Andrew, the general contractor, was referred to us by one of my good friends who just completed a complete kitchen remodel with them. Since their kitchen came out really nice we decided to give them a try. We ended up hiring Andrew to have some work done in the house include the kitchen and all three bathrooms in the house.At the same time we also received four estimates from other contractors and the last one to meet was Andrew. He knew exactly what to do, gave us a fair estimate and we couldnt be happier. For the kitchen they installed creamy glossy prefabricated cabinets, quartz counter top and also tile back splash.The bathrooms are beautiful! Andrews craft worker Ramzan did an amazing job on subway tile walls and pebbles shower floor. Our new kitchen remodel is great and totally changed the look of the house. Everything flow well together. We paid exactly what the estimate said with no hidden cost! There was no mess and clean up was thorough.There is no doubt we will use them again!

We hired Andrews team to have our kitchen with laundry room remodeled and we got an extremely pleasant experience! An entire work was done on time and on budget! His team was extremely polite, work efficient and did everything possible to control dust and trash.We where able to continue living in our house during the entire project. The quality of the work was top notch, done the way we requested with no major problems. Weve had the use of our kitchen and laundry for a couple of month now and it is wonderful, we couldnt be more pleased!Highly recommend Andrews team for whatever project you have in mind.

Initial conversations with Andrew were promising and pleasant. He sounded like he knew what and how needed to be done. He knew about all challenges of the project and was ready to address them all (us living in the house during remodeling was one of them). Unfortunately, working with Andrew was a very stressful and unpleasant experience. He doesnt know how to treat customers, gets very offensive, rude. His workers are unprofessional, lazy, and have to be supervised by the customer at all times, otherwise work needs to be redone or fixed. Andrew was not on the project regularly and sometimes it took 3-4 days before he came to the house to check on the progress. As a result the project was stretched for an unnecessary few more weeks. One of Andrews responses about poor scheduling jobs: some weeks the workers worked 2 days, some 1.5 day/week, he said: Im a freelancer, and dont have any commitment to have 8 hours daily on your project. He didnt care that his workers didnt clean after the day of work, and left us for days (weekends included) in the middle of an unnecessary mess. We were very concerned about quality of the floor installation and he was trying to convince us that its standard and the floor will settle in a couple of weeks, When almost all the floor was installed ( a small area in the living room was left to finish) and we asked him the check the quality of the installation before installing the floorboard, Andrew announced to us the he is stopping the project (after 6 weeks of work) and will send us a new quote to redo the floor! There was no way we would spend more time and money and have him and his workers to do that. Just because we were exhausted physically and mentally by Andrew, we asked him to finish the project. We have a jumping floor all over the house which will be a bad reminder of this contractor. Dont wish this on anyone! Stay away from hiring Andrew and Ucon Design and Remodeling.

Our family is so happy that we selected this company for our condo renovation. Andrew became not only our contractor but a friend. Andrew takes pride in his work and it shows. Im a perfectionist who is pretty much difficult to please but Andrew really came through for us! There were certain details that we had no vision for what we really wanted, The creative ideas and finishing touches that Andrew recommended resulted in a more beautiful final product than we ever expected. He also recommended that we install a stainless hood instead of a microwave hood over our gas range and we couldnt be happier with the finished look of our kitchen.Andrews team did a high quality work, especially the tile work by Ramzan in the kitchen and bathroom. Were not even sure how they were able to cut the tiles around the crown molding like they did.All we have wanted to do since the renovation is invite friends over to come and enjoy it with us. If you decide to use Andrew and his team for your project, Im certain that you will be satisfied both with his personal attention to detail and your new home.

Our family lives in the house that was built in60s and has two bedroom and one bath. Our family is about to expand, so we decided that its about time for us to add our master bedroom and bath. We came to find out that to find a good reliable general contractor is not easy at all! Long story short we interviewed more than 10 different contractors all highly recommended, some from friends and some from online research.Choosing Andrew and his contractors was really really great thing we did, they held our hands from architectural and engineering all the way to meet and spend a lot of time with us choosing tile, vanity and all the small details, which there was a lot!The guys worked everyday starting from 8am till 5 pm, were very polite and easy to communicate with. And most importantly they were very professional and great attention to details, Ramzan and Peter did an excellend work on tiling and on complete elecrician remodeling.In every construction project theres some unexpected issues, especially room addition project, but Andrews team helped us going through those hick ups very smoothly.We are very happy with everything!

I know most things are a matter of preference, but truthfully, I cant even imagine anyone could regret hiring Andrews crew!From our very first meeting, Andrew was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful at the same time. Andrew did a fantastic job on my 1970s house in San Diego. We had a leak in our master bath that had caused mold issues in the bathroom, sauna and walk in wardrobe. After the mold remediation the house was left in a complete state.I interviewed about eight different contractors but decided to go with Andrews team. I live overseas, so this was a bit challenging for me to do remotely. Andrews estimate went into so much detail that it really gave me confidence that they would be able to handle the task.During the project Andrews were very accommodating, even skyping with me at odd hours to make sure I was happy with their work.I cannot recommend Andrews ompany enough, and intend to go back to them in the future when we do a major remodel on the guest wing of our house.
