This place is fine its just in a sketchy area so be careful and just watch your stuff, washing is 4.75 or 3.00 depending on machine and drying is .25 for five minutes

I would never! go back to this place.They are dishonest people, I paid for my laundry And the machine Did not work, when I went to the owner to tell about this instead of trying to fix the machine for me she called me a liar And she claim I didn’t pay, (She didn’t even check), after that she called a guy to threaten me to get out of the store instead of trying to make it a right.Those are dishonest people I will highly recommend you not to go there.This place is a joke Do yourself a favor and don’t go near them.They will take your money and then threaten you in violence in order for you to get out of their place.Those people are violent! and dishonest.

Small but clean. Has a tailoring service and a drop off laundry. Its also connected to the Deli next door (same owner) which makes good fresh food to order at a decent price. If you live in the Downtown area, you should check this place out. Staff is very friendly. Good service.

The facility itself was clean and the staff was friendly. It was attached to a convenience store so that was nice. There was a lot of homeless people and druggies in the entry and also using the facility so that was not awesome but not surprising.

Most of my clothes were stolen and the workers there were unwilling to show the full security camera tape. 2 Arabic/Middle Eastern women that work there were highly suspicious. They can’t dress so they needed it more than me. Keep an eye on them when you’re washing and drying your clothes

Gross on every level. Washed and dried my clothes on my own they smelled of urine. The homeless frequent this place i wouldnt advise anyone to go there and wash their clothes.

Definitely the best cleaners in the gaslamp area if you are from out of town... I always stop by when Im on long buisness trips.

The owners are some of the best people Ive met in California! This laundromat is clean and in a very convenient location. They also have a store connected to the laundromat they sell some of the best sandwiches! I cant wait to go back and buy another one!!!

Very rude and inconsiderate Ill never go there again. Definitely dont do your laundry there its expensive with no AC and its hot. I was there in the evening and he would hardly let me in. He says I have no single beers. I said I dont want any beer. Spending $50 later Im checking out and he says I annoy him and I didnt even talk to the idiot.

Coin only, $3.00 atm fee, quarters from the register.This establishment exploits the largely pedestrian clientele residing in transient lodgings and on the street nearby. Ill probably go the $5.00 in round trip trolley fare next time, and consider it a good value.To be fair, I did not try the sandwiches.

We wanted to wash about 25 pounds of laundry by ourselves, but then found out theres a service to get it washed, tried and folded (2 dollar per pound) and delivered to your hotel for 5 dollar. We picked up our stuff at the hard rock reception the next day and everything was perfect - thank you very much!

Great Landry service for a traveler. Was staying In San Diego for a few days and required some general washing. They did it all for a very reasonable price and dropped it off at the hotel for a small charge.

As far as laundromats go, this place is great. First of all, the laundromat is connected to a deli/convenience store that will sell you rolls of quarters ($10/each) and has freshly made snacks that are actually quite tasty. They even have fresh fruit and sandwiches made to order. Oh yeah, the laundry machines work great too and are reasonably priced. 😊👍

Wash and fold service for only $2 per pound when hotel wanted to charge me $15 a pound. Also if you are doing self service the machines are all super clean and staff is cleaning like every 20 minutes. They also do great alterations and it seems like a lot of commercial laundry services. Great place!!

Awesome cleaners with prompt service! Very fairly priced as well. I was visiting on a business trip with a large group and they even delivered the clean laundry for free to our hotel when our group dropped our laundry off on the same day. I will recommend them without hesitation to anyone coming to visit the San Diego area!

Best fluff and fold / wash and fold laundry service I have experienced. The picked up my clothing at the Omni Hotel and washed my clothing perfectly. All of my clothing came back looking bright and new. I dont know what there secret is but wow! Highly recommended 10/10. Dry cleaning service is top notch also. Great Job!

I enjoyed this place a lot. The washing machine and dryers were abundant and reasonably priced and clean. There were several serviceable washing machines and dryers. I usually rate lower if they have broken and unserviceable dryers. The convenience store attached to this laundromat is also great. I ordered a local sandwich while I cleaned my dirty laundry. The sandwich was good and the folks running the place are pleasant and professional. There is no change machine but the cashier clerk was available for change if you needed it. The routine of doing my laundry and order a good tasting sandwich made with premium cold cuts at a reasonable price is worth coming back to 4th ave cleaners if I’m in this town again. Recommend this place if you need to clean your laundry and have a bite to eat.

First class service. The wash and fold option is amazing you just drop off your clothes and they deliver them back to you. Smelling fresh looking brand new in beautiful bags with a ribbon on top. Ask for Jeremy hes the best!

Lost my leather jacket jeans last year and blamed it on me for dropping off too many orders at different times. I had a ticket for the jacket and they didn’t seemed to want to push back on the leather cleaners, otherwise dry cleaning was good

Just real bad customer service. You ask the guy at the counter for quarters and he never gives them to you, he just leaves them on the counter for you to pick up. And he never puts them near you; you have to slide them to you. Ive also seen the main lady that works here yell at customers if it gets too crowded. Their location is fine but thats not the be-all end-all of everything. Very arrogant.

This is a great local place to do laundry and get your alterations.. But, be careful of their machines - they are worn and not well maintained.. Typically, several machines are out of order and your nice shirt could look like this!! Attitude of personnel depends on the way the wind is blowing.. Also, you will encounter multiple homeless individuals as this is their central location to do their laundry.. Good Luck!

Was so easy! I needed clothes washed for my family of five traveling 10 days. Found this place and so many good reviews...I thought I would try it. They were very friendly when I dropped off my 22 lbs of laundry! Love that they deliver to hotels! Clothes were back to me earlier than promised and were delivered neatly in a large bag lined with tissue paper tied shut with ribbon. Clothes were folded and ready for me to put away! I am a happy mom of three!

Very convenient. They picked up my laundry at the hotel at 10am. Then they dropped it of by 6. Everything was washed great and folded. None of the articles were shrunk. I will definitely use again before we leave.

The drop off and pick up laundry service is amazing,! I highly recommended it. The staff gives great customer service and the dry cleaning service is the best in downtown or the hillcrest area.The food in the deli is made fresh everyday and is inexpensive and delicious.

Price scam. A guy who I assumed was homeless followed me in here off the street, but then proceeded to gesture for me to start weighing my clothes. I still have no idea if he worked there or was just a homeless guy wanting tips. So I ask him if two of my good pants can be hung to dry and he points toward a guy behind a sandwich counter. I ask the same question to sandwich counter guy who clearly has no idea what Im talking about. Finally a guy at yet another register seems to understand, so I leave my small load (less than 5 lbs.) of clothes with two pants to hang to dry. He tells me they need at least 4 hours regardless of all the postings that say 2-hour service. When I come back 4 hours later, they charge me $20 for 5 lbs. of laundry (apparently there is a 10 lbs., or $20 minimum charge that just now entered the conversation) and ALL of my items have been hung to dry (read: are still wet). So I carry my stack of wet pajamas and wet ratty college t-shirts the 8 blocks home by hand after being intentionally overcharged by double. Youve been warned.

Been using 4th Ave Cleaners for a couple of years now and even though they dont have all the fancy apps and stuff that the other services have, this is a GREAT service. On time, never any items missing, and responsive to issues. They have made a couple mistakes here and there but Alex, the owner, has always handled like a true professional and thats what makes me come back.If youre looking for a great laundry service, esp one that can do a great 24 hour turn around, this is IT!

Dropped of 12 pounds of clothes and one item to have hem put up. I left them there and picked up the next day. I did the wash and fold option and I am very happy with the service. $15 to put hem up on slacks and $24 for wash and fold. They did a great job and I would recommend them.

This is my go to place for wash and fold when Im staying in San Diego for work. Its convenient and they are always on time. My clothes comes back smelling and looming great. They do pick up and delivery but I have yet to use this service as I am able to drop off on my way to work and pick up on my way back to my hotel. At $2/lb its relatively inexpensive and saves me so much time as well as hassle sitting in a laundromat when my hotel doesnt have laundry on site.

Really great service. Fresh veggies were great to take out for snacks. Delivered the washing beautifully folded to the hotel early totally clean. Including all of my boys clothes (which were really dirty when dropped off). Highly recommended to visitors staying nearby.

Being on the road a lot its hard for me to say that a service or something truly impresses me. Today I have had that experience... from a freakin laundromat no less!These guys offer a wash and fold service for $2 a pound (10 lb minimum) and for $5 delivered it back to my hotel. When I came back to my hotel after work there was a nice white bag like you would get buying something at a nice retail store. A blue bow tied the handles together and a matching blue sheet of tissue paper cover my clothes underneath. They even had a packet of tea for me as a gift on top of the tissue paper. When I opened the bag and uncovered my clothes they were very neatly folded and the items were fully organized keeping the like items together, shirts on top, followed by my jeans and so on.Cant believe Im sitting here writing a glowing review of a laundry but believe me, if Im ever needing my laundry done while on the road in San Diego again, these guys will definitely get my business!

I had a wardrobe emergency on my way to an event The zipper on my dress came off the track. In a panic, I found this location. The lady was super sweet and came to my rescue. She repaired the zipper in 5 mins while I waited. Thank you !

Slightly sketchy, and felt mildly uncomfortable while I was washing my clothes.The attendant was behind a Plexiglas window partition and while I first wondered why, I soon realized.Theres a convenience store next door which will convert bills to change for you to use the machines. They also sell soap, but it is astronomically priced. Youre better off to bring your own or buy it somewhere else.The wash cycle took 30 minutes and costed $3.00. The dryer costed $0.25 for 10 minutes and I found that 40 minutes ($2.00) was sufficient to dry one full load of clothes.

Global travel creates a laundry nightmare.I dropped off my entire clothing supply, bar what I was wearing, and had it delivered back at the hotel, 6 hours later. A saving of $157 on hotel rates.It was folded and packaged very nicely.Great service. Thank you.

Very nice and friendly people and they do a great job. Prices are a little steep but worth it.

Machines work great and a decent price. Quarters are easy to get at the bodega next door. Always a pleasant experience thats usually quite fast.

Glad I found this place, staff was less than friendly but because of the customers I understand why, ample washers and dryers, clean environment, adjoining store so can get detergent and other things right next door

I walk a 1/2 a mile to get my laundry done and no one showed up. I waited for 30 minutes and the laundry lady was no where to be found.The owner just stood there with a fun expression.

After a 10 day journey that started in San Francisco, it was a relief to find this location in Gaslamp District and a very short walk from our hotel (Marriot Courtyard Gaslamp). I met with the owner who was a very sweet lady and she helped me weigh the clothes and offered to deliver to hotel too. We dropped off the dirty laundry at approx 10am. But everything was folded neatly and packaged in a tidy white bag with a nice blue bow, ready in the hotel lobby before 6pm. Top marks for this outlet - great service and very reasonable cost. A very happy customer remembers you from Dubai!

Dry cleaned a great job on my dress shirts, but missed a spot on one. They offered to make it right without argument

We called ahead and verified $2/lb wash & fold, dropped off our laundry, returned 4-hrs later to pickup and were charged $20 + tax for 7 lbs of laundry. Only then did they tell us of the 10-pound minimum. A disappointment.
