A friend introduced Ms. Shahin Koohkan to me and that is how I ended up calling into this tax company and driving almost 40 minutes to meet her.I have met a couple of nice and helpful tax assistants within the last 10 years. This year my tax situation was a little bit complicated, I purchased a home recently and had no idea how to deal with home related tax form and also my husband has lived in another state all year long due to his job situation. Unfortunately Ms. Koohkan was not nice at all and was not willing to help. She mentioned my tax will takes longer and she has another customer right after me. I was even ok to pay more if timing was the case. She started asking questions like why you made appointment with me not with your last year tax preparer? My answer was because I was not very happy with what he did, i had a hard time getting my tax return and it took longer due to a typo mistake he made. Her answer was since your paperworks takes long time your previous assistant was frustrated and you probably paid him less than what he deserved so you better go back to him and ask him to get your tax done!She even had no idea about my previous experience! She asked why my husband is not living here with me! What kind of marriage is it?! A NOT her business question! She told me my marriage is illegal since my husband lives in a different state and she is not comfortable helping me getting illegal married filling jointly tax done!!! I was shocked hearing all her words. She was so rude, not nice and her attitude was not professional.If I were her I would defiantly say your paperwork takes longer and you may end up paying more and we need to stop when my next client shows up and will continue with your filing after she/he is done instead of ignoring my new client who could be a forever client and would definitely mind my business not asking very personal questions! I have to mention that this is the first time I am writing 1-star review for someone. But her attitude made me sad and disappointed. I feel so sorry for her and Unfortunately i had the worst experience ever and wont recommend her at all.

I took my auntie to do her taxes and she was lied to. was told she suppossed to receive a quite large amount of tax return and the IRS rejected it because they were done incorrectly. She said my auntie misunderstood and she wasnt getting that amount beause “Trump is building the WALL”.Maybe less GAME OF THRONES ON HBO!! very rude lady and unprofessional —-FRAUD TAX PREPARER!!!! tax lady name is SHAHIN!!!

We needed a notary on a Sunday afternoon. We drove all over town and every business that provides notary services was closed. When we got back home, I figured that I would try to find a notary online that is available on Sundays, but was pretty sure that I wouldnt be able to find one. I called Cal Budget Services. When Shahin answered the phone, I expected that she was going to tell me that she wasnt available on Sunday. Much to my surprise, she dropped everything and agreed to meet us at her office. Shahin was so nice and welcoming even though we interrupted her Sunday afternoon. Although she has other services available, she didnt try to sell us anything. Actually, she welcomed us in a way that it felt like good friends that have known each other for years. When we saw that she was also an insurance agent, we inquired about renters insurance coverage. If Shahin had turned us down and not gone into her office on a Sunday afternoon, escrow would not have closed on time on the house we are selling. We appreciate her help, and we will definitely use her services again and we will also recommend her to everyone we know.
