Book at your own risk!I fished with the the RP in late 2019 - the trip was 10/10! Recently fished with the RP for a Father’s Day trip with my family…a slew of problems emerged. Unfortunately, the owner (the one who doesn’t drive the boat) seemed uninterested in helping us find a resolution.I’m disappointed to say that I’d recommend fishing with a different outfit due to unpredictable non-family & non-female friendly behaviors from the crew and a lack of concern and meaningful resolution from the owner (the one who doesn’t drive the boat).

My first trip Tuna fishing, crew were amazing and boat was above par. Excellent food on board. Great experience my first time out. Will be back.

Horrible 3 day trip. Its a party boat for the crew. The owner Frank LoPreste only cares about himself and not customer service. I will never be on another boat owned by him. I can see why the Shogun had some overdoses last year. (Ownership)

The most amazing fishing trip ever! Thanks to Don Crabtree, Captain Roy, Eddie, Greg, Derren, Joe& Joe, and last but not least Chris thank you everyone for an of the charts experience !

Poor health has prevented me from further fishing but in prior years these folks were always the best!!

I went on the 3 day trip with captain Jeff, we had no fish after 2 days and on the third day only a handful of people caught just one fish. Ill never come back for this overpriced three day boat ride.All the other boats at the dock had caught limits for the past 4 days. The fish were bitting, just nowhere near our boat.

Had a 3 day trip on this boat where one of the crew members was shooting heroin. Had to come in from to drop him off to the police. Ownership gave us a $300 voucher for an upcoming trip. What a poor operation. Take your business elsewhere!

I have done 5 trips on this boat, Captain Jonathan and Captain Roy consistently put us on fish. I must say the food was outstanding I gained a pound a day; Mark Rocked as The Chef. Fresh sushi, home made breads, great breakfasts and of course snack in the galley was an everyday treat.... Guadalupe Island White Sharks (tax man), YFT and Yellowtail made for some exciting fishing. We boated multiple fish over 100 and some in the 135 class with the crew right there to help. Sometimes a little to much help, hand me your rod OK so I get it. Ill be back. Kennyg
