Showed up right on time, went to town on my 50’s Okeefe & Merritt - burners balanced, oven doors close and seal (first time since this has been the case since I inherited it) and all dials now smooth and don’t require “the special touch” anymore. All in a couple hours.
These guys are the best. They are honest and clear about needed repairs or those that will be needed eventually. They really know their stuff and explain the stove and repair they are doing. Highly recommend.
Nice folks who do a good job. Where else can you get your very old stove serviced? Doesn’t matter because RMR will take care of you. I enjoyed their visit. The cost was reasonable. I am happy with my old stove and am no longer tempted to go ou and buy a Wolfe.
I visited their website last night and left a message describing an issue with my 1950-ish Wedgwood stove. I received a call back at the crack of dawn this morning. Since I didn’t answer the call, Mike left me a VERY detailed message with a possible solution to my problem. I employed the solution and it worked! I have a working oven and broiler again. I called back to thank Mike, and he took another 10 or more minutes out of his day to talk about my stove and it’s many features. I would and plan on using their services without a doubt. I can see now why they have a 5 star rating. It’s a YES from me! Thank you Mike and RMR
RMR fixed my Wedgewood last December. They are knowledgeable and the final price was below the estimate. Unheard of. Their customer service is unparalleled. I wish every business was run this way. If you have a vintage stove these are the people to call no question.
RMR Company was fantastic. They fixed everything that was wrong with my 1930s era Wedgewood stove. At last the oven door opens and closes completely, all the burners work, all of the knobs match, the blemishes in the porcelain are repaired and its clean. I am very impressed with their work, especially their attention to details.
I called RMR about a problem with my 65 yr old kitchen range. From the moment Mike answered the phone I was totally impressed. I expected a bunch of double talk which translates to, Im going to have to come evaluate your problem Not only did I not get that, he actually told me he wanted to save me money and told me how to fix the problem and said if that doesnt work call him back, which I did. He gave me specific detailed instructions how to fix it...it worked. Who does stuff like that??? What a really great company.
The porcelain surface panels on our 30 year old Viking range/oven were chipped and discolored. The burner grates were likewise chipped and pitted. We brought the panels and grates to RMR, and they were able to restore them to new condition, blasting off the old finish and firing on the replacement porcelain. Our oven/range looks great! And the price was very reasonable.
Used RMR to service a vintage stove in my very old home. They were good communicators, on-time, and very professional. Would highly recommend.
