DV Roofing did a very good job. They communicated well throughout the project and used quality materials. Bryant and his crew were on time, on schedule, were respectful and communicated issues immediately. Plan to use DV in the future and refer to others.

I wanted to share my experience with DV Roofing and Remodeling. I fired them around 6 weeks ago due to finding out that they were trying to get away with over $3,000 worth of work that was not done. When meeting with David Violette and Roger the owners, they were professional and appeared to be an honest person. I clearly stated to David that I wanted all repairs done that the insurance was reimbursing for. When he came over with Roger to write up the contract, he did not include my window screens which the insurance was paying for (I thought it was an honest oversight). He quickly went down the check list mumbling some, but did not explain he was not listing everything the insurance was paying for and he did not explain that he had no intentions on replacing my felt as he was requesting reimbursement for (which is illegal). I found out the quality of work they do because they left a piece of my drip edge in the front of my house damaged. I called them back to fix a speaker they didnt reattach to the back of my house and to fix the drip edge. They came out and fixed both, but unfortunately did a sloppy job with my drip edge and the front of my house looked like it had a patch job done. It previously was a smooth piece of drip edge and now it had a patch. I called David to have him come out and look at the patch work that I was not happy with. I also called a second company to come out that is a Haag trained roof inspector. I wanted to get a second opinion on the patch job so I could discuss with David when he came. The inspector requested all the information about the repairs that should have been done and inspected to see if they were all done. He found over $3,000 worth of work that was not done. He took pictures of the work that was not completed. The inspector did not cost a lot, so I would recommend that everyone getting a roof done hire an inspector. David had also included damages for my fence as a supplemental check that he NEVER discussed with me. I had to meet with lawyers and the fraud department. It has been a nightmare. Because the insurance gave me the initial first payment and I had already paid DV Roofing the first check, they stated at this point it was a civl suit, prior to my paying him they could have stepped in. BEWARE where it says replace felt, if he scratches it out and writes in install he has no intention on tearing off your old felt and replacing with new felt (however he sure will collect money for it) and when he hand writes in on replacing the drip edge and writes as needed (but he requests reimbursement to replace it all). He tried to pocket this money. He gave me all these other excuses the other times we talked about where the $3000 went to and I discussed with the inspector, insurance, lawyers, and RCAT. They all stated he was full of bull and pocketing the money. The crew was extremely nice and professional and even though they had an inspector on sight, it is clear he is in on this poor quality of work as well. Please beware and choose another contractor. Thank goodness I recorded our conversations, because David cant lie about what he said. I have emails and recordings. DV Roofing was a horrible choice.Their website states that they have best warranties in the industry, no short-cuts on materials or our superb craftsmanship. This is a complete lie. They cut corners (over $3,000 worth). Not replacing the felt in itself it poor workmanship not superb. Their warranty is also not the best. Most offer 10 year warranties, they offered 5 years. They committed fraud and mislead me. I should not have had to research every night and learn about roofing, nor should I have had to hire a certified roof inspector and lawyer. They are supposedly the professional in this field. David stated that all roofing companies do this, and they dont. Thats why there is an association w/ ethical roofing companies that care to be a part of the association and uphold those standards. It is companies like DV Roofing that make roofing companies look bad. Please do not fall victim.

From the initial meeting with David Violette, owner, thru the installation with Bryant and the crew of roofers, they were all professional, courteous and helpful. David explained his companies record, expertise and processes very clearly. Bryant and crew displayed these same qualities and were quick to explain what they were doing and were very courteous and professional.

DV roofing was awesome to work with. Davids whole team is very courteous, and professional. Site manager (Bryant) was always there ready for any questions or concerns. DV roofing did an outstanding job and would recommend them to anyone.

My house needed a lot of work: a complete roof, replace rotten fascia, decking, and trim, and some cracked siding; and while I was at it, I wanted to have the house painted and gutters put across my front and back patios. I wanted a company that would handle all of this work for me, rather than me having to hire separate companies and manage the timing and logistics myself. I also wanted a local company that has been in San Antonio for some time, so I could expect them to still be around in a few years should I have any issues. I did my research and made a list of 10 local San Antonio roofing companies. When I submitted my requests (online) for estimates, I was very clear on the work I wanted done, and that I wanted one company to handle it all, and that the estimate should include all of the work.David (owner) from DV Roofing and Remodeling promptly contacted me the following day, and we made an appointment for him to come to my house the next day. David personally came to my house, walked my property, got on the roof with me, and talked me through everything I wanted to discuss. I didn’t feel rushed, and he addressed all of the projects that I wanted to do. David emailed me the estimate as promised, and even called me to walk me through it and told me he was available should I have any questions. He also provided me copies of his license and insurance information, as well as his Better Business Bureau accreditation. In case you’re curious, he’s been accredited in San Antonio since 2014 and has an A+ rating. I contacted David the following Monday to hire him for the job. The job was scheduled to start the following week Wednesday. David came to my house the day prior along with Bryant, the onsite Supervisor. David and Bryant walked my property with me to ensure we were all on the same page as to what work was being completed, as well as the timeline for each project.Bryant and the roofing crew promptly started the following week Wednesday, on time, as promised. The job was scheduled for 2 days to complete the roof and rotten wood and siding replacement, and then the painters and gutters would follow the roof for several more days. While the roof was being done, Jose came to discuss paint, and George came to discuss the gutters. This was helpful to have a game plan ready for when the roof was complete, as there was no downtime between jobs. Bryant was onsite every day to ensure the project was done correctly, and stayed on schedule. Bryant also kept me informed of progress, and let me know of any unforeseen issues. For example, once the old roof was removed, they came across additional rotten fascia and decking. Bryant promptly contacted me with photos and recommendations, as well as the exact amount of any additionally costs for wood and labor. He never pressured me, and accepted whatever decisions I made. The roof was completed in 2 days as promised. I’ll add that Oscar and his roofing crew were awesome! They were timely, courteous, and professional throughout the entire job, and they did a great job cleaning up after themselves.After the roof was installed, Jose came out to start the paint process. It took 2 days to prep (power wash and caulk) and 4 more days to paint. On the final day, George and his crew came and installed the gutters. I’ll add that they make the seamless gutters onsite. They are made to the exact length needed for your house, so no seams or leaks in the middle of the run. I also had them install the leaf guards on the gutters so I don’t ever have to clean them! Overall, the project took 10 days (8 work days). It was completed on schedule and met all of my expectations. David and Bryant communicated with me every step of the way to ensure the job progress was exactly what I expected. I am extremely happy with the results (see before and after pictures). I would definitely recommend DV Roofing and Remodeling to anyone looking for a company to complete their exterior housing project, big or small. There is a reason they are 5 star reviewed!

Thank you DV Roofing for coming to my home on short notice to repair my roof damage caused by high winds. David was kind enough to proactively inspect my entire roof for potential damage caused by hail and recent winter storms in which he found no additional damage. He took time to explain that sometimes there are damages not always visible, but in his observation our roof only needed a minor fix, which he took care of on the spot. David and his team at DV roofing did an excellent job both inspecting and replacing my roof. David was easy to work with, and his crew was professional and prompt. My roof was repaired in one day, and the cleanup was very thorough.Overall I give them an A+.

We interviewed more than a few companies (including the oldest family owned) and David was the only one to give us a solution for our roofs pitch causing a waterfall over porch landing in huge rain and a very fair price. He was also very thorough on what to expect during the process. I have to say that my wife and I were very impressed with his crew and superintendent (Bryant) - they were professional, very deligent on policing any trash and did a terrific job. His gutter specialist (John and wife, Terry)were excellent as well. We highly suggest his company and will call on him first for any other properties we own.

David Violette, the owner, personally took the time to go over the bid with us. His crew showed up on time, and they were very courteous and polite. They were constantly cleaning up debris throughout the roof installation process. They worked until sunset the first day, and they were finished by 1:00 the second day.Bryant, the site manager, was stellar! They even covered our neighbor’s truck with a tarp to prevent any damage to it from falling debris. I would highly recommend this company!

The crew was professional and hardworking. They did everything I asked and cleaned up really well. Of a handful of estimatesI received, David, owner of DV Roofing, understood what I was looking for regarding product materials, installation, warranty, quality and workmanship, and all was thoroughly noted on his estimate. I know my specs were very particular, but David was patiently receptive and negotiable. Looking back, I think he sold me when I spotted him walking the highest peak of my 2 story home. His job supervisor, Bryant, followed up with same quality customer service. Bryant and his crew were very courteous, professional, and delivered excellent workmanship (siding work included)... all while protecting and maintaining a tidy job site. I had some issues after the repairs were done, that David quickly took care of and proved to me that he is a man of his word and warranties his work. We had our roof replaced after a hail storm earlier in the year. Dave came to the house prior, was very professional and trustworthy. He provided us a competitive quote and we decided to work with him. He kept in contact with us as he worked with our insurance company and finally set a date to get the work started. The morning of the crew came, let us know they’d be in the driveway and got to work. We had to leave several times throughout the day as we work from home and everyone was kind and professional. Interviewed two roofing companies both with very good reputations. Both companies made excellent presentations for an identical replacement roof for our house. We choose DV Roofing, who was our favorite, as DV’s price quote was significantly lower than the other company’s. DV did the work during our desired timeframe. The owner and the job supervisor were very communicative. The work crew was as quiet as possible and completed the job to our satisfaction in less than a day and a half with out any damage to our house and landscaping. My wife was very pleased with the job and the completed product so of course I am happy. I strongly recommend DV Roofing.

DV Roofing replaced the old, deteriorated roof on my home after a hail storm. I met them while they were working on a house on the same street, but I didnt sign a contract right away since I had already been approached already by half a dozen other roofers after the hail storm. My wife and I had a good feeling about two men we met though, and they gave a fair, easy to understand estimate without promising me the moon. After checking back with me the following week, I signed a contract.During the reroof, they provided needed code upgrades and negotiated with the insurance company to provide for all the very necessary updates to my old roof. They started and finished in the timeframe they gave me, the roof looks great, and I havent found a single nail since they left.I would gladly recommend this company to anyone needing a new roof. As a first time home owner, the whole task of getting a new roof seemed a little overwhelming. DV Roofing made it easy. My wife and I had peace of mind through the whole process, and now are glad to have a roof that will last us until we pay off or sell this house. (Or at least until the next hail storm comes, in which case, I know who Ill call).

This is the second time in the last few years, at different homes, Ive replaced a roof, etc via insurance.This most recent time was perfect.DV Roofing did a wonderful job replacing a broken 2nd floor dual plane window, all window screens, machine stretched seamless gutters, repairing/staining a playhouse, and lastly the roof.The owner is a licensed contractor so essentially hes a one stop shop. Great communication before, during and after. Readily accessible. I dont think the word NO is in their vocabulary.I was hesitant going with one of the giant name companies because I know they scaled up rather quickly in response to the work load following the storm. I was concerned with over-promising coupled with new-crew average work and ultimately being treated as just a number to them. Thats why I selected DV Roofing, large enough to have experience & know-how, not too big they forget the small things.David and his crew were timely and professional. I explained what I wanted down to the material, color, upgrades, etc. He then met with my adjuster to make sure they werent low-balling their estimate.Insurance company sent me a check. I didnt have to pay a penny until the work was completed.Great work, in and out, cleaned up. Im thrilled. At the end, did a thorough walk-around, asked if I had questions/concerns and addressed 110% of them. Taking the extra step to ensure complete satisfaction gave me the warm fuzzy I was expecting when spending that kind of money - whether mine or insurance - on such an important thing as my home.I would choose this well run small to medium business over the big overpriced names any day of the week.

DV Roofing did a great job on replacing our roof after hail damage. I met with 5 different roofing companies, and ultimately chose David at DV Roofing (a local company and that matters!) after first meeting and reviewing all comanies on the BBB. David is thorough and was able to help me navigate the rough waters with insurance and get my insurance to pay for items missing from their initial estimate and to use the most up to date price list which increased my payout. He didnt pressure me to start the work early, but he wanted to wait until the roof portion was settled with insurance before starting, and I greatly appreciated that. His pricing was fair. His method for replacing the roof is thorough. When they found fascia boards and 2x6s and 1x2s needing replaced, they showed me the damage and gave me a great rate to get it fixed. In preparing for the repairs to start, they covered my entire back patio in tarp to protect it, and they moved my front yard Halloween decorations and my back yard potted plants out of harms way. The best part....THEY PUT IT ALL BACK!!! They cleaned up nails and debris as well. To top it off, they finished our roof in just over 1 day. It was so fast! Bryant, the onsite manager, was awesome to work with too. So kind and accomodating. David has a great team and provides excellent service and communication, as well as a great value. Id work with him again in a heart beat.

Dv roofing honored a warrenty that I couldnt find from 2 years ago.They came and fixed 2 leaks.Very nice owner,he listened and sent someone out the same day and fixed it.no charge.I would call them if you need help.They seem very honest,caring company.
