Good place to have body work, painting, and headlight restoration. Bought a used car and they fixed up the dents and did an amazing job painting it. Quality is great and company has good customer service

Do not use this place! I just had them replace and paint the front bumper. I also had them repaint the hood. There are drips coming off of the hood everywhere. Some of the drips were so big that they connected to the car frame under under the hood so when I opened the hood the paint broke apart. There are bubbles, waves and want looks like sand all over the place. These are all obvious. You do not have to look closely. There was a big part missing under the car that makes up half of the wheel well. They said they would have it done the same day, 3 days later they finally said it was ready. What a joke. It’s hard to take pictures on a car with black paint, but as you can see in the picture the paint jog was incredibly bad. Do not use Zooks Earl Scheib Autobody and Paint!

You get what you pay for here, theres no free ride, as it were. The paint came out great, and was exactly as they described it would be. The prep work was pretty minimal though so there are a lot of spots where the job wasnt amazing. If you want perfection, then go somewhere and pay lots more money. Dont be unhappy if you get B+ work for a low price.

Just got my 99 Tacoma painted here last week. WOW! looks like a brand new truck! Ray was meticulous about the details. The paint looks perfect. But beyond that, the entire exterior of the truck was detailed: Chrome polished, all black surfaces Armor alld, etc. I do my homework. Ray beat the best quote I had gotten elsewhere by hundreds of dollars. If you want a great paint job at an excellent price, this is the place to go. I have two buddies that are going to go there since theyve seen my truck!

I have a difficult time even giving it one star. A week ago the manager verbally quoted me $536 to do the repair on my running boards yesterday when I took it in to get the job done he charged me $650. Do not get a verbal quote without getting it in writing immediately! I will never go back to him again

This shop is excellent to work with. I came in to have my car painted with the cheapest paint job possible and had very low expectations. I got a very nice paint job, body work, and a 3 year warranty for a good price and it turned out great. No overspray or orange peel. I would definitely come in again if I was looking for a economical paint job.

These guys have pay within 100 days no credit check. But its a scam they do credit check you and the payments are for 12 months not 100 days. This is the scam they use to get you in the door.

Most important thing: these guys are trustworthy, which is something that any customer needs with auto shops. I could write a glowing review that filled the allowed character space, but then it would be too long and no one would read it--which would be completely counterproductive. Instead, let me just say that the team over at Earl Scheib is incredible. My cars front and rear bumpers were damaged in a hit and run, but Earl Scheib took the car and repaired it better than I had ever imagined would be possible. The paint colors matched exactly, the dent, scrapes, and rust spots were gone, and all in all, the car looked better than it ever had before! Not only did the guys exceed my expectations, but they went above and beyond the job requirements and replaced the entire front fender, all for a fair and reasonable price! Justin is the man, and the guys in the shop do the best work for the lowest cost hands down. They saved me over a thousand dollars in comparison to other body shops in town, and I will definitely be going there again should I need any other body work done. This review is way over due but I figured better late than never.The short version: If you need a good paint job but dont want to spend more than $2,000 then go here. The guy running this place ( Justin ), is a fantastic example of a person that actually takes pride in the work they do and you even get the sense that he enjoys it. You can tell this guy takes pride in his business and his team that he works with. He is extremely polite, always made the time to answer my questions and he was always honest and straight forward.I had purchased a 1994 Mazda Rx-7 that I was looking to flip. It was mechanically in excellent condition, interior was great but the body was a complete mess. It had some rust spots that needed to be dealt with, dings all over, and one very severe dent that needed to be pulled.I had taken this car to over five different shops and received estimates and non of them were less than 5k. I looked Zooks Earl Scheib up on Google, read their good reviews, and decided to take it over for Justin to look at and give me an estimate. He gave me an estimate for less than 2k and my jaw dropped.Being a big believer in you get what you pay for, I was skeptical about his estimate and the quality I would be getting. Justin was very honest and explained that I would not be getting a 5k+, show room shine paint job, but that I would be getting a paint job that I would be happy with, got the job done and would give me a much higher likely hood of selling the car. I decided to pull the trigger and allow Zooks to do the work.They did all the work in 5 days where everyone else has given me estimates of 2 weeks - 3 months. When I went back in to pick up the car I was blown away by the great job his crew did. No it was not perfect, yes there was some over spray in areas but for the price I paid and the results that stood before me - I was more than happy. Please understand that I am a real car enthusiast and I have been flipping cars for over ten years. What that means is that I have a critical eye when it comes to paint & body work - the job Justin and his team did exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds.Any time I need any of my vehicles to be painted they will go here. As for the car they painted... I was able to sell the vehicle in less than a week and had over a dozen individuals lined up ready to pay me my asking price.

Came in without an appointment to have a minor scratch quoted. I told him it was a rental I was worried about getting gouged upon returning it. Brandon at the desk checked it out himself right away, and then took care of it FOR FREE! Clearly the kind of folks that are willing to work with you, and care about their reputation. Cant overstate how good it felt to have that weight lifted off my shoulders. Highly reccomend!

We had our 97 Odyssey painted and were so happy with it that we also had our 99 Odyssey done. Both cars had badly sun-faded paint, so scratches and dings, and looked OLD. Ray met us in the lot, discussed the process, offered us a fair price, and when he was done its as if we have brand new cars! We are tremendously happy! Thank you, Ray! And thank you Zooks!

Work was shoddy, job was never completed, owner actually lied to my face and wasted my time. Hindsight-- I would have paid much more to support an ethical business practice and get the job done right.. or done at all. These guys stopped short! I dont recommend taking any vehicle of value there. I loved the workers who were helping me at the beginning and but felt completely taken advantage of and creeped-out after dealing with the owner. Nearly $600 and they wont complete the last part of the job that probably costs them $20 in labor (Im supplying the non-returnable part!) What a disappointment.

I talked with Mitch about getting my bumper repainted there were a a few blemishes on my paint job from 3 years ago and he said that he would repaint the whole car for me since I was such a good customer. I have had a few cars painted at their shop and I Im satisfied with just about every one of them. It is a budget minded shop and you arent going to get a $5,000 paint job for $500. but it definitely looks a lot better than what you do pay for. You wont find a better deal in San Diego. Mario, the detailer, was very helpful in working with my car and seeing that my needs were met. Its a great team over there and I wouldnt hesitate to bring any of my other cars in to be painted. (teen age daughter ready to start driving)

I just got my old Nissan Sentra a facelift! Before, the paint was chipping away and what used to be dark grey paint was quickly fading and becoming white! Granted I shouldve taken better care of my car, but I cant help that I park outside all day. I brought it here and Justin was able to hook me up with a great deal and my car looks brand new now!

Got about 8 estimates and zooks was the best by far. Also most places told me at least 4 days for the body work and zooks did it in 1. I was very skeptical at first because the price seemed too good to be true but the car came out amazing. I had a dent and chipped paint on the hood and a car slammed into my front left panel. They fixed it all quickly and a very good price. They also said their work is guaranteed, i believe lifetime guarantee if Im not mistaken. Fyi if u pay with card they charge a fee so cash is best.

If the only concern is a cheap paint job and quality does not matter, than this is a place for you. Becareful dealing with these guys as they dont care about your car but rather the money. Look at the cars outside before making the decision. The packages descriptions are a joke as you will be getting the amount of coats the painter is feeling at the moment (and maybe some freebies of dirt and contaminants). No consistency or quality what so ever.
