Best trip ever! Not only did Captain Doug work tirelessly to put us on fish from sunrise to sunset, three days in a row, he found us spinner dolphins, rizzo dolphins, gray whales, Mola Molas, exotic birds, bioluminescence, and more! He filleted our fish, bbq’d dinner, took Instagram worthy photos, loaded our tuna spearguns, kept the boat cleaned, brought bean bags for napping and extra gear which came in handy of a few occasions, and made sure we were always set up for success! Oh, and he is funny, very funny! Literally, what more could you ask for?If you want a perfect day on the water, Doug and Zen Mar will make it happen!Remember to tip 20%!!!Good luck out there and best fishes!!

Was trying to contact the charter for a 1/2 day fishing trip never received response to text messages, voicemails. Went through booking company and received email the it was canceled. Highly recommend using another charter.

What a great experience. We had a group of six go out with Zenmar and hauled in over a dozen fish. The captain was very helpful and nice. His son was extremely helpful, as well. The fishing equipment was provided and all of the locations we fished were successful, or were at least getting bites.Plus, Zenmar has some fast boats. Compare to other charters out of Point Loma or Mission Bay, we arrived at our fishing destination in ~20 minutes, not in 1.5 hours.We will definitely be using them again for our next charter.

I had the pleasure of diving for blue fin on the Zenmar with Captain Doug and Rob last week. Both are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and great fun to be onboard with. Clean, fast boat, great food, and very fishy. Learned alot and they put us on a ton of fish. If you get the opportunity to dive or fish with these guys, dont hesitate. 10/10 would go again!
