When my fiancés computer got frozen updating to a new software we were told by Apple support that the only way to get the laptop working again was to completely wipe the computer. We had important files on the hard drive and couldn’t afford to lose them. We started calling around to data recovery places in San Diego. Most of them required to ship to a lab elsewhere and we were soft quoted for anywhere between $500-$3500. But then we found NerdsToGo. I called and set up a same day appointment to have Ben stop by. He resolved the issue in a couple of hours and we didn’t even have to buy an external hard drive to transfer the files over as he was able to find them and send them to iCloud. Do not pay what youre not quoted. Call customer serviceCustomer service is wonderful; however, pricing could be explained better by teach. The tech was a tad condescending. I doubt I would use this company again since my experience didnt go well, but Rachael went above and beyond to help correct the miss communication about the pricing. She also refunded the difference that was not quoted.

Ben was responsive, and spoken at a level I understood. His advice and recommendations were spot on. It was very important, because I was going live as I work from home. Thank you again and I highly recommend this company to anyone who is experiencing problems in the digital world.

I recently encountered a nasty blue screen of death boot loop that wouldnt allow me to get into Windows at all, even in safe mode. I went to nerdstogo for some assistance with my PC. All of the staff were very friendly and warm. Front desk explained the prices and gave me options. Ben, who worked on my PC was an absolute sweetie who explained every detail of whats wrong and what could have been wrong. They fixed my PC in less than three hours, I was able to pick it up same day. When I picked it up Ben went showed me the mistakes in the build and started it up.
