 anglers. Best day ever on the boat with a crack crew, Seaforth Landing and the San Diego are without the best organization for anglers on the entire west coast.

A beautiful day to ride a boat and possibly see a whale. We came in to the parking lot. Saw Seaforth and thought lets park here and check where we need to get the tickets. The man in Seaforth Boat Rentals said to walk down and look for the spot. My dad asked (my aunt asked as well) if it was okay to parked where we were the man said yes (to both) A trap we fell into believing the man. So after the nice boat ride, we came back to see that our cars were gone, had been towed. With no warning, no ticket we were lied to. On top of that when we asked Seaforth Sportfishing, Legacy about them not warning us either (no text about parking on the confirmation or website when you book). They play the blame the other game. No solution, apology, rude, sad to see what people do just for a buck. Go against the very people that bring the money to their business so I ask you to be careful if you still like to book with this shady business. If you like a business that provides its customer with details specifically regarding parking check out City Cruises, definitely will choose them in the future. Other than that enjoy your trip!

The boat can use a renovation. The bathroom doors need to be fixed, on my 2nd trip they ran out of fresh water. There were bait issues on both of my trips, they only gave some larger sardines; otherwise, we would only fished with the tiny sardines which has much lower chance of getting bit.

Five stars on every way.Starting with great beautiful landing, very well ran boat. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Professional galley staff was very beautiful with great food and service. Fishing was excellent and staff was there for you through every step. Hats off to the captain who searched all day until the end. I came home smiling with limits of Dorado and yellow tail to put a golden cap of the trip. Thank you Ryan M. for great recommendation.

Best half day boat in Southern California. Brian and Julio are excellent captains that make you feel welcome on the boat. The crew has a positive attitude and dedicated to great customer service. Always there to assist with tackle issues and problems. Getting the kids hooked on fishing is a high priority too on the boat. The boat is very comfortable at 85 feet long and the landing is easy to get too.

I can only comment on the Tribute 1.5 day trip. It was amazingly rough on the way out, very little sleep. Next morning the sea had calmed down but the fish wouldnt bite. Looked like we might get skunked but the captain just kept on it. With only a few hours left we landed on a large school of Bluefin. That in its self is not unusual but what came next was amazing. More than 15 guys were hooked up, it was bedlam, but I have never seen a better crew. Frank seemed to be everywhere. The big blond captain was gaffing fish left and right. But what impressed me most was the older captain, no offense, he was like a traffic cop in a busy intersection, keeping everyone moving, baiting hooks, untangling lines, even casting out some peoples bait. What started off a down note ended up as a really memorable trip. If you have a chance take that boat.

This was my very first experience on a sport boat. I sold my 30 foot Striper fishing boat last year that I had for 9 years. I decided to let someone else take care of me and relax. I chose the San Diego because I always saw it where I fished and they always caught fish. On my first trip I was impressed with the folks who took my reservations. They called several day before my trip and told me we would be fishing for Yellow Tail at the Coronado Islands and I needed to bring my passport and what fishing poles I needed. We left on time and arrived at the islands when the captain said we would. It wasn’t long before we started pulling in Yellow Tail. The deck hands were absolutely the best at keeping control of the chaos that was happening on the deck. The captain kept us on fish until we reached our legal limits. Everyone was happy with the days fishing and everyone went home with fish. I could go on but you get the idea of what it was like. I’m definitely going to book another trip in a month or 2. Seaforth is the only way to go fishing.

Seaforth Sport fishing and The San Diego are a first class operation. From checking in the front office and signing on the boat was easy. Friendly and well organized staff. Fished a private charter and in my opinion the best full day boat in the fleet. Captain Matt and crew worked hard to put us on fish and they didn’t disappoint, over 100 plus yellowtail were caught. Perfectly prepared burgers or burritos and cold beverages served in the galley. Skilled and friendly deck hands willing to help out the novice beginners or seasoned anglers. Treat yourself on a day in the water. From the bottom to the top Seaforth sport fishing and The San Diego are top notch. I’ll definitely fish this boat again!

Just got back from a trip on the Aztec. I fish on a lot of boats (8-10 trips a year) and I can say without a doubt that Capt Greg and the crew on the Aztec are super fishy dudes. They travel the extra mile and constantly keep you posted as to the plan....you can tell they want their customers to be happy and catch lots of fish. Awesome trip and tip shelf Capt.

I am new to fishing. I have only gone with Seaforth however. I am comfortable with the fleet. I have gone fishing with the San Diego, Tribute, Sea Watch and the Pacifica. The staff at the tackle shop are helpful. They helped me with my first set up even though I didn’t buy my reel and rod there. I was a little disappointed though when I went on my first overnight trip and didn’t get any kind of advice or tackle recommendation when i rented my heavy set up. I realize I’m responsible for gaining my own knowledge but it would’ve been nice if someone had asked if I had glow in the dark stuff. I’m obviously new if I’m renting my gear. Overall, I appreciate the staff who always answer my questions when I call or change my scheduled trips around.ProsThey have free parking! They are next to Royal Rooster that serves yummy grub. Good location.Cons🤔 I can’t really think of any right now.

I fished a full-day trip with this crew and they were amazing. They were super patient and helpful with the new anglers as well as us experienced anglers. They worked hard to get us on a solid variety of pelagics on a day when the bite was slow and we still did great. The boat is spacious at the stern and sides and the bow is average size but works fine for throwing jigs with a handful of other people. I’d recommend this boat and this crew and will go again.

Check in was really fabulous in the early AM hours when the boss was around, place ran like a clock. But while checking in at night for another trip (a week later) I found it not to be as good as when the boss was there during the AM time hours. Park was great, store well stocked with last minute gear, and easy access to boats. Aside from my poor experience with the PM staff, it’s my favorite landing in SoCal.

I love going fishing out of seaforth sportfishing. I always have a good time and 95% I catch 🎣 thanks to the captain and crew on the boats for putting us on the fish! Good food and always a fun time.

Seaforth Sportfishing seems entirely excellent. The whole process was great except we got skunked. The captain did a good job stopping on 20 or 30 kelp paddies but no fish! Correction, 1 Dorado went to the only young boy on the boat. Participation awards for everyone...

Seaforth is great. I would say the best landing I’ve fished out of. The staff is friendly. The parking is free. The fact that I was able to choose my bunk in advance made all the difference. I really like the idea of paying half the trip in advance. All in all a great experience.

Overall great trip! So stoked to come home with two bluefin tunas!Negative- I was shocked by how two of the deckhands were so unfriendly to me when I was trying to ask for help a few times. I realize working on a boat is tough work but customer service is important. Don’t rip a sardine at my head and laugh.Positive- The Captain, the guy with long hair, and the chef were outstanding and very helpful. Captain put us on fish and it was a blast!!Can’t wait for the next trip!

The Sea Watch had literally the best crew we have been with EVER. Informative, helpful, fun, and engaging and kept us on fish the whole day. We won’t book with anyone else from here on out! Captain Ryan and his crew, plus Cass in the galley made this trip perfect. We will be out again......as soon as we can find a day they’re not booked! 😁

The crew out of Seaforth and especially on the San Diego are fantastic. Pretty much the only 1 day boat I go on now. They always do their best to get you on the fish. The crew is super helpful and experienced and keep the boat clean and organized. The burgers are also crazy good for a fishing boat.

I have been going on charters for 10 years and never realized what exceptional crew meant until I had the pleasure of going on a full day aboard the Seawatch out of Sea forth landing yesterday! Best full day boat in the fleet hands down. Captain Ryan and backup Captain Matt know how to find fish. Lead deck hand Fisher knows what he is doing and makes it looks easy working hard all day, every day. Marco on deck and Andrew in the galley are both awesome. Highly recommend the boat.

I went out on the New Seaforth for a half day trip. Great crew. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and hard working. Seaforth landing itself if always great. Checking in is a breeze and the shop is usually pretty well stocked.

Seaforth boats are always a good trip with great crews. We went on Tribute this time and caught YFT limits with awesome help from captain and crew.

Crew was excellent! Galley food much better than normal. Capt kept us on fish the whole time. Easy to fish and move around to and from bait tanks. Great experience…definitely will go out on this boat again.

First time out on the San Diego. Must say I was worried when they had called and switched our plans to fish elsewhere. The Captain made the right call. He put us on fish all DAY! Not a dull moment the entire day. And the crew Top Notch!!! They had everything under control the whole time, from. Hooking the fish, too untangling lines, instructions, to everything.. We went for 2 half day trips. The both captains and crew were awesome. Very helpful and so nice. If we werent catching fish they made sure we did. The galley food was good also. If we can come back we will go fishing with them again.

I was on my first ever Full Day Tuna fishing trip with the “San Diego” out of Seaforth Landing. Great crew and boat! The Captain put us on a lot of schools and it payed off! Caught my limits of Bluefin for the first time. Definitely a professional outfit and first rate crew. Hope to be out with them again soon.

From start to finish- checking in, boarding, fishing (maybe even messing up a line or too…), everyone and everything was top shelf. Very, very clean boat with open and obvious attention to safety and rules. Crew, WOW! Patient, professional, attentive and really respectful. All the landings in San Diego have great fleets, but Seaforth is on Mission Bay and has by far the greatest parking and a hop over the bridge to visit Mission Bay! You have free parking steps away from the boats! Awesome Sportfishing from the top notch fleet including the Pacifica, Tribute and the always popular San Diego fish killing machine for 1 day trips! There are a few more that are great but usually on a charter basis

Blown away! There was an immediate family style environment and not a corporate trip feeling! It was my sons first fishing experience ever and somehow they got him to come outta his shell which is something even I haven’t accomplished yet! The amount of fish caught was out of this world! He captains on this boat are too notch, the deck hands are top notch and the food was great! There is no way I will veer to try a different boat, we found a home! We are already planning a larger group trip on this exact boat-The Pacifica!

It was a good fishing day although I only got one bight and it tore me line. The skipper knew where to go for the fish. There were several fish caught. The deck hands were helpful and the cook was attentive. I highly recommend this boat.

Through the years I’ve made lots of long time friends that share the same passion towards being out in the water having a good time. The San Diego out of Seaforth Landing has a well deserved reputation of being one of the best operations in the entire Southern California sport fishing fleet, and today was a good example why. From the office guys taking reservations and checking you in to the crew and captain everyone is friendly and welcoming. The boat is clean and well set up for this type of fishing. They went early and loaded bait so at our 5:30 am start we were able to head straight out. The crew mingles around offering to help you rig and check drags. Within about 5 minutes of arriving at the islands we were on our first school. We were fortunate that the fishing was so good on our trip but a good part of that was due to the captain and crew. They worked extremely hard all day to put us on more fish, especially making sure the newer and rent rod anglers all got to catch a lot of fish. We got on multiple schools of yellowtail throughout the day and caught easy limits for everyone on the boat. We then moved out a ways chasing bluefins. Only one guy caught one, but with the day we had they could have headed in early and we all would have been happy. I highly recommend this boat and landing. The free parking is a bonus.

Booked at Full Day trip on the Sea Watch - having fished open party boats in SoCal for last 35 years, this amazingly was my first time aboard this boat out of Seaforth.. And I was very impressed! For a boat that usually does more 1/2 day trips, I didnt know exactly what to expect for a full day searching for tuna. The boat itself has a very wide beam, sits very low in the water making it a very stable and roomy platform - with a bonus of huge bait tanks and even a chilled fish hold for keeping your catch fresh. The crew was the most friendly I have fished with in a decade, and competent. While there a lot of rental rods on our trip, they did a great job to assist newbies but also give great advice to more seasoned sticks. The captain Chris had no reservations about burning fuel to find fish, and took us almost 40 miles to find biters. We finally found some bluefin willing to bite and captain kept the boat out late so everyone could have a shot at landing bluefin from 20-40# class. We returned 3 hours late to the dock but with everyone having a shot at least one bluefin. Crew worked all day to get us some fish, and didnt mind staying late, even though it made for a quick turn around and little sleep for them for the following day’s trip. A great day on the water even if the counts were “average” - 16 bft for 25 fisherman. That boat worked hard to insure a great trip for all its guests - and succeeded completely! Thank you to the entire crew of the Sea Watch - I will definitely book trips with them again!

The new Seaforth Landing boat is spacious and clean. Captain kept jumping around, not a fan of moving around so much. Half day trips usually aren’t for the angelers benefit. Crew and staff was cool. Would of given 5 stars but when you have a high grade fish finder you should be able to find 1 or 2 good spots to fish.

I’ve been out on the New Seaforth multiple times, and this is now my go to boat for half day trips. The deck hands are friendly and incredibly attentive. The skipper does a great job of communicating conditions, depths, etc. I’m looking forward to trying another one of their boats for longer trip soon.Huge thank you to the crew on the AM trip this morning. Went on a charter on the Endeavor. There were yellowtail fish caught and we saw pods of dolphins, sea turtles, tuna, and whale spouts. Great captain and crew. Fun times! Love being on the water.

The location of this dock is amazing! The caption and most of the deck crew was very helpful except for the 2 younger guys. They seemed to be bothered when asked for help. Would like to go in the beginning of spring.

Great trip!! This boat is serious about finding schools and getting your lines in the water. Every crew member was on point and extremely helpful. The captain had us on nice schools of bluefin from 5a straight through to12a. If you are serious about fishing I would highly recommend this boat. But if you book a trip on the Pacifica make sure to stay hydrated and save some energy for night jigging. These guys will have you on fish the entire time so you will be fishing hard!

BEST TRIP EVER! I couldn’t be more pleased with everything, What made the trip was not only the great fishing but the helpful, knowledgeable crew. The Capitan Ryan was on point all day. Super funny, and knew his fishing! The rest of the crew (James, Cass and Rylie) were amazing as well! Always there to help and do whatever we needed! I have used this landing twice along with H and M landing. I have to say in my most honest opinion, Seaforth Landing is by far the better of the two. Their crew is top notch, professional, and really wants you to be successful. And what can I say about the captain of the Sea Watch, Kris Karpow....except he seems to be bent on putting you on the fish! He just does not give up and seems to put fish in your sack! I will come back again, and again, and again! And I am driving all the way from Los Angeles to do so!

What an awesome trip. The whole crew was fantastic, helping everyone that needed assistance. The captain put us on some great bluefin, yellowtail. Great fisherman as well. Everyone was having fun and respectful to all. Couldn’t have had a better time. Wish I could remember the captain and crews names as each deserve gratitude!Planning another outing soon

So I would like to be selfish and keep this gem to myself but Seaforth has so much going for it they really deserve the credit. Not only do they have some of the fleets best boats/captains/crews from 1/2 day to multi day they also have a free ample parking and a great tackle shop and an attached fast food beer vendor. What more can you ask for? Thank you Seaforth!

Went out 8/19/21 on the “Dana Pride” Fishing was great. However the service from the crew & captain was inexcusable. Captain told the patrons this was the worst group of fisherman’s he’s ever taken out. The captain was unable to properly setup a drift, he would just leave the back of the boat into the wind so everyone lines would drift to the back of the boat. Instead of being able to fish the 95’ feet of rail.If you get lucky like I did the deckhand BOB will even challenge you to a fight in the parking lot after he gets off the boat. Hopefully they learn how to Gaff a fish because we would’ve had boat limits if they could’ve swung a gaff properly.

I wanted to thank those amazing deck hands we had. I took my son on his first 1/2 day trip a few weeks ago and those young men were nothing but helpful and knowledgeable. I have been fishing on sport boats for over 40 years and most of the time all crew members were always unfriendly and in bad moods. My son and I will always recommend Seaforth landing.

Great place to go fishing. It has a big parking lot. You can park your car there for many days while you are on your fishing trip.

The captain Justin dont know hes last name the boat was Aztec the fishing changed the water got warmer so instead of doing the same old thing like h&m landing would do he changed hes stradage we had 30 people and caught 250 fish and quality fish I had a great time I totally recommend fishing the Aztec crew was great worked hard and very helpful I took my nephew who has never fished this kind of trip they helped him a,great deal and they was cool instead of yelling thanks guys

The trip was great caught good fish, they should get 5-star, If they ask before filleting the fishes I caught. Other than that I and my friends had a great time.

The crew of the San Diego is always professional and helpful ! The deckhands, Fisher, Marco and Andrew are always pleasant and it’s great watching them work with the younger kids and the older clients to make sure everyone has a great time when they out on the water . This is the only boat and crew that I’ll use for a full day trip because if it’s possible to put fish on the deck this crew will get it done !

Seaforth is the cornerstone of the elite fishing fleet in San Diego. Every boat has a AAA captain (Matt of the San Diego, Andrew V of the Pacifica, Greg on the Aztec, Mike of tribute ) and a great crew. Southern Ca fishing can’t be discussed without mentioning Seaforth.AAA service, captains, crew, fleet!

Went out on a charter specifically Sea Watch and it was a horrible trip. I’ve been on many boats fishing and never experienced anything like I did on this boat. I called to complain and inform them also asking partial refund which was denied. On this day the captain had his 10 & 13 year old boys on the boat to work and learn which I think is great. But when it came to fishing they jumped right in and would cut in front of people and tried to dominate the paying customers for fishing spots. Then on the way in one of the deckhands took the grease from the kitchen stove and dumped it overboard into the ocean on the way in. This entire trip was a complete wreck. I now understand why the San Diego has the crew and reputation it has and I am completely dissatisfied with Seaforth and will not be back with them for any outings again. I will for sure take my business elsewhere and let my family and friends know about this trip. So as you can see the ownership always sides and never takes accountability for the mistakes of their crews. I’ve heard that Seaforth was the best and I will NEVER use them again! The captain flat out lied that he they weren’t his kids! They sat in wheelhouse with him on the way to fishing grounds and called him Dad in front of passengers! I’d survey the people that went out.Very disappointing that you don’t believe your customers and the fact that they dumped grease overboard is wrong! Never seen any boat do this before.

We spent the whole day searching for kelps with nothing in it. We caught 8 fish out of 33 anglers on an overnight fishing. Found out that the rest of the fishing boats on the same day caught almost limits of fish. The captain does not seem to know where the fish are.The deck hands are very helpful, friendly and courteous.
