The fact they ask about any relative information and take it into account speaks volumes. I didn’t wait any longer than 5 minutes upon arrival. The delivery of information about my teeth was straight forward but was in a way where I didn’t feel regret or attacked for not staying on top of my dental visits. What a delightful group of beings. After many years, many dental procedures and various dentists, I have finally found the AB-SO-LUTE BEST! Dr. Cavazos and his ENTIRE staff (dental assistants, front office staff, hygienist,etc. ) are the most professional and most pleasant I have ever encountered. The environment is very clean and inviting and you have beautiful scenery( clouds) and awesomely picked music that Dr. Cavazos chooses from ALEXA and harmonizes well with! I have had nothing but great experiences at Bright Smile. The receptionists are responsive and helpful when it comes to scheduling and reminding me about my appointments. Dr. Cavazos, as well as his assistants, are very friendly and caring. They make sure the procedures don’t cause me pain, and my appointments are always done in a timely manner. I’ve even had my upper wisdom teeth taken out here and I was scared about being awake for the process, but I was pleasantly surprised it did not hurt one bit. My recovery also went well without any swelling and my mouth didn’t hurt even after the nitrous oxide and numbing wore off. With that being said, I have nothing but good things to say about Bright Smile.

The staff at Bright Smile Dental were absolutely accommodating to my needs and were very understanding. Dr. Alejandra Cavazos is a very understanding and thorough and took the time to explain everything to me. This was the best dental visit I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Not only did they take great care of me when I was in pain and in desperate need for help...but they did so with great kindness and understanding when I was forced to get an emergency treatment on my birthday of all days. I was already very anxious and upset because of my last dental experiences but everything about this appointment made me feel comfortable and sure I was in safe and caring hands. Everything was thoroughly and thoughtfully explained to me beforehand. I felt safe and supported the whole time. Then the procedure itself was short and painless. It was even expected that I experience some pain over the weekend because of the extensive nature of my procedure, BUT because I was taken care of so I well I experienced no pain whatsoever!I am so grateful to have found this place I was almost in tears. What an unexpectedly great birthday treat. I was able to enjoy my whole weekend! I will be recommending Dr Caravazos and his wonderful wonderful staff whenever I have the chance. I am truly grateful.

Dr. Alejandro Alex Cavazos is a revenue driven verses a care driven provider. He was supposed to send a PA (x-ray) to my dental insurance company for a prior authorization for bridge/decayed tooth, but he and his team failed to do so, twice. This delayed my treatment. In fact, he didnt even have a PA of my tooth nor did he tell me to come in to take an x-ray. I found this out the night before my scheduled procedure and discussed the issue with him. He stated since I was out of frequency, it didn’t matter if the insurance company had a PA or not, and the insurance company was just dragging their feet and making it difficult for me to get prior authorization when in fact, all they wanted was the PA. He told me I could pay for the treatment in full ($2500+) and get reimbursed from the insurance carrier, because he needed to get paid so he can pay his staff and overhead expenses. I thought that was crazy since he and his team were the ones that dropped the ball. He then changed his mind and said I could pay half and bill the insurance carrier for the other half; I agreed because I was desperate and in pain. He told me “not to worry”, “come into the office as scheduled”, “we will send all the documentation needed to the insurance provider” and he reassured me all is going to be fine. So, all night, I mentally prepared myself for the procedure. I arrived the next morning, the assistant took the PA and I was laying in the dental chair, psyching myself up for the procedure (and in pain). Dr. Cavazos came in and told me he thought about our conversation last night, and now feels he is not the best dentist for me. I said, so you’re not going to do the procedure, Im in pain? he just repeated himself and handed me a copy of the PA. I laid there in pain and was shocked. I fully understand he has the right to refuse services to any patient, but the way he handled the situation was unprofessional and mean spirited; even his assistant was surprised and shocked of his behavior. I asked him why not just call me, so I dont waste time taking off from work. He stated he wanted to tell me in person. All he did was create feelings of distress, exposure, mistrust, being powerless and worthlessness; maybe that was his goal. I cried as I left the office. Dr. Cavazos was not genuine nor empathetic when he was telling me of his decision. He said Im sorry but he used the words as a method of appeasement and control. I left without a dentist to my name and pain in my mouth. I recently moved my whole family to his practice. He was willing to lose 5 patients rather than swallow his pride that he and his insurance team messed up. Dr. Cavazos lacks integrity in his business operations.

Let me start by saying I am one of those that are terrified of going to the dentist. Dr. Cavazos has been so understanding. He answers all my questions and you can tell he really cares. He’s made me so comfortable to come to the dentist. You will not regret coming here!

Dr. Cavazos is an excellent dentist. The initial consultation, diagnosis and the procedures or treatments were explained in detail. He replaced a cracked crown and dated fillings which was absolutely painless for which I am so grateful. He paused several times to ask me if I was okay and provided updates. My teeth do not line up correctly resulting in sore jaws and sensitive teeth. Dr. Cavazos customized a splint and it is working! Thank you to the wonderful staff; Annette, Amanda, Isabel and Saretta for your positive attitudes, active listening, and knowledge of the procedures. Being a long time patient of Dr. Green I too was scared when Dr. Green retired. But the search for a trusting dentist is hard. So I had an opportunity to try Dr. Cavazos. Last week I called the office not knowing the office was closed, so I called Dr. Cavazos cell phone that was left on office recording. Dr Cavazos promptly returned my call. He worked me in on Mondays schedule, with 2 options for appts. When I arrive to the office I was addressed by my name and was immediately placed in a room. Dr. Cavazos patiently listened to my concerns about my tooth. Dr. Cavazos examined my crown and reassured me that there was no concern with my crown. When checking out Dr. Cavazos did not charge me for office visit. Wow! He does care of about patients. If you have concerns and questions I know he will discuss it with you.

Dr. Green, the reason for the high ratings, was amazing and his quality of service is greatly missed after his retiring.Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Cavazos was terrible. I dont feel like I had a bad experience. I most definitely did have a bad experience.I went in for pain in a tooth and it turned out I had a cavity. Dr. Cavazos immediately took care of the issue. I returned a month later in excruciating pain and informed Cavazos and staff that it was the same tooth he previously worked on. I was told that it was in fact NOT the tooth he worked on (and he made that very clear... to not accept responsibility) but rather a tooth that was 2 spaces away from the pain. Cavazos continued to inform me that I would need to pay to have a root canal redone on a tooth that did not hurt. I was also informed by Cavazos that I had cavities on the bottom teeth that would need attention. I left his office in pain and suffered through the weekend. I called Cavazos on Monday because I was still in pain and his childlike response of continuously repeating that he did not give me a cavity blows my mind as I would never suggest such an absurd statement. I chose to find another dentist who stated that the tooth with the pain WAS THE TOOTH CAVAZOS WORKED ON!! My new dentist went on to state that the cavity should NOT have been touched by anyone but a specialist because of its positioning near the root. The work that Cavazos did, killed the root, caused the extreme pain, and required me to have a root canal, a root canal that could have been avoided. My new dentist also stated that the good news was that I DIDNT HAVE ANY CAVITIES! Strange as Cavazos was going to charge me for unnecessary work just the week prior.My experience is that Cavazos displayed childlike behaviors, touched a tooth that he should have sent me to a specialist for, refused to take responsibility, and attempted to have me pay for fillings on non-existing cavities. I wonder what other work I had done or other patients have had done that was fictitious. I do not trust Cavazos and would suggest finding a new dentist.

What an amazing staff, location and professional service this place has. I went in initially in November due to my front tooth decay after a horrible accident in my 20s, found out the most medically necessary and best option for me was to have a crown. Nervous, scared, and intimidated by the all known pain of a dentist, I didnt want to move forward. With the help of Dr. Martin Garcia, it was a smooth process. No stress just all smiles when I would visit. Now Im struttin my stuff with a huge white smile. They took me back promplty. An X-ray showed a needed a few old feelings re done. Dr. Garcia explained that it wouldnt take long and he could do them right away! I felt absolutely no pain and was told every step what he was doing. It seemed like 15 mins passed and he was already done!
