Ive been seeing Lori Underwood for over 2 years and Im so thankful I did. Lori has a way of making you feel grounded so that unraveling and healing can take place. Its nerve wracking to even take the steps to find a therapist but the moment I stepped in her office I felt comfortable. She has the ability to gauge where you are and provide you with the necessary tools and challenges you need to move into a state of understanding and peace with yourself and provided a safe space from day one. Thank you Lori for your guidance and service to myself and others.

Making the decision to go to therapy was not easy and I honestly didnt think I was going to make it past the first week. After meeting Lori, my whole perspective shifted and I havent looked back since. Having someone so tentative to my process and feelings was something Ive never experienced before. I am grateful for finding this office and starting this journey. I would recommend Lori to anyone who is ready to start their own journey to a healthier life!

Ill be blunt with my review, as that is my personality. Lori has given me strength inside of myself I never knew I had. Within our very first encounter in person she was able to pry out EXACTLY what my blocks were in my life mentality... it was unreal. Now on top of my personal sessions (that I never miss), my wife and I both go to Lori for couples therapy as well, and man has she improved our relationship tenfold from being more communicative, to learning cues for each other etc.I was very high and mighty and against ever needing to go to therapy, but as soon as I went and experienced a session with Lori, I knew that this investment was worth it, and I knew that Lori truly has everybodys best interest in mind. She doesnt press you to keep coming, you can come and go at your own will, but we WANT to be there because of how positive we feel once we leave.a 5 star therapist no doubt, and the only one I will ever use.

I came to Lori a couple years ago when I found myself in a difficult life situation. I didn’t know what to expect as I had never been in therapy before, but I felt comfortable immediately. Since then, Lori has been a lifesaver. I’ve discovered so much and made several big life changes, all with her guidance and support, and I can definitely say that I am in a much better place because of her. Our meetings now have evolved a bit based on my life changes, which I have found to be tremendously helpful, since Lori offers a very diverse range of services that can accommodate anyone in any stage of his/her life. She is incredible and I can’t recommend her highly enough. One of the best decisions I have ever made in my life was walking into her office.

This was the first time I had ever sought out therapy; I found Lori through a friend; and I am so glad I did. I was able to get an appointment quickly and within 6 sessions; I gained the skills I needed to improve the issues I was dealing with. She is understanding, patience and most of all professional and discreet. I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone to help you resolve your issues quickly and effectively.

Lori truly cares about her clients and their well being. As a therapist she continues to build she her toolset with continued education, independent reading and training to help people process their issues and live life. A life with opportunity to thrive, one not held back by the trauma of the past. A life in which decisions are based upon the real issues not the fears which we all harbor. EMDR trained, she can help release the influence of our past. Many of us have experienced some form of post traumatic stress, with proper guidance we can be released from its power. Its not like you forget it happened, it just looses the stranglehold upon us. Her depth of life experiences combined with insight helps people awaken within themselves an awareness of options to live a better experience. I mean who doesnt want freedom from the controlling past to live the best life? She likes to say We arent broken even if it seems so to me. When given the tools and techniques to deal we all can live better. Thank you Lori.

Lori Underwood is incredibly insightful. She really looks at the whole situation and helps her clients see more clearly how to positively impact the change they want and need to make.
