I bought a non-refundable dress that I wanted to wear to an event. I hadnt seen a tailor since high school prom, but didnt have any other options. Jasmine was flexible with scheduling and went above and beyond with the dress! She hemmed it, brought it in, and added padding as a courtesy. She was friendly and lovely and I decided to come back with some pants that needed hemming as well. As many other reviewers have noted, she was personable, gave me styling suggestions, and wanted to see pictures after our event. I wont see anyone else—shes the best!

My wife had a bridesmaids dress altered here and she looked stunning. The dress literally looked like it was made for her. We are celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary this year and she went back to Jasmine to have her original wedding dress altered. Will post updates!

Im so used to going into a tailor and getting my alterations done and thats it---but with Jasmine we conversed and talked about various things which I really liked. When I picked up my jumpsuit and pants, she remembered everything I had told her when I was getting them fitted. What an absolute angel! I wish Jasmine was in the Bay Area, where I live! She is not only a wonderful person, she did an absolutely perfect job on 6 pairs of my slacks! This is not the job that someone at a dry cleaners does.... she is a professional seamstress and her work is beyond anything I have ever seen.She was kind enough to hem the pants that I wore into her shop while I waited! I left two more for alterations and ended up bringing in 3 more when I returned to pick those up!I think that the best part of all is that she is such a kind and happy person. I’m in modeling when I’m not studying and my shoots require detailed clothes, so I needed a good tailor. It’s safe to say Jasmine is my new permanent tailor for my time here in San Diego. She works with you and makes sure she knows what you want to do. On top of that her prices are phenomenally great. Shes been patching up my jeans just how I like them. Where should I start. My daughters wedding was 9/20/2020 and we needed her dress in 3 weeks and needed alterations, needless to say the dress turned out STUNNING!!!!!! All due to the AMAZING SKILLED Seamstress. She is so KIND and attentive. The amound of beading on the dress and the TRANSFORMATION of the bottom of the dress, which was to long, Jasmine saw My Daughters vision of the dress and gave My Daughter her dream dress. Jasmine is skilled like no other. She is our NEW go to alterations. I have not been able to stop bragging to everyone. She did not over charge as we had called around prior to going here and I am SO GLAD we chose Alterations by Jasmine. If I had a way to add before and after pictures I would.. She is able to do regular everyday clothing as well as Military. I have a hard time fitting some clothing and now I dont have to worry. This place is 2 min from where we live. I needed alterations for my suit for a wedding and walked in. Lady owner, Jasmine, was the sweetest lady with a warm smile that greeted me. Quickly realized the sleeves and pants needed to be shorter, and overall I needed extra room for my legs and waist. It was done the next day, and I wasnt even in a rush. She also does all the dry cleaning. Easy, peezy, done, beautiful. Highly recommend this sweet local lady, and I love giving my business to small owners.

1/31/2020I have to say this was a great Alteration experience, I was in need of a tailor that would alter my suit before an important engagement on Sunday morning, it was 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. I called Alterations by Jasmine, and they were open, I explained my situation to her over the phone, she was very understanding and was kind enough to stay open beyond the closing time and assisted me with a very pleasant attitude. She took my measurements and began to work after about 40 minutes of good conversation, I was on my way with a perfectly fiitting suit. I m writing this review because she took the time to fit me in her schedule. I had tried others Tailors they were either closed or didnt have the time. I definitely recommend Alterations By Jasmine.

Miss Jasmine is absolutely AMAZING!!! I bought this dress online and loved it but I knew I would have to alter it some. The front was initially way too low so I bought some fabric to add to the front. I also needed the dress hemmed because I’m only 5ft and like most dresses they are made to fit super tall women. I also had the sleeves altered as well. She had my dress done with more than enough time for my event(my culinary sister’s wedding) and it was beautifully done! She is the sweetest thing and was very truthful about what would look good and what wouldn’t. She took her time with each appointment to make sure I was comfortable and liked the alterations, I would HIGHLY recommend Miss Jasmine and her services!
