Traveling through from Georgia and Paul not only entertained my story telling but also got me back on the road with a new wheel speed sensor and a front driveshaft they installed. He got me in that week and with reasonable prices considering I was in the big city.2002 Land Rover DiscoveryThanks Paul!
I towed my 88 Land Rover Discovery last summer to get O2 Sensors replaced and have it ready to pass smog and I NEVER GET UPDATES OR CALL BACKS ON WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY DISCOVERY!!! Ive called and keep getting the same story with no solution. I went down there and same story no solution. I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY I AM BEING IGNORED. I am a very patient person but this is by far the worst service I have ever received.
Paul and Bill are great guys and supper helpful. They worked on my mini and fixed several problems I had with it.
Amazing service and staff. Owner Paul goes out of his way to accommodate his customers and gets the job done right. Nothing but good exleriences here for many years.
Paul is an awesome human and such a knowledgeable resource when it comes to British sport cars, especially MGBs! Took ours in for a PPI and oil change and Paul spent plenty of time going over every detail. Highly, highly recommend this shop!
I have a Land Rover LR2- when it breaks I brace for price tag impact. Not at all the case here. Unreal positive experience. Owner stayed open late for us to fight traffic and pick up our car...which was repaired same day. Extremely reasonable prices on parts and definitely on labor. Then he was super cool with my 5 year old and showed him some photos from his navy days (owned by retired navy SCPO) I would recommend this shop to anyone with a British manufactured vehicle or any car he’s will to service.
The best place in San Diego for all your British car needs, BY Far!!! I wouldnt trust my MG to anyone else. British Auto Repair is the best.
Paul is a really kind person, and he knows his British cars. I have a 73 Spitfire... So I get to know my mechanic pretty well! They price their work fairly, and they understand the concept of a budget. They are also distributors for Moss parts. They service all British made cars... Range Rover, Jaguar, MG, Triumph, Austin... All that cool stuff.
Phoned ahead and made an appointment to have an oil leak fixed on my MGB and a couple of other minor things. Work performed to perfection, on time, reasonably priced. Its like they are in business to help their customers not rip them off by doing the unwanted and/or the unneeded. Ill happily bring the car back her for service, and I live 200 miles away in Arizona!
Paul runs an honest and professional shop! We have taken our LR3 there multiple times and are always thrilled with the service we receive. He clearly has a love for British cars and it is always fun to stop by the shop and chat. His prices are extremely fair and he has never failed to make our car right.
Great service at fair prices...these guys know British cars....lt is so reassuring to have a shop provide service and inspire confidence....nice job Paul...Lyle
Great British shop. They did a great job on my MG. Very fair pricing. Paul has been around MGs and British cars for years and knows the ins and outs. The shop is neat and organized.
Quick, helpful, kind service!
Paul and his crew were extremely polite and professional. They were able to give me a fair price and take me same day.
CROOKS- BEWARE!!I bought a 2016 Nissan Versa from British Motors. Within 1 week it broke down and was discovered to have been in a major accident previous to my purchase. David Mack lied about the car, telling us it was a trade in when in reality- he bought it at auction. They refuse to take responsibility for the car and will not answer our calls, forcing us into legal avenues.DISHONEST, UNSCRUPULOUS. SWINDLERS.
They know their MG stuff!
Ive known Paul for many years and have worked with him on my MGB and in his previous career as an HVAC engineer. Hes very knowledgeable, fair, friendly, and helpful. One of the best decisions Ive made in the past year was to ask Paul and Lazlo to rebuild my MGB engine and gearbox. They did great work, found a few hard-to-source parts, changed out some of the non-original parts for originals they had saved over the years. Best of all, the car runs great! They really love their work and it shows in every aspect of the business.
Paul & his crew are the real deal. Not just mechanics, but actual British car lovers. They now service my wifes MGB, and my two Triumph vintage race cars.
Great service!
