Lots of room for improvement. The main person looks pretty hard core but a bit too much to the level where he forgets he has to teach people about his expertise topic; tinting. The work is good so far one week later but there are a couple of blemishes; in the tint theres some debris and one of the headlights PPF, paint protection film, looks like it may peel off in the future. Not a picky person and as long as it doesnt fall off and does its job Im happy but Im not sure at this moment. They would definitely be an option to use again especially since they are very fast at what they do but I know that I would shop around for a better option if possible. Cheers!

Ive taken 3 new cars to Scott at Tint world over the past 6 years and each time, his team has done a phenomenal job. Im very picky about who I let touch my cars but this is one shop I trust. I used Tint World about a month ago. They tinted my front two windows and were very knowledgeable in their options and were professional. Almost a month has gone by and my passenger window is bubbling. I never rolled down the windows during the sealing time and have never washed the windows as well. Yesterday I called to make an appointment over the weekend to have this fixed under their warranty. I asked when they had time for me and was told that they were pretty busy but to come in at noon Saturday and they will get it fixed. I came in today at noon and was told that they were too busy over the weekend to get to my car and to come in next weekend. This is disappointing because I will now have to travel out of my way to tint world three times for my windows to be tinted. I wish they would have scheduled an appointment for me yesterday so that we wouldn’t run into this problem. I was told to just come in the morning next Saturday but I have learned my lesson and insisted on making an appointment which has now been scheduled.** EDIT - I am now updating this review to 4 stars. They got me in and out in an hour with my new appointment. They repaired the small bubbles in my tint and it should be as good as new. They have a lifetime warranty so if you are worried about a company not doing a good job, these guys will make it right. Thank you tint world **

These dudes at tint world know there stuff. Awesome knowledgeable tinters. Friendly staff, fast professional work. When you go in at first to get info, Scott I think his name is really fine details each of all the tints offered. Shows exactly what he will put on the car depending on what you go with. If there is something you want to get done and it’s cheaper else where he will be honest, tell you, so you save money not waste it. You pay extra for quality work, good service. I had a window visor done on my 2013 wrx hatch. It was small simple but the overall end product was on point

Got my 2021 mazda3 tinted by them and love the results! They did an amazing job and super friendly. Car looks so much better and really helps with keeping the car cool on hot days.

They were very friendly. Accommodated me on a last minute appointment before a long road trip. They did a good job with tint. I’m reducing two stars because - when I checked in i asked the staff at the front desk for help to select the percentage of tint and I specified that I was looking to make sure it was maximum allowed within the legal limits in California. And I believed that’s what I was getting. But when I went by later to collect the car at the end of the day I was told by the employee at the desk that life time warranty doesn’t extend to law enforcement action. And I was then told that the tint applied was not within the legal limits in California. I concede I could have done better research into the tint laws but it’s reasonable to expect a store named tint world to be familiar with the same. And I wasn’t warned that they were unsure of the laws.

They did a wonderful job on the tint. However they returned my car with a stained seat. I returned to ask about the stain only to be told they were not responsible. I’ll say that my attitude wasn’t the greatest. But the owner( if in fact he was) didn’t have the greatest attitude either. My point is I’d expect my vehicle to be returned to in same condition as it was before the service. I’ll take the blame for my attitude. The owner should’ve took the blame for the stained seat.

Took my car here hoping to lower the inside temperature. I got 70% put on the front windows (which is as low as you can go and still be legal) and it feels hotter now than it was before it was tinted. That was a waste of $300.

I do not write Google reviews often, but I sincerely believe the owner of this business needs to reconsider. The prices they offer are ludicrous. You can argue the prices are due to the skilled labor and film quality used, but I had gotten a quote from Automotive Image for the same job with the same quality film (not shade of film %) for $60 USD less than this shop charges. The margins this shop operates on are not consumer friendly. While sitting in the waiting area during my visit last week, you can hear the gentleman at the front desk trying to educate customers on the process of their work and the quality of film which is a plus (just about the only plus) with occasionally trying to up sell. With a strong automotive industry in Southern California, there are a plethora of better options than coming here to waste your money.

Took wifes car in for tint removal and to have new tint put on. Was done same day and looks amazing. Wife is happy how much sun and heat the tint keeps off the baby. Upon returning home I noticed the baby mirror was broken that goes on the rear headrest. Contacted the owner Jay and without hesitation he asked for the brand and had 2 brand new ones shipped to our house. Amazing service and even better customer care.

Ive been here a few times now and Ive had a great experience each time. The ceramic tint on the windows definitely block out a lot of the heat and Im super happy with the job theyve done.This particular review is for my past experience over the weekend. Right before thanksgiving, my front driver side window was smashed into. Fortunately because of my tint film, the window kept most of its shape and only a small hole was created. Without the tint holding the window up, Im sure the entire window would have been smashed into, and fortunately for me nothing was taken. Once I got my window replaced the day after Thanksgiving, Scott at Tint World said to take it over. They replaced the tint for me within an hour and did it for me at no charge!This type of service and professionalism is why Ill keep coming back to them. Great value and exceptional service! This is probably the 8th car ive taken to tint world. i got the new i8 and was so excited to drive it i forgot about my appt to get the clear bra. these guys were super patient with me making new appt times for me that i kept forgetting about. long story short is that about 2yrs passed and since then my beloved wife smashed my windshield leaving me with no tint. these guys helped me out on the tint even though it has been so long. even if i had a bugatti i would bring my car here strongly recommend to anyone. fast service too this was done the same day i came in almost begging for help.

Windows came out great. Didnt appreciate them leaving my car on the whole time with the AC on blast while they did it. But definitely would still recommend.

I had my side windows done the first time The job turns out great. They explained the benefits of ceramic tint and how showed me how much heat it blocks out on their display against non ceramic tint. The difference was day and night. After driving around for few weeks and loving the side window tint, I remembered a lot of the customer there were getting their front windshield tinted, so I want back for a clear ceramic tint along with a top sun visor. Thanks Tint World, driving experience will not the same again, the tint not only blocks out the heat but also blocks out the glares in the day and at night with on coming traffics.

I do suntek cxp here. They finish the job quick and give a good price for it. They also do me favor to give me extra film for my diy purpose.

I went with their highest end ceramic film NanoFlex including the windshield. Not only the job was flawless, now I don’t feel anymore heat coming in my car. Love how my STi turned out, I went with their two layer ceramic film PanaFlex as recommended as best bang for the bucks. I have sensitive skins just don’t mix well with the sun. After the tint, I don’t feel any heat while I drive anymore. Highly recommend tint world to anyone! Thanks guys

Very busy shop, I was able to get in within 48 hours with an appointment. They have several different types of ceramic and I picked the highest one. The heat blockage is day and night. My car feels like at least 20 degrees cooler now.

Few of my friends and my sister got their cars done here and was highly recommended. I was told that they have a variety of films so I went in, forgot the person’s name that helped me but he was very professional and went over all different materials. I ended up getting the 2 layer ceramic from Panaflex. Not only it looks amazing but the most important part is the high heat and UV rejection for my two kids in the back. We do a lot of driving’s and now the sun doesn’t bother them anymore. Thanks guys I will bring my wife’s car in soon for the same treatment :)

The installer cut my ac/heating duct and installed my amp not according per my instructions. Scott is a good guy; the installer is not as professional as advertised. Nor were my ground wires attached safely. I had to remove my drivers seat and file down the paint to bare metal, and the direct ground under the hood to bare metal myself. Do your job right the first time!

Professional and honest! Icing on the cake, service was fast! I was recommended to this shop by a friend. Made a drive all the way from North Orange County. They pulled my car in right away and thoroughly walked me through my options. Although it looked fairly busy (all of the bays were occupied) I was in and out in less than 2 hours (its been a few months, couldve been just one hour to be honest). Ive never been to a tint shop that provided reminder stickers on the window buttons. I hate to admit how much they came in handy lol. Its been about 5 months, California has had its range of weather and tint still looks great! No ripples, no bubbles! Highly recommend!

I dont have enough good things to say about this shop. they did a great job on my car and then months later after my car had been broken into and they replace one of my window tint for free. You earned me as a customer for life!

I called around to multiple places and they were either too expensive or didn’t provide many options. Tint world had a few options and also allowed me to spend within my budget. I went in and set up an appointment for the next day. Went to get my car windows tinted at 3:30 and I was out around 4. I’ve had previous car windows tinted and I have to say that was the quickest I’ve ever seen it completed. There were also no bubbles and the tint was placed on flawlessly.

Tint World is the one stop shop for pretty much any auto need. Scott and his staff are great people. They do an outstanding job on everything they do. Most recently I had them install new headlights and HID bulbs on my truck and blackout the tail lights. All of it came out great. I’ve had cars tinted there as well and the tint on them has held up like new throughout the years. Really goes to show the quality of the installation and film used. This shop does it all! I have an overland/off-road truck build that they have helped me with extensively. I’ve had suspension work, arb compressor install, brakes, custom fabrication and most recently a ceramic clear windshield tint that has helped cut down in the heat in the truck tremendously! I went here to get my 2002 Honda Accord sedan tinted. While in the waiting room I actually talked to the lady at the front desk majority of the time about cars. When they were finished, there was no bubbles and the tint was amazing ! When i have people in the back seat i cant see them at all, almost like a limo. Also during sunny days the tint actually does also help sort of cool down the car & lower the intensity of the rays from the sun. Its been a little over 2 years and my tint is still in great condition ! Definitely going here again when i get a new car sometime in the future :)

This place not only pealed out with my car to take it to the back of thier shop, but when I addressed it; the front desk guy replied as well I didnt see it; even a customer also waiting in the waiting area said they must be in a hurry to get your car in the shop! Im not only making a complaint on google... There was not even an applogize or even Im sorry that happened. Instead it was, You can go somewhere else..... Who does that!!!! I brought my 1999 Mazda miata here to be tinted. I got 5% all the way around and the visor strip. I wouldnt get anything but the ceramic they offer, it blocks out heat brilliantly! Definitely worth the small extra cost. I cannot say enough great things about the staff there. Scott is the man, he made me feel very welcome from the first time I called his phone. His team was very quick, helped me immediately, and their shop is very nice. Scott handed me the PlayStation controller and let me play games/watch Netflix, whatever i desired while I waited for the tint. And at the end, he gave me a great deal! Very knowledgeable and friendly place!

I am beyond grateful to have worked with Scott and the whole tint world team. They are the real deal. I just bought a brand new Tesla Model X and was looking to get paint protection film, powder coated wheels, painted calipers and carbon fiber chrome delete. I called every shop from laguna beach all the way to downtown San Diego (over 20+ shops) to discuss experience & pricing for all the services needed. **When you get paint protection film over the whole car you really want an experienced professional installer and price shouldnt be the main factor**.All I can say is WOW! They hit the nail on the head with respect to experience, customer service and pricing. The car looks amazing! Trust me, this is where you want to go to get upgraded services done on your car, I spent over 15+ hours calling around and tint world takes the cake. Id refer everyone and their mother to this spot. They have my seal of approval.

When I called I felt as if I was being secondary to them playing on their phone. It was by far the worst customer service Ive received in a long time. Almost worse than a doctors office. Ill never get my windows done here after that. Id rather do them myself with crappy tint than pay them my hard earned money. Very disappointing for an international chain.

Great experience. Friendly staff and quality service. Was a bit worried at first because I saw what appeared to be air bubbles when I took the car home, but they went away the next day as the car got some sun exposure. Only complaint is that they didnt have displays of what the tints look like. Wish I would have gone even darker than I did on the driver and passenger windows.
