We lived here for over 5 years and left to be closer to work. We loved our time there! We always felt safe and overall had very little issues. Jennifer is the office manager and goes above and beyond helping any way she can. She is extremely helpful. Maintenance crew also get to jobs quickly. A good place to live.
Wanted to share my experience living at Mission Pacific. So far everything has been okay. We use to live here in 2009. We moved from California and came back last year November 2019. We are definitely familiar with the area and it is Close to our jobs. We did have some problems when we moved in, but things got situated. The maintenance team always do a great job.The manager Jennifer and the new staff member Andrew are great as well. We got a great deal on our 2bedroom two bath.. As you know living in California is expensive. But the price here at Mission Pacific is great for our family.
Great community. Beautiful landscaping, clean, quiet and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of life. A hidden gem. Staff are great also, professional and efficient. Did I mention pet friendly? Two thumbs up.
We have been living at Mission Pacific community for almost year and half And Love it. The staff is amazing Joe and Rudy and Luz have wonderful personalities. Maintenance request are taken care of immediately. The office staff are very friendly Andrew is very helpful and courteous and our manager Jen is awesome to she listens to your problems and is always courteous and friendly when You see her. We love living here at Mission Pacific Apts and plan to stay here as long as possible l recommend living here plus you got a pool table outside bbq sauna pool underground parking and nice neighborhood.Lee
I have lived at mission pacific for over 4 years now . I love the many amenities including the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, bbq area an dog walk areas. The building is very well maintained. The managers Georgia and Jen are very friendly and helpful.Maintenance Joe and John are always available and do a great job in a very timely manner.Luz is keeping up the building and is super hard working .I have never had an issue with any neighbors. Everyone seems very nice and friendly and is respectful. It’s a very quiet complex.I give Mission Pacific 5 stars ⭐️ !
Horrible management. They would take forever to respond to emails and phone calls and when I would walk into the office a girl would be texting on her phone. Not impressed. Plus fire alarms went off a lot and the parking is terrible.
I work for the United States Navy and this apartment complex was highly recommended to me by my leadership. This complex is truly a good place to live. There are so many things I like about this complex, I will just mention my top three. For one, the apartments have designer finishes which gives the apartment a more home like experience. The next positive aspect of this complex is the move in specials and the referral program. The last thing I really appreciate about the complex is the 24 hour security as well as the 24 hour gym access. Last is the staff in the rental office is always willing to assist the residents
Great place, we checked it out and for the location and prices offered it was a great deal, we just chose to go with another property that was closer to our work and school. We looked at multiple 2 BR units and they were all well kept and in great condition. Andrew Brooks was a great help and very quick to work with us. Loved the layout of the apartments we saw, the dogwalk and park were nice and the area was very quiet and calm, great for those that are looking to get more out of their complexes and more of a community feeling. They do trash pickup for an additional separate cost, bundled with sewage and water, which might appeal to some people and not to others since it is excluded from the rent. Very dog friendly and the other staff that was working at the time greeted my roommate and I as we walked around the property, even some neighbors waved to us. Cant stress enough how nice and open the apartments were, even though its a complex they all still managed to get good lighting and feel open inside which was not the case at other places we visited, and we saw 3 other places the same day as this one that were all much worse in comparison for same or more expensive pricing within 10 minutes of this location.
Terrible terrible terrible place. Tried to move here and the people who were moving out backed out from moving out. So they didn’t even call us to tell us they backed out. we had just called to make sure everything was processed, then we found that out. They offered an upgrade 3 bedroom but it would for 2500 dollars a month. We asked if we can get it for the same price as the last apartment. they said no because the place is upgraded. We saw the “upgraded place”, the place didn’t look nowhere near upgraded at all. We had already signed the lease and everything gave our previous apartment our notice and everything. We will be homeless by June because of this place to fix their actions. This place is not worth the money find somewhere else to live. I will say their staffing is nice but other than that the company should be ashamed of their poor conduct and they made barely any afford to help us out.
I have been a resident at Mission Pacific Apts for almost eight years. The past year has been unusual b/c of the Covid-19 pandemic with the closed pool, gym, spa, and entertainment areas operations which altered the flow of daily life here. Yet, I find the complex to be quiet, safe, well-maintained and centrally located. The resident base is changing to a more diverse, family oriented demographic with less military and single college students. I am an older man yet I am comfortable living hereThe management team led by Jennifer Hartman makes every attempt to solve any issues I encounter always in a prompt manner. Jennifer has been excellent in her three years leading the on-site team. Her team is professional, caring and cordial. The high turnover in the leasing agent/office assistant position is the only negative I have noticed.I strongly recommend the San Diego lifestyle here at the complex.
Recently I visited my children who live here, and I loved the complex and the apartment. The complex is very safe and secure. Everyone associated with the complex is very helpful and friendly. I felt like royalty because I had my own separate wing since the bedrooms are on opposite ends. Great place to put down roots and make your home. 8-27-16
I stayed in these apartments for 6mo. Great location great neighbors. When I originally moved in I did have bugs specifically roaches they came and sprayed and I did not have that problem anymore. The roaches was coming out the refrigerator guess maybe it got left outside before they moved it into my apartment. The property manager at the time was two guys who was very friendly and helpful for the most part. About 4mo later they got a new property manager a female who was not very inviting or friendly in my personal opinion. Here is my problem with her I went and informed her I was being charged for a service I did not receive which was the valet trash, I had never received a trash can. Her response was she didnt work there when I moved in so basically it was nothing she could do but she would contact her boss. Well she never did that and I ended up having to call again and let her know my problem. Although she didnt work there before it was her problem now because she was the new manager. I just thought her response was very unprofessional. Needless to say I never got refunded my money or even a credit on my rent and they also charged me two more months of the valet trash even after I talk to them. I honestly dont believe she ever talk to her boss because she never got back in contact with me. Parking garage is also very tight spaces but has cameras so its mostly secure. Overall a decent place to live just not best management right now.
Very bad experience this place does everything to wash their hands when not keeping up with a deal laying about how the apartment was left to keep deposit. Do not rent here the people are nice and friendly but when it comes to legal things they lie.
HORRIBLE! **BEWARE!** I lived in these apartments for over a year while I was in the Navy. After I was honorably discharged after 4 years I decided to relocate and I knew there was a military clause in the lease and by law I was protected from the consequences of breaking the lease. When I went to the office and spoke with the manager she was very helpful and understanding. She gave me some paperwork to fill out and sign and advised me I there would be no problems. I watched her place the paperwork in my file and I made a huge mistake of not receiving my own copies of this paperwork. Fast forward two years later, without any other warnings. calls, nothing in the mail, Im living my life and forgot about these apartments and I get a call from a the law offices of Kimball Tirey & St. John in San Diego, CA advising that I owe Mission Pacific Apartments around $4,500.00 for breaking my lease 2 years ago! I explained everything to the lawyer and told him I would fight this and refuse to pay but he said he was sorry that it had already been too long and that I would spend more money than I owe taking them to court. Plus, I didnt have the paperwork I signed that day. Here I am 4 years later and after trying to negotiate with this law firm that will not budge this has had major consequences and affected my credit, my ability to rent anywhere, and I cant purchase a house. I have to pay the money back which I have accepted. But DO NOT TRUST these employees and managers. Im not the only military person I know they have screwed over one way or another. Find another apartment please do not give this company your money. There are better places in better areas of the city!
First off, nobody ever gives good reviews but I must say I loved these apartments. I wont be getting any discounts or free-bees for leaving a good review... Im just doing it because the staff deserves it. They are very accommodating and always quick to respond anytime we needed them. We lived here for about 2 years and were fortunate to work with Sam then Erica then we moved out due to the military working with Michelle. All these employees were great to work with and I could not have asked for better. The cleaning/repair crew (especially Cynthia and Mario) that they had on staff were always welcoming and greeted us everyday with huge smiles on their face, making this apartment complex feel like home.
This a very bad complex always a problem and when you find another place they dont check with you but on 30 days charge you for damage for more money we are on court
Horrible horrible place wow dbags everywhere and expensive for no reason. Do not rent live here
Mission Pacific consistently have management hiccups and staff take very little responsibility for it. I have lived here for a couple of years and continue to have problems with the A/C. After many maintenance requests, the issue persists even though their technician keeps saying it is fixed. We continue to empty buckets full of water and place towels on the floor because management refuses to fix the AC unit that drips water all over the hallway. This is unacceptable. The elevators are frequently out of order, I usually have to call the office several times to get ahold of someone, and when I do leave them a voice message I dont get a call back.Over all, i have enjoyed the amenities such as the pool and jacuzzi. Management (which has changed several times since Ive lived here) need to pay more attention to details though. FYI street parking is usually an issue at night and it is very difficult to get repairs done.
Pros: Mission Pacific provides a nice, quiet, safe & family friendly community. It provides comfortable & convinient apartment home layouts. Some if not most of the new lease apartments have gorgeous new faux wood linoleum flooring, giving the kitchen, dining & living room area a high end look. They are also wonderfully pet friendly providing conviniently located doggie bags & trash cans throughout the complex and even thoughout a truly enchanting doggie trail along the back of the complex. Very cute. This complex has a lot of great potential if only managed with a little more care. There are many small management hiccups that tenants have to put up with. But overall most tenants are not bothered by them.I do believe though, that even if most people arent bothered enough to complain, a little more pride & attention to logistics, & cleanliness is deserved to its tenants.
Just beware. Believe what you read on review sites about the property and especially about the company.
Ahahahahahahahahahahahahshahhahahaahahahahah it sucks
