I have been a client of Dr.Steven Byers for years.He isn’t on my HMO insurance plan. I prefer to pay a little more cost to gain his professional touch and his exceptional experience. One of his staff members introduced my wife and I to him, Aaron. Dr. Byers offices is in a House that is warm and friendly, never a intimidating or cold. I have never been hurt while under his care, like I experienced with other Dentist.l can relax when I go to Dr.Byers and even have a cold one after work!

Dr Byers office is the best dental office ever. Everyone is so nice and friendly. They accept insurance and are always accommodating to special requests.

As a physician I look carefully at where I plan to obtain my healthcare. I have been a patient of Dr. Steven Byers for around 15 years, which indicates how I feel about the quality of care and the level of service delivered by Dr. Byers and his team. But today they went above and beyond my expectations. I broke a tooth and they managed to squeeze me in even though Dr. Byers was about to leave on vacation. This further indicates why I’m very, very happy with my choice for my dental needs.

From the front desk (Ashley and Aaron) to the hygienist Allie, assistant (sorry I can’t recall her name; she just started full time there), to Dr. Omara, everyone was wonderful. The best dental experience I have ever had.

This is the best dental office in San Diego. The staff is professional and friendly at the same time.The dental work is done with the skill of a jeweler in a fast efficient way. Their hygienists do great work and keep your smile beautiful and healthy.They are happy to discuss the price of procedures in advance, accept insurance and credit cards.

Dr. Steven J. Buyers, DDS., was and is a very awesome dentist. He went and his staff, out of their way for me during the holiday of 2020. They came to the office on their day off just to help my emergency needs . He saved my teeth that I wanted out because of pain. I havent had teeth problems in a while. Its was about 2 weeks that I had this pain in my mouth on left side. I was pretty nervous about my visit today but as soon as I stepped in I felt more at ease. The staff, nurses and Dr Byers himself are fantastic!! Oh I just love their office building its so cooool! Now I can say Im not scared going to the dentist anymore. Best Dentist EVER!!

This is the funnest place to get your dental work. Very friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. Came on a cold and rainy day and was immediately transplanted to an alternate dental world where staff look happy at work and act like a team. I also appreciated the positive reinforcement. Zero judgment and all positivity.

I had a teeth cleaning when I visited Dr. Byers office today. I learned a lot about the status of my teeth and set a future appointment for additional work that needs to be done. All in all an excellent visit. I hardly recommend Dr. Byers and his staff.

If I could give ten stars I would!Recently I had a fractured back molar that became infected, and had hoped I’d have time to research dentists before it got too bad. Well that didn’t happen, and I woke up one morning with a fever and in total agony and knew it was an emergency.Amazingly they were able to get me in immediately to have the molar extracted.Everyone at the office was incredibly nice, and despite my pain they had me cracking up before and after the procedure. I was in and out in less than an hour, and even though one of the molar’s roots was pretty curved, they had no problem getting the tooth out in one piece without breaking it. I was very impressed. And I felt immediate relief!And the rates were less than I was expecting too, especially given the emergency nature of the appointment!I’ve been to many, many dentists in my life, and I have never been able to say that I’ve had a ‘great’ experience at any of them before. (‘Good’, yes, but not ‘great’ or ‘awesome’.) This was an *awesome* experience.I had no problems healing, and was able to easily follow their after-care directions.Seriously BEST DENTIST EVER. I live close to the office but no matter where I live in Southern California, I will always be back.Thank you so much everyone at Dr. Byers!!!

Office went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and at ease. My teeth feel EXCEPTIONALLY clean after Kathy cleaned them and my filling repairs went smoothly and painlessly.

Dr Byers is excellent as is his staff. There is always parking close by and they all give you the feeling that they really care. It shows thru! Worth the drive. I live in east county but I find it worth my travel time to see them. Have solved several problems for me!

Fantastic, caring office. Called regarding a temporary crown which had fallen off 2 hours after being placed. Responsible office (Hillcrest Dental) refused to work me in the next day which was unacceptable due to possibly of infection because of heart issues. I called Dr Byers office explaining my emergency & Aaron, the manager, gave me an appt 2 hours later. I waited approximately 15-20 minutes (they had to process my paperwork), then saw Nick, who was very friendly & informative, explaining each step. Unlike HD, they made sure my temp crown was set properly insuring it would not fall out again. I explained to Aaron how much trouble I had with HD getting my premeds, he took care of it immediately handing me a premeasured dose for my visit. I decided to switch dentists on the spot because this is the way patients should be treated & was ecstatic to get an appointment 1 week later I am even willing to pay for my visits in the event they dont accept my insurance, the difference between HD & this office is like night & day! The office itself is a beautifully remodeled Craftsman home decorated with tasteful art & decorations. They offer coffee, tea, cookies, a nice variety of magazines, toys, & very comfortable furniture. Very clean with a homey feel, it is someplace I dont mind waiting. The huge yard is decorated every holiday & everytime I drive by it puts a smile on my face 😁

I went once and I am sold. These people are family. Thank you Dr. Byers and employees for all that you do.
