I do not have a Jon Wayne system. But I new of Jon Waynes reputation. So I called. Jorge come out and gave me an estimate on what it would take to bring the system up to Jon Wayne standards. I was pleased with the amount and that the job could be done the same day. Jorge is a hard working young man. My husband and I were very pleased with the work he had done. He was very professional and his work showed. I am now signed up for the rescue club membership and will be asking that they send me Jorge when it is time for the yearly system check.

I’ve had the Best experience. Mike gave me detailed product and repair descriptions, making it easy to choose the best option for me. I got a new a/c system. Next morning the crews arrived to redo wiring and install the units. All of them were beyond awesome. Extremely polite and considerate, all of them knew their craft and I’m very happy with the result!!!! I will recommend Jon Wayne to everybody, the quality of workmanship and customer service is well with the money!

I paid $179 for a tune-up, but actually got a life lesson instead.After a month of rescheduling due to their high demand for the summer (which is understandable), a technician came to my home to tune-up my 3 year old AC. I ordered the Ultimate Tune-up which included inspection, coil cleaning, 1 lb of refrigerant, and AC compressor saver. A deal listed at $179 and valued at $400.The tech introduced himself, laid a mat on the porch, and put on some booties over his shoes. I thought I made the right decision just by how courteous and respectful he was to me and my home. The tech was in and out of the house inspecting the unit for about 2-3 hours. He seemed thorough with the inspection and took pictures of his findings. During the inspection, he notified me that one of my heating elements was bad, the coils needed cleaning, and there was rot caused by water damage to floor of the air intake. I went to look at the flooring and saw the damage. The damage was apparent, but the floor appeared dry like it had happened some time ago. This is when the up-sales began.The tech came up with his proposals and recommendations which left my head spinning. The 1st proposal started at approximately $8,000. It included services, membership to their club, and warranties. Of course, financing was available for 120 months. I asked if he could trim the fat based off what he said I needed and that dropped the price to $2,000. During that time, he stated he didn’t see a point to clean the coils due to rot. I almost folded to the price, but scheduling caused me to back out the work. The tech swiped my card for $179 and left even though I didn’t receive half of what was mentioned (cleaning or compressor saver).I wondered if I did or didn’t do the right thing so I called a private contracted tech and showed the pictures of the inspection. The other tech stated I could/should be able to do this on my own and gave advice on how to do it. I went to a local home improvement store and purchased the materials needed to get the job done. $200 and 6 hours later, the job was complete and AC is working great. I’ll end this point by mentioning I am not an expert or do I encourage anyone to do any work on their own.I anticipate a response that will attempt to “sell the benefits” of going with this reputable company and that is fine. I’m sure their work and products are exceptional. For those looking for a direct approach and avoid these overhead costs, I suggest getting 2 or 3 quotes before deciding if these benefits are for you.The first 2 pictures will show the work that would have cost $2,000-$8,000. The last will show my completed work.Update 08/06/21: I was called by Jon Wayne’s client care manager and issued a full refund.

I was very pleased with the service I received. Starting with Josh he was very helpful and listened to my concerns and gave me different options to select the right A.C. unit. He made it possible to get it installed the same day.They truly treat you like family even followed up with me after installation and remembered my birthday and wished me happy Birthday, very sweet! He called his guys right away, Jose was the first one to show up, he got started right away wasted no time, he was very friendly and answered all my questions and was very thorough about the whole process of installation. His crew was great too, super friendly guys, everyone was very professional and they wowed me with the whole service from start to finish, not only did they clean up the mess but they went above and beyond to vacuum anything left behind on the carpet,even covered it while working so they didnt damage or stain my carpet which i Ioved! Im definitely going to use Jon Wayne for all my future needs and recommend to my family and friends. Thank you all who helped make this project happen, keep up the awesome job!

Travis Danner was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He was very though and helped ease my mind and extend the life of my aging down stairs air conditioning unit. I was not financially able to fix every item he told me about at this time. Hopefully his fix will extend the life of mu unit until I can afford to upgrade my system.

Free Assessment ReviewAbel came out and did absolutely wonderful! He was so professional, sweet and perfect. He came in, asked for a little bit of background on the problem, took a thorough look at the unit, measured the air flow of the rooms, looked at my attic, air ducts, everything he needed to make a full assessment. It is so wonderful to have such a great experience. When it was over, he sat down, wrote down all his notes, kept me informed every step of the way, showed me pictures to give me a better idea of what I was looking at. Gave me a breakdown of my different options, & gave me his card and told me what to do when I’m ready. Loved loved loved it!

We had a bathroom fan replaced and the job involved a tight space to work in and required some rewiring. It was definitely not a DIY project. Chris did a great job getting it done for us. We will definitely call Jon Wayne again.

I had electrical panels replaced in my home and the electricians Ossy, Erin, Juan and Eric were so outstanding. I was so impressed with there professionalism, excellent knowledge and care of my home during the big job. Although a costly repair, after seeing the workmanship, I was very much as ease and really feel very safe in my home for many years to come. Didn’t let them do the work because the quote was significantly higher than I thought was reasonable. Way higher than their over the phone “guesstimate”. I sent their competition away a week before for a high price. Called these guys and these guys were double the last quote. The tech was very nice. Very professional. Price was outrageous in my opinion; especially once I found out what the part cost. My 3 star rating is based on the quote and I’m being generous. UPDATE: it’s 2 days later and I fixed it myself for $55. The most sophisticated tool I used was a pair of channel locks and a Phillips head screwdriver. Took me 30 minutes of labor and a 1/4 tank of gas to get the right part. I took pictures along the way which helped me see how to put it all back together. Easy! Saved a lot of money. I dropped the star rating from 3 to 2 once I saw how simple this job really was. Sharing my opinion because I was asked to via a text. I’ll give them another chance when it’s air conditioning time but not calling again for plumbing.

Our AC went out Labor Day weekend. They not only answered the phone at 6pm on a holiday, but had a tech to our house in 2 days, with an install the very next day. From the professionals out to my home to the workers in office, I always felt taken care of and in great hands. Everyone was polite and informative and made the process so easy. Jesse Garza diagnosed the issue and kept me in the loop of the process he was performing. My home was always warm in the afternoon. My a/c would always run and still not cool my home. When the Jon Wayne representative came and spoke with my husband he gave him several options for us. They range is prices and features. We picked what was best for us. The next day our new a/c system was installed. When I got home from work and saw the unit and the features I hugged the techs that came out because I was overwhelmed with the awesome job they did, They explained what they did and why it would help our home. We have such a cool home now and I cant thank them enough.

The service staff is professional, courteous, and know what they are doing. They always explain what they did and show pictures of the work that was completed.The only negative I have is that they service so many people that it takes about a month or more to get an appointment. I will say if it is an emergency they come out the same day or next. They work Monday through Sunday. Very pleasant.

My wife contacted Jon Wayne and they were able to schedule us for the next day. Richard called and let us know that he was 45 min out and arrived on time. Richard was very courteous and professional. He walked me through the entire inspection process and outlined our options. All said and done we will be having our new a/c installed tomorrow. I would highly recommend Jon Wayne to all. I filled out the request for service online because our AC stopped working and within the hour someone called back to confirm timings and ask questions. She was very nice! Unfortunately, the time we selected wasnt available so we needed to wait another day. However, they called the next day saying that they saw we were on the emergency list and had someone in the area sooner, so that was a nice surprise. RJ, the technician, came out and he was so easy to talk with, was very personable, really listened and asked great questions, and found everything wrong really fast. He gave us several options on what we could do depending on our circumstances and helped guide us when we were trying to decide. Our AC was up and running in about an hour as he had everything on his truck. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I’ve had Jon Wayne Plumbing, Electric and AC techs at my home multiple times to repair plumbing, install a doorbell, fix outlets, install a UV AC unit and perform maintenance, and clean my dryer vent. Chris was professional and courteous. He explained thoroughly why we needed to do certain repairs and showed me what the issues were.The only problem I had is being bumped from yesterday’s visit which was scheduled at 8 am- to today.. they also ran late today. However, they did keep in touch from the beginning of the day yesterday and throughout the day. They called last around 530/6 and asked if I still wanted to wait or move the the visit to today. They compensated by waiving the service fee which was much appreciated. All in all very good service and good communication; luckily I’m at home and did not have anywhere to be but I could see that could be an issue for some people. I will use services again.

Was using another company for years but finally got fed up with the constant cancelations and rescheduling. Called Jon Wayne and they came out within one week to perform my annual maintenance. Technician was early for the appointment, looked very professional, and explained everything he was going to do. At the end he educated me on what was performed and pointed out items needing attention. He took the time to show me the issues and provided options. I had him do some minor repairs which he was able to do on the spot because he had everything he needed on his service van. All pricing was explained up front and there were no surprises. Because of the great service I joined the Rescue Service Club. Our Technician was Robert Romero and I hope to see him next year for my next annual maintenance.

They cancelled our first appointment after we had made arrangements to be home for it. On the second appointment the told us the truck was in route and then 1 1/2 hours later they told us the truck had a flat while in route then they called much later and said they fixed the tire and the truck was on its way but it was way on the opposite side of town, was it ever in route?? They showed up late in the afternoon. Ruined our whole Saturday. Bad enough they originally scheduled a Saturday but since we had already taken off for a weekday we had no choice but to use a Saturday. I requested that someone from management call me on Monday but here we are Tuesday and no one has called. The maintenance was very thorough and that’s made up for the wait. Their maintenance service has always been exceptional the only thing they need to work on is their scheduling. But I guess since it is summer and because of all the people that had trouble after the horrible hail storms they must be quite busy. I just thank God we didn’t have any damage from the hail storm. Through all this I would still pick Jon Wayne A/C services any day.

Ive used John Wayne twice so far for A/C maintenance and/or repairs. The second time when Richard was helping us out, a few things went amiss and he had to schedule a plumber to get involved on a different day for an unexpected mishap during the A/C repair. Steve responded for the plumbing call and was able to get the situation squared away quickly. Maddie from the office team for John Wayne was also very helpful and understanding to our whole situation resulting from the service calls of our series of unfortunate events. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the service and professionalism exhibited from all employees we interacted with and would definitely contact John Wayne for any future home service calls.

We had our AC heating system not working which was the cooling part it would not cool on Monday morning I called John Wayne in the afternoon and they said they would try to get someone out between 2 and 6 but the repairs were taking longer on other peoples units and they said if they couldnt get done by 9 it would have to be first thing at 8 a.m. Wednesday morning. I called at 7:30 then I 745 and I got an answer and she checked promptly and somebody was there at five minutes to 8 so Im guessing they were already on their way and kept their promise even though they had a rough day the day before we surely appreciate it. The only thing I can think of that would really help is if they could change their financing and instead of only finance if the price is $1,000 or more that they could do financing on anything $200 and up would really be helpful with a signed agreement and possibly auto debit from Bank that would be very helpful helpful especially for seniors. They did a good job and War guards on the on their shoes how much I appreciated and were very thorough and explaining things. Give them a try they seem to be very trustworthy.

I called for a very simple repair in which one of the pipes under my kitchen sink came loose and was leaking water. Its essentially a 45 minute fix at most with very little material required but I dont plumb so called in professionals. They literally refused to fix it in the most cost effective manner even though they were fully capable of doing so. Instead they offered several fixes which included repair for things they saw as potential future issues which cost over $2k. Mind you none of the things they say would cause issues have had any issues to that point and based on their description of the problem seemed highly unlikely. Essentially I asked for an oil change and they were only willing to do a complete engine rebuild even when the engine was working perfectly fine and only needed new oil. I called another company and they fixed for under $200 and in less time than it took me arguing with the John Wayne tech about why they couldnt just complete the simple repair required. If you want to be overcharged and over sold than use this company otherwise Id recommend literally anyone else. I almost never write reviews but if this will prevent even a single person from being ripped off it was worth my time.Edit: This is an update based on the response received. My opinion of what took place remains completely unchanged. Everything I stated was accurate so Ill repeat buyers beware if you want to be overcharged feel free to use them. You may call them for a $200 dollar job and be sold a correction to a completely unrelated future problem that you never in fact have even experienced for 10x the price.

I contacted John Wayne to get a bid to replace my a/c system for a condo unit that is a little under 1000sq ftThe man was on time, polite and he seemed to know what he was talking about when it came to A/C equipment.He explained how their A/C systems had quality parts and up to date technology. He assured me he would not cut corners and do things like replace the breaker switch and clean the ducts and drain line.Problem is the bid for a full replacement with one year service plan came to over $10000 and this was the special price of a summer special that was going on for a limited time.I asked what would it cost to just replace the system and no service plan and the total would still have been almost $8000.Financeing is available at about 9% spread out over 10 years. Bad idea IMOAs he was leaving I asked if he was the one that would be doing the work. He said that he would not be the one to do that work, a team of installation professionals who had the proper licences would actually do the work. That was the last peace of evidence to know that I was talking to a trained salesman as much as I was talking to a technician.Im giving a 4th star because he did not charge me the $29 service fee for the inspection/bid. Thank you.A full system the same size as my current broken unit seems to be available for $2000 when looking at the websites of the big hardware stores in the area.

Spent $10,000 for a whole new unit with Jon Wayne 4 years ago. Have had issues since day one and every year. There is always something that is going out/wrong. We actually have to have back up portable AC’s that we use each time something goes wrong. Most recently now our furnace is out and needs to be replaced plus multiple other problems. But hey we have warranty right? Yeah warranty might replace it but the labor is not included and will cost you a whopping $2000. For the initial price we paid could have bought 3 units elsewhere. Feels like the company is more about quantity over quality. Please think twice before buying.

After taking PTO so I would be home for my 12-5pm appointment, I got a call at almost 8pm letting me know that the technician would not be able to come out because they were too busy with other customers. But I was welcome to pick another weekday for them to possibly come out again, maybe, if they found the time in their busy schedule for someone with a pre-paid 10-year service plan.My only suggestion would be, if you absolutely MUST use Jon Wayne, don’t pre-pay for your service plan. They give preferential treatment to people who will pay them that day, rather than to those whose money they’ve already taken.I’ve had my a/c unit for two years now, and this is the second year in a row I’ve had an issue with my annual service appointment. Last year they gave a similar excuse, so it must be something they’re trained to say. After waiting six weeks for this appointment, it’s a tough pill to swallow that I’ve been sitting here waiting for 8 hours, only to have to wait a whole week longer. I cannot stress enough how poor their customer service is after they’ve already sold and installed their equipment.“Need a new a/c, we’ll be there in an hour, seven days a week! Need it serviced, we’ll be there in 6-8 weeks, Monday-Friday, during YOUR work hours! That’s the Jon Wayne Way!”

The workmanship Eddie, Henry, and Timothy did was outstanding. They didnt leave a mess behind. Cleaned up and laid out a drop cloth to walk on. They were polite and answered all our questions. The 3 men were very professional. We want to once again say Thank You!! We also dealt with Rudy the HVAC Design Consultant who was also very polite and explained all the different options we had. He took his time and was patient and really respected our privacy so my husband and I could discuss our decision. We did have a small Thermostat issue that the App was alerting us about. My husband called Rudy and another technician came out the same day. We unfortunately did not catch his name. He was very helpful and explained the issue and resolved it.

Our A/C system froze up a couple of times (the basic freeze, turn it off for an hour or so and it starts working again). We called John Wayne out to come look at it. He said it was likely our filter, but then did the whole salesman speech on the laundry list of ways a new unit would be better, etc. We told him we were fine without one for now but would consider down the road. Then he went back outside before he left and we went and ran an errand. He calls us and says I dont know what I did, but all of a sudden your breaker wont stop flipping. Then when we get back 10 min later, our compressor is now grounded and fried to the point of not being fixable, so our entire system is dead.The only recourse JWC offered was he replaced the breaker free of charge, because Im not sure what I did there. And then pulled up his lengthy price sheet again. $3-5k to replace the compressor that was now fried, or $11-15k for a new unit.I attempted to escalate to JWC, but they offered zero in the way of assisting to make it right. Said not their fault, nothing they would do.Not sure if it was merely negligent, or intentional, but I do know that our AC worked when they showed up, was completely dead by the time they left, and they offered nothing other than extremely expensive options to at least put me back in the position I was in when they got there.Would avoid at all costs.

Seniors BeWare!! I have been dealing with the Jon Wayne A/C company for the last four years. I have finally realized that they have been cheating me every time they come out for repairs. On the last visit I had called them in the middle of Aug. my A/C stopped working, so after they checked out the system they told me, we have two offers to fix your system one was $1200.00 the other was for $787.00. I settled for the $787.00 since they explained the $1200.00 would include a surge protector. At that time all I wanted was for the A/C to work. So they asked me to initial on their I-pad for the $787.00 repair without an itemized list of what was to be repaired. After they left it dawned on me that I didnt know what I had paid for. So I called the office requesting an itemized list of what was repaired, they told me to call the technician that worked on my system, I refused to talk to the technician and requested they email me an itemized list of the repair. A short time later the technician emailed me a list of what was replaced along with a copy of what I had accepted during their visit. Now the copy shows the three items that were replaced along with the price of each item and my initials accepting the work. Funny how all of this info was absent when I initialed the I-pad. The three items on the list were, one Circuit Breaker $238.00 which is a $14.00 item, one Service Disconnect $281.00 which is a $24.00 item this item was not installed properly they had to come and fix this problem., and one Hard Start Capacitor $311.00 which I had replaced a couple of months before. After seeing all of these charges I recalled that the last technician that had serviced our system from Jon Wayne had told me that all the technicians that work there work on commission only so when they come to your home they have to find something to replace in order for them to get paid. This will be my last experience with this company please be aware in this case a second opinion may be worth the call.After placing this review one of Jon Waynes representatives contacted me to see if there was anything they could do to help resolve some of the issues listed in my review. After a long conversation the representative agreed to work with me on the pricing of certain items.I was impressed with the manner in which the representative approached me with respect and fairness. I guess for a company that shows a great deal of interest in resolving issues and keeping customers satisfied means a lot, therefore I believe such interest deserves changing my review from one star to four stars.

There were 3 electricians at my house replacing outlets, installing light switches, doing upgrade maintenance on my indoor panel. They were very professional and was able to get to outlets without my assistance, some were in very confined spaces. They cleaned up any stuff from the job. Once power was restored, they went around checking every switch to ensure they worked properly. One man then installed my new ceiling fan. They took my old one to trash it. Ive used Jon Wayne for various tasks and they always vey professional and do excellent work.

The call out and time frame they gave me was a wreck. I was told Friday night that a tech would be out on Sunday from 1200-1600 no one showed - then got a call at 1645 that it was delayed. So after we cancelled plans for another 4 hours, no body showed. I had a missed call with a voicemail stating to call back, to which no one answered and I was directed to a voicemail.The following day, a gem of a tech showed to rescue us from the, (not even brutal yet), heat. Leonard was fantastic, professional and clear about what went wrong and how to prevent it in the future.

Needed to replace our undersized very old inefficient AC system. Rudy did a great job clearly informing & educating us about their products including maintenance plans and the whole array of information we needed to make this important decision on an investment like this for our home. Admittedly Jon Wayne is more pricey but once I saw the final installation & saw how Jon Wayne stands behind its product, protecting both its product & the customer, I feel the price is worth it. I was not present for the installation but my wife said they were extremely polite, professional & hardworking, getting the installation done efficiently & professionally. Its a super sharplooking system with all the bells & whistles...and finally we are comfortably cool in our home. Thanks Jon Wayne!

First my husband called and shared the services we needed and scheduled a day for them to come out, then they called me to confirm the appointment and asked *me* what we were needing so I explained again (although I thought it was odd to repeat it all). Then the day of the appointment window (4 hours large) it was “extended” two extra hours and finally canceled and moved to the *next* day. The next day a very friendly gentlemen arrived at the end of that days 4 hour window (if you’re counting I’ve waited 10 hours at this point). Steps foot in my front door, asks what we needed today (I repeat again what we needed done) and he tells me that he’d be happy to schedule that right away! what?!? Are you kidding?! That’s right. He steps inside my house after me waiting on them for ten hours only to have them “schedule me for Monday?!”I would love to comment on John Wayne’s services but I haven’t gotten any yet.

John Wayne honestly saved me this time! I was out of my AC for several days (in the middle of Texas Summer, so imagine that!) and they came and helped me out ASAP. They immediately fixed my issue and gave me a tune-up. I’ll definitely be using them next time whenever I need maintenance.

Carlo from Jon Wayne provided excellent service during my air conditioner checkup. He took his time to explain the process and what he was going to do. No surprises here, everything he checked was listed on their iManifold report which listed all of the technical readings.
