Highly recommend for excellent customer service and knowable, skilled, friendly staff. My Cadillac SRX died and the dealer couldnt get me in for a week. I called European Autocare and spoke directly with the owner, George. He was so understanding and said I could come in right away -- even though it was close to closing time. Within minutes my issue was diagnosed, quoted, fixed and paid. Ive spent most of my life with car-guys and George and his team are excellent. You can tell a good service place by the cars inside -- lots of expensive car owners trust George as well.

They changed the oil on my Maserati. I came in with an oil leak and it turned out that the oil filter was not tight enough (unrelated to them) and so they removed the filter, cleaned a little around and then put the new filter I gave them and oil I gave them also. The charge? $108 - why? because as the lady said, its a Maserati. Now on my car specifically, the Oil filter is SUPER accessible and came out in 2 seconds because it was already slightly lose. Their effort to do the oil change was negligible but they charged like if it had been a major oil change and with their oil and filter supplied - which they didnt. Took them in all no more than 1/2hr to do the job. No reason at all to charge that much, none, except for taking advantage.

George took care of my long punch list of items with my 04 Porsche Boxster. IMS, clutch, and flywheel were done at a fair price along with other items to get the car in tip top shape. I will be returning for all of my Porsche maintenance.

Very Happy with European Autocare - again!!!!!Brought my car in and George and his crew provided me with above and beyond service. This has been my experience every since they bought the business from previous owner, which has been several years. Ive never had any issues with the service or the cheerful, knowledgeable, helpful staff. My Subaru is Very Happy with GeorgeMy Subaru is 20 years old, and for quite a few years shes received the very best care available from George and his team. I know Subaru is not a European make of car, but George always has the correct parts or can easily get them and he & his team know exactly how to install them. The office staff and the whole team are always very nice to work with and Ill keep bringing my Subaru to European Autocare for many more years to come!!

I had my car towed there when it broke down last week. George told me the next day that there was a hole in my engine and the whole thing needed to be replaced ($3900). Also, my car sat there for 3 days waiting for him to send me an estimate which he never did.So since he still hadnt emailed the estimate 3 days later and I was in a rush to get my car fixed, I had it towed elsewhere. Turns out, theres no hole in the engine. Its a valve that needs replaced. $150 later my car is running fine. This shop should be closed down; thats criminal that he was going to charge me almost 4k to replace a perfectly good engine.Get a second opinion before you let this place work on your car!

The owner and mechanics have misdiagnosed my car problems twice. First brakes needing complete replacementAnd second needing new front wheel bearings. I always get 2nd opinions and glad I do. Both times saved over 500.00 dollars. Watch out for businesses on this street, especially if youre a woman. High priced and not that knowledgeable. FutureAuto is a racket, PetesLandrover decent mechanic just not a good businessman. Needs customer service skills badly.Shop around, get 2nd opinions.

We have gone to European Autocare and Japanese Autocare for years. The Tadros family ALWAYS does a great job at estimating, servicing, and repairing our vehicles. They have also kept us aware of how the work is progressing along the way. Very fair prices, very nice people, and first class service - ALWAYS. They get my highest personal recommendation.

Do not trust these people. When I got my car back from them, it appears to have been taken for joyriding over the weekend. The rear seats were filthy, there was food in the car, and a rat had gotten inside and caused damage to the seats, floor, and seatbelts. The only reason this happened in the first place is that they refused to answer my calls asking if their basic battery assessment job was done the next day, which I can only assume was so they could continue enjoying my car. Furthermore, the assessment they did appears to be fraudulent. They said that 2 of my battery cells were corrupted and that corrosion was present on the battery terminals and starter. I had another company test the health of the battery, and it showed that it is in perfect health. Furthermore, there is no corrosion present. European Autocare wanted to charge $165 to remove the corrosion, which anyone can do for free in 15 minutes at home with vinegar and half a brain. The other companys people told me similar experiences about how George, the person at European Automotive who provided the inaccurate assessment, has consistently provided questionable reports about battery health that contradict other their assessments. George and the others at European Autocare provided the single worst experience possible. They represent everything bad about auto repair shops.

All I can say is thank you thank you thank you! They saved me money, time and buying a whole new car! I was going to the dealership for repairs before I was recommended this place. I recently had a big repair that would of cost me over 5x the price at the dealership. Also, the dealership tried to encourage to buy a new car. But I towed my car through AAA, and was recommended this place by the driver. Best decision I made to listen to him. They fixed my car, saved me tons of money and tons of tears. My car hasnt had a problem since. It runs like new. Never going back to a dealer or another mechanic again!

Ive been customer for over 5 years now. My car is 15 years old but thankfully to their expertise, knowledge and diligence my car is so well taken care of. I rely on Georges expertise and trust his opinion on what needs to be done and how soon. Dealing with some other car shops or corporate chain auto places left me feeling like I was taken to the cleaners. So, Ive come to mistrust their motivations. But, European Autocare is so dependable and very reasonable too. George is always very accommodating, timely, reliable, and trustworthy. Even after I moved to another area in SD, I still take my car to European Autocare because I trust their expertise and they are all a pleasure to do business with.

Id pass on these guys....they installed the incorect timing belt on my Fiat 500. the one had 1 tooth extra. Told me I could drive it like that..i didnt take it home. Told me it was not an interference engine. ALL FALSE!!They were trying to clear engine codes while I was there...lucky i seen them on the other side of the shop. I have had transmission issues and axle boot issues a week after the repair.....kinda like they were mad at having to redo the work they did wrong...and they were messing with my car.I now take it elsewhere for repairs.

I took my van to Gearge a couple of years ago for the first time. He checked it out and gave me a diagnosis and an estimate. I used to work as a mechanic in a Chevy and Nissan dealership, so I was positive that he was being honest. He quoted me a fair price, but one I could not afford at the time. I told him that I would bring it in later on and asked how much I owed him for the diagnosis and he said that it was complimentary. After I insisted on paying something for his time, he said that he would much rather have a customer who brings his cars in over time than the little that he could charge for the diagnosis. I have looked far and wide and have rarely seen the amazing combination of a fair and honest and extremely capable mechanic. I would always recommend George and European Autocare to my friends and family.

What great service!!! As a local business owner, customer service is paramount for me, and George Tadros did not disappoint! When my passenger side mirror back plate got knocked off, my peripheral camera, blinker, and collision sensor were non-functional. I took the car to BMW of Vista and they quoted me $2500 for a new mirror as they assured me that this mirror could not be fixed (even though the mirror had no physical damage to it). I decided to try European Autocare from a referral of an employee, and on the first attempt they got my mirror blinker to work. George said hed look further into the situation, and today in less than two hours they had all components working again! They saved me $2200!!! Many thanks to George, I highly recommend him and his team!

I think that it is most telling in how George has made it right when things didnt go well. I had him put in an alternator when mine died and we were stranded. The alternator he put in failed after about 9 months. My normal shop who did the swap actually praised his work, and assured me that it was just a bad part. When I contacted him, George went above and beyond by digging into his own pocket to reimburse me for the alternator even when I had it changed out at a different shop. He made sure I was satisfied even though Im not a normal customer. I definitely trust him to do the right thing and perform high quality work.

2013 Mazda - only 29K miles would not start after a month of sitting idle. Battery cranks the starter Tues night and it sounded fine. But engine would not start. Wed morning – tried again to crank engine 3 times – would not start. Finally a tow truck came and driver started it with no problems.I think what happened is this: Someone tried to break into my car. European Autocare car scanner reports – “My car lost communication with instrument cluster “ – immobilizer part of alarm system. They told me all cars have immobilizer. When someone puts in a fake key, it will check with the chip in the fake key and determine that it is fake. It will then immobilize the car and update car electronics (can be scanned) that the instrument cluster is out of sync immobilizer was triggered. When I, the rightful owner with the correct key (with correct chip powered by button battery) tries to start car, it will check . They explained - It will initially not allow me to start car – unless you get AutoZone’s or O’Rielly to use their car scanner to clear the instrument cluster.Since I don’t have a car scanner, I tried to start car by cranking starter. Wait 15 mins,, then try again. Keep trying for about 10 times. It will eventually start – which is what happened to me. I didn’’t need to use a scanner. However, my car’s instrument cluster was still showing a warning code – European autocare removed the warning code for free!!

I took my car to George on two different occasions and on each occasion I was delighted in his fairness and honesty. The first time I needed my Mercedes CLK to get smoked out to detect where an oil leak was occurring. Each place I called was charging $125-$175 and he ended up doing it for around $75 and he explained why others charge more and why he chooses to keep it at $75...pure honesty. Second time I take it to him my car would not turn over when I would put the key in. He called me to explain it was something only the dealer could do and when I went back to pick up my car he didnt even charge me for his time. Wow! This guy has earned a lifelong customer. Recommendations across the board!

George is a very nice gentleman but when it comes to work, I had the worst experience in my entire life at his mechanic shop. I called him first to see if he can do oil change on my Porsche Cayenne S 2015? He claimed that is what they do every day! Oil was changed, the OIL SENSOR TURNED ON and started malfunctioning for more than a month. 4 times back and forth finally he fixed the sensor, but now the car started LEAKING OIL and ruined my drive way. Car was taken back for the 5th time! Leak was fixed and now I noticed whoever droved the car out of the shop, scratch the door deeply ... I was frustrated, upset and angry... there is no responsibility, supervision and quality at this shop. Again, the personnel and himself are very polite and nice but ZERO QUALITY WORK and the SHOP IS NOT A SAFE AND RELAIBLE PLACE TO LEAVE YOU HIGH-END CAR ...
