You always hear the reviews about having an amazing time, etc., etc., but, I had to write this.If you want to go charter sport fishing in San Diego to have a AMAZING time with a fantastic Captain and Crew and what I believe is a GREAT chance as some beautiful fish, then the El Gato Dos is your boat.Traveling for work, I unfortunately was unable to book in advance, BUT, on a one day notice, Captain Brian and Mike were ready for a full day of fishing. Of course he advised, this is fishing, not catching (grins), and the reality is that fishing off the coast of San Diego this year has been a challenge for all. So, we struck out with a plan (Captain Brian went with his gut feeling and we went the other way from other boats). Needless to say, we found hammerhead shark, LOTS of fish sign, boiling schools of Blue Fin Tuna...AND, we hooked nearly a dozen GREAT fish, landing a total of 8. They were spaced out just right, so the action and relaxation and beautiful scenery were perfect.What we found especially great was the crew. Captain Brian genuinely cared about finding us some sport fishing. Even when he could of just sat and allowed us to fish a location that did have some fish, he said, nope...were moving on, in search of the next exciting opportunity. When he spotted Blue Fin Tuna, his excitement was infections...he obviously LOVES what he does, and providing an amazing experience for his guests is simply an extension of himself. His boat was beautiful, extremely well taken care of, and both his and Mikes efforts supported this.My wife and I had an amazing time, great snacks and food, and the best fishing trip we have every been on all thanks to Captain Brian and Mike.I cannot speak highly enough, go fishing with Captain Brian and his crew, (with the right mental attitude of course - grins), and you will have a wonderful and exciting time.

Had a great day on the El Gato Dos. I cant say enough about the guys, (Brian & Ethan). The boat and equipment are top notch as well. Cant wait to go back out with these guys .

Captain Brian is top notch. We had multiple challenges beyond anyones control however Captain and crew (Ethan) persevered. We came home with a FULL cooler. If you want guaranteed fish go to the market but if you want to go fishing, go with these guys.
