The staff is great .They keep everything running smooth and painless. Jason is a little hard but hes in charge so he has to be tough. Dave is the nice guy . Hes the pushover on that concession stand. Ask for him.

Lake Miramar with the provided facilities is an ideal site to visit. Tour around the lake is 7.5 km. You can either use the road or the trail running parallel. Picnic areas are scattered around the lake with picnic tables, waste bins and mobile toilets. Unfortunately the toilet I checked out was in a very bad condition and impossible to use. If the administration can not keep these facilities clean it would be better to close them. Boat rental is possible. Concession is small but works efficiently. Cars are permitted only until a certain point.

Full stocked little convenience drink, fishing and boat rental office. The big guy running it is a has an abrasive personality with self awareness of it.

The best 5 miles walk in the morning. You need to be there before 730 am to find the parking.

Clean with all the basics for visiting the lake. Fishing Tackle, bait, snacks, rental bikes and rental boats. Including outboard powered aluminum boats. It was good talking with Jason when we visited. He was very helpful.

This was a very nice lake nesseled im a community. Lake was clean, we took our kayaks and launched them at the launch ramp. There was a small fee to fish and launch. If concession is closed or busy they have a outside pay and go station, makes it very easy to get on the water. This is a reservoir so there is no body contact with waterThey have rentals for kayaks, fishing boats, paddle boatsThere is a hiking trails and bike paths. Very clean, cute ducks.

Great place for walks in the morning and scenic views of San Diego are nice.

Good bass fishing usually starting in mid to late March. I’ve had the best luck with purple Robo worms and drop shot. If you don’t want the challenge of actual fishing, you can use shiners. They sell them at the shop but best to bring your own bucket to save $5. Great walking paths either on the paved road or on the dirt, close to the lake.

Rented a motor boat. They were nice. Mid-day, Memorial Day. Just waited a little bit for one to come in....

This is a beautiful and scenic walk or bike around the lake. Its almost 5 miles around so bring enough water for the journey
