Since I knew exactly what car I was coming to look at, I was in and out in two hours. Rene even let me take a lunch break while he got the vehicle fully detailed and filled her up for me. The cherry on top was his offer to order seat mats for me because the vehicle was missing them. I am so thankful for Rene and his help in buying my new car!!

Would not recommend doing business with this dealer. Wanted to purchase a car and dealer representative said financing the car was a requirement.They mentioned any car on the lot could be purchased without financing. This was not true. We wanted to buy another vehicle on the lot already and the dealer wanted to enforce financing.This is the 2nd time myself or a family member has had a bad experience. Demand is high and inventory is low so they want to take advantage of anyone they can with specific terms that only benefit them (not even talking about price).
It was one of the best auto buying experiences I have had. Israel was a perfect sales associate. He was helpful without being overbearing and he was thoughtful about which Hyundai fit our situation. I would definitely ask for Israel when you shop for cars at Red McCombs Hyundai Northwest. The rest of the team were professional and efficient during the experience.

Im not very pleased with our experience last week. My wife dropped the car off for a scheduled service and was talked into getting an alignment and tire balance package due to Hyundai recommendation at 12,000 miles. We currently fall under the Hyundai complimentary service, which did not cover this package and were forced to pay. Nowhere in my Hyundai service manual does it state any wheel balancing or alignment is required at 12,000 miles. In fact, it states that since tires are balanced and wheels are aligned at the factory that this service isn’t needed until tires are replaced. It seems they took advantage of my wife’s lack of vehicle service knowledge to force payment.A customer service reached out the next day and I sent him the same reply as above, but did not hear anything back regarding the manner.Leaving a star in favor for the technician that completed the work. Looks good.

I have been loyal to the HYUNDAI brand since 2016 when i purchased my 2017 Elantra. 3 years later i paid it off and now the title is currently mine. Life went on and then suddenly my wife was pregnant with my soon to be first born son. I then realized it was time for another car but this time something bigger and better. For a long time the PALISADE model caught my eye and i have always wanted one. Well eventually I ended up leaving to Korea for a year tour and was able to save up enough money to finally purchase the Palisade for my wife and son. I came home and wasted no time finding the closest Hyundai dealership closest to us which was the RED MCCOMBS location. Upon arrival my family and i walked in and sure enough there was Mr. Daniel with a friendly face and positive energy and warm welcome and listened to my every word when i explained what my wife wanted. He was also very patient with my son being fussy and running all over the dealership. He decided to help and bring out a pizza for my son to eat which helped distract him while we continued to talk business. A few hours and stacks of paperwork later, we left the lot with our new 2022 HYUNDAI PALISADE. This was one of the greatest car sales experiences I have ever had. Purchasing this car was only a dream of mine before leaving my family for a year, but thanks to the RED MCCOMBS dealership and Mr Daniel, my dream is now a reality. This is the second time Ive bought a used car from Hyundai Northwest. All the sales reps are friendly and patient. Today I worked with Paul Flores. He was super helpful, very patient with my 5 year old, was a great listener and had our best interest in mind. We appreciate his straight answers and his can-do attitude! Well definitely be back for future car purchases.
I went in about a month ago to have them check my brake lights that keep burning out and my turn signal keeps sticking, specifically on my dashboard. They charged me $80 and told me my tail lights were dirty and that theyd clean them and that will solve all my issues. It did not solve any of my issues. I called the next day and left 2 messages for my service advisor. Never heard from him. Here we are again. Brake lights messed up and turn signals were never fixed. This dealership is a joke. Very unhelpful.
After bringing in my car for a recall inspection, service worker Eduardo Solis was incredibly rude. I did not appreciate the way he talked to me, as he seemed to take advantage that I was a young female. It is sad people like him work in customer service departments especially when so much money is put into the cars we purchase. A complaint will definitely be filed, and I hope he learns from this experience because having a sour attitude gets you absolutely no where. However, I appreciate manager Patrick Stephen as he was incredibly kind and understanding regarding the matter.

All together, this team was the completely opposite of the standard impersonal, calculated dealership staff. Will recommend to all my friends and family!
I bought my car from another dealership. Had a major issue that they tried to tell me didn’t exists because they didn’t experience the same problem. After complaining about their lack of qualifications they agreed to send it to Ruben at the Hyundai dealership.Once there, it took time for them to find the problem. There was multiple theories that I was being told “could” be the problem. After a couple of days they finally figured it out and began to fix all issues. They even fixed something my original dealership worked on that failed immediately.I was so happy with Ruben and his team that I had them do other work to bring my car up to maintenance.I understand that going to the dealership is expensive but they seem to be the only ones qualified to figure out the difficult repairs. You are not paying for the location and convenience, you are paying for the experience and quality of the repairs.
Sadly, my experience was horrible. I went with my son and submitted one application. We give him permission to do one credit check it he wasn’t happy with one answer so he thought was a good idea to check many times to see I am guessing better view! Well without our permission he submitted 7 times!!! And to my son 4 times! What the heck a person need to check 7 or 4 when you have enough with 1 time only! And with who’s permission!!! I am so mad and so disappointed. Now my credit score suffered a 7 hard copies!! My credit score went down 30 points!!!Don’t recommend this place it all! Not even mention Finance Manager Martinez. Experience 0!!! If you are looking for a good service and better understanding go to Red McCombs Toyota. At least they follow and respect the costumer needs

Had a price of 42000 for a Palisade advertised online. I have bought many cars I never pay sticker price ..they said they had added nolitrous to the tires and other add ons I said dont want the add ons..didnt come back with counter offer..they can keep their vehicles..I went somewhere else..
I love the fact they took care of me and showed me what I wanted to see with no hassle. The place needs to be better organize but overall the salesman and manager did a great job.
The efforrt is there to try to satisfy the customer. They just need some fine tuning. The customer service experience is quick; but sometimes you need to ask for a an explanation of services. Their waiting area is small but you have access to some free coffee. And their customer shuttle service is superb and driver Mo is always courteous and on time--a big plus with me.
Red McCombs Hyundai is the best in town. Ive always had and will continue to have the relationship we always have. That sales team is above the rest and are always more than great when it comes to making sure my familys needs are taken care of. try them out and you wont be dissapointed. BAIT AND SWITCH!I have been looking for a care for my mother, a hard working nurse, and came across a vehicle on TrueCar. The vehicle seemed like a good price so I asked for an offer, which was sent to me via email yesterday night with an expiration date of 3/23/2021. I call this morning to make a appointment to purchase the vehicle and I drive from Corpus Christi to San Antonio on my day off today. I arrive and test drive the vehicle and ask to get the paperwork ready. When sales associate Joseph Hunter Lee brings me the bill the price of the car is now $2000 more than the offer I was given by email. I show him the offer I was already given and what I drove up for and he says he cant sell the car to me at that price. I ask to speak to his sales manager. Sales Manager Michael Esteves comes in and tells me the offer was incorrect and when I show them that the offer says it comes straight from RedMcCombs he blames it on a third party and proceeds to offer me the vehicle at only $1000 over the offer I had first received. I say I want to speak to his manager. General Sales Manager Matthew Siudy comes in and says that he doesnt have to sell me a car or honor the offer and that he can change the price whenever he wants. This was a total bait and switch, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH RedMcCombs

The Service Department fails time and time again. Customer Service is NOT important to them.Took two weeks to get an appointment for an Oil Change...Two hour wait time for a 7 minute job. An additional 15 minutes for the Service Advisor to close out paper work (Interestingly enough, three advisors greeted me upon my arrival...yet took ten minutes before anyone offered any help). Completely unacceptable. Take your business elsewhere.

We worked with Paul Flores. He’s been working with us for months. I waited for my husband to come back from military trainings and he was patient with us and worked at our pace. He went above and beyond to meet our needs and definitely don’t regret coming back to this location to purchase our second Hyundai and being able to work with him specifically! We also worked with a man in finance who was great with the information and providing docs. Both very professional.This experience was way better than the last car purchase at this location back in 2016. Paul really isn’t pushy like other salesmen have been in other locations, and most definitely knows his products. I would recommend you ask for him even if you’re just wanting to browse or test drive. Paul does great following up too!
What an awful experience 😢 We bought a 2016 Nissan Versa from them this month. It has broke down three times now with serious problems (alternator, serpentine belt, battery, spark plugs, CVT flush etc). They told us that it passed all inspections. We’ve gotten to drive it less than a week in the past month. We’ve had to have it towed three times. We’ve asked them for help. They refused to do anything. The car had a cracked windshield when you we purchased it. They replaced the windshield. And the seal is popping out on both sides. Now we have to bring it in again and have them fix it. I have called and called and called them. They do not return calls. When I finally get someone to talk to me, they say they will talk with someone else and call me back. They do not call back. Our car still has the temporary plates. What a bummer to buy a car that is in bad mechanical condition. Red McCombs do not stand behind their cars that they sell. They do not care that I was stranded on the side of the road with my elderly father-in-law in the heat without air-conditioning. They only seem to care that they sold the car. Besides what we put down on the car and paid for the car, we are out another couple of thousand dollars. We did purchase the extended warranty. However most of what needed done is not covered under the warranty. Be aware that you might be buying a lemon if you purchase here. We were told the car was in good condition. We found out the car was not in good condition. We did test drive the car. It had a little squeal in the belt. I asked them to fix it. They said it was fine. It still squealed. I asked them again to fix it. They said there was nothing wrong with it and to put some grease on it and it won’t squeal. Otherwise the car seemed to be in fine shape. When I asked about the inspection, they said they do a 12 point inspection and not a 17 point inspection. This car passed that inspection.We are very disappointed in purchasing this car from this dealership. As of today, this car is still at a Nissan dealer in the service shop being repaired. At a minimum, we think they should have helped with a rental car, some of the repairs, or at least returned phone calls and taken care of their customer.

Unless you are prepared to fight on every number, I caution you to avoid, especially if you are Military.In late May, I went to this location to see about leasing their Ioniq Blue. Ernesto, the salesman, showed me nothing but disregard. He refused to answer any questions, and continually lied to my face about prices.Since I walked out, he has called me twice to try and beg me to come back and save face. Dont bother even walking in.

My experience was both good and bad. I ended up buying a new 2022 Santa Fe, which we a very happy with. But the buying process was not without some problems.First I had researched a 2021 White Santa Fe that was in their website, I asked the salesman to see the car and gave him the stock number. He said let me go check and see if it’s here. When he came back he told me that it was at the Red McCombs on 410 ( Superior) and that it was sold the day before. Okay so why is it still listed? Now a week later it is still listed on the website at Superior on 410, so I called them and gave them the same stock number and was told it was on the lot and available!! WHAT!!! I can’t believe that they lied to my face just to sell a car that was on their lot. Believe it!!Another sour thing was what they did with the offer on my two cars I traded in. I had previously gotten a offer from CarMax to buy my cars. The difference that Red McCombs offered me was just nowhere near what I was offered. I told the salesman what we were offered from CarMax and his offer was unacceptable. He said I wil be right back. He and their appraiser came back and apologized for the mistake and said he just made a mistake on the addition of the numbers. Really, I think they didn’t know I knew how much the cars were worth and would not know any better.It pays to do your research before you go and look at cars. Would I have bought the White 2021 if they told me the truth? Probably. But we are happy with the one we bought.Okay it’s time for my follow up. Since my initial buying experience we have had some things happen that required the purchase of another new or used car. Just let me say that at first there was some doubt if I would give this dealership another opportunity. After several conversations with Matthew ( GSM) I decided to purchase another car from the dealership. This experience has been nothing but great. Rene our salesman has done everything possible to get us into another car. But despite all the efforts to find me a car, through no fault of the dealership they just didn’t have the color or features we were looking for. The dealerships inventories are just not what they use to be due to the chip shortage etc.We did locate the the model and color at another dealership and was very sorry Northwest Hyundai didn’t have the one we wanted. The staff will do everything they can to please you, I highly recommend this dealership.

Worse service ever! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM!! I just recently bought a used car from engine light comes on the next day! Thinking because it has warranty if anything is wrong it will be covered, wrong!!! I just bought the vehicle in January and have been given a diagnosis of a bad catalytic converter which will cost me 3000 to be fixed. Manager will not help to get it covered under warranty! They have given me a hard time and wont budge. This is robbery and I will not sit back and allow folks to take advantage of me!!!

Had a great experience buying my Palisade here this week. Hunter and Paul were great and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. The color I wanted was not available in their inventory but they checked if they had any in transit, which they did. When the vehicle arrived I received a call and a picture letting me know when it would be available. I would recommend this dealership 100% especially if you work with Hunter or Paul.
My check engine light turned on in the hill country while on vacation but tge Service Team at Red McCombs Hyundai promptly took a look and saw that it was a sensor error (my car thought it was in trouble but it wasnt) which was causing a false check engine light. Thank you for getting me in and out quickly so that I could return to my vacation and drive home safely!!! I wish I could give 100 STARS!!!!
All the warranty and service offers they throw in with a new car purchase doesnt matter if they cant take care of small things for 2 weeks out. Even for wiper arm replacement. Which means we have no car because it hasnt stopped raining for a month. Also, 119.00 for one wiper blade?? Sales experience was good but service is seriously a tragically confusing and insulting experience.

It has been a little over a month since we bought our 2021 Hyundai Tucson Sport. Words cant explain how great of a team helped make our first time buying a car so amazing! Second time going to this location for maintenance with two different vehicles. The first time a coil pack was replaced and I asked for an oil change. It was on the paper work to do an oil change. When I picked up my vehicle and was driving home I noticed the receipt didn’t have an oil change charge. I called and confirmed they did not do my oil change. The biggest issue for me is I don’t live close by and I work. Therefore, it doesn’t make it convenient for me to come back another day like it was suggested. That was over a year ago. So with my new Elantra my maintenance light came on for its first complimentary maintenance. Decided to schedule with them again to give benefit of doubt. Well..called and scheduled through blue link. They informed me I had two recalls, so those were scheduled with my first maintenance. I called about 1.5 hour before my appointment to see how long it would be just in case I could wait there. He informed me one of my updates would be about 1.5 hours and the other I believe 2.5 hours. I get to the service desk and then I get told my vehicle wouldn’t be ready until the next day, which I need it for work the next day. So yes I’m upset because the person I spoke to on the phone could have told me that so I could reschedule accordingly. Of course it’s Im sorry for the inconvenience. I had my fiancé follow me in my other vehicle. So now instead of wasting time and gas for one vehicle I wasted time and gas for two vehicles and my fiancé.
Loved buying my new Tucson from Red McCombs Hyundai!! Max was super helpful, friendly and not pushy. He listened to what I wanted and helped make the deal happen!! He also spent time helping me get to know the features and set up the car!! Loved everything about this sales experience.
On May 26th, I leased a Hyundai sonata car from red McCombs and traded my car. While leasing and signing documents, my friend and I have few questions, and we started asking a person named FABIAN from the finance department. He keeps on saying if you dont want, you can leave. Instead of answering my questions, moreover, he doesnt answer my question. He calls his colleagues and asks about the amounts (which we asked for in the documents unknown amount information). While signing papers, I mentioned I have to leave for another state by the end of the day. With his rude behavior, I completed signing the agreement papers. After a couple of days, I called them regarding account information for the payments. Then FABIAN mentioned I have to sign another document that he forgot to give me when I was there and said we would send papers with the overnight shipping process. I have waited for a couple of days, and I didnt receive it yet, and I made another call to speak with FABIAN he didnt respond and forwarded my need to Manager Matt.He mentioned the same thing would receive by tomorrow, but I didnt receive it. And I have been trying to reach them for the past 20 days. I didnt get a response from the Finance department FABIAN or Manager Matt.I have sent Voice mails and Emails as well. They didnt respond to me at least once after that... I learned that Both FABIAN and MATT mentioned they are not interested in talking with me, from one of their colleagues.This is entirely unacceptable, and leasing has not been completed yet, and I dont have my old car loan paid off. I WONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FULL OF BIASED PEOPLE.

Love this place their customer service is great! My husband and I went to Red Combs on 410 looking for information on vehicles since he bought his truck there a while back, they made it so easy for him while other dealerships were making it difficult for him due to his credit. I went because I was interested in looking for a future vehicle as I want to trade my suv. Lilian was so informative and helped me with anything I wanted to know about the vehicles. Will definitely be coming back for our future vehicles and recommending to friends and family!
Showed up to look at a car, nobody was at the front desk and we were ignored by salespeople when we were trying to find one. Distinctly recall one salesperson watching videos on their computer and ignoring us walking by. We came over an hour before closing. Very poor experience.

Bought a vehicle from here in 2019. Just sold the vehicle and I have been trying to contact the finance department for a week to get my extended warranty back. All I get is transferred to a line that no one answers. And I don’t live in the area anymore, therefore I can’t go into the dealership. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Service department at this dealership is exceptional. Sales dept was a disappointment when attempting to buy another Hyundai (vehicle has been great). This was some time ago, so hopefully its changed.
I moved to San Antonio last month and needed to get my car serviced before starting my new job. I called them and kept getting voicemail, so I left 2 messages to speak to the service person. Never heard back, but I figured I’d give them the benefit of doubt and used the chat option on the website. That person assured me that someone would contact me …. 2 weeks later and I still have not been contacted. I reached out to World Hyundai in Live Oak got through on the first try. 🤷♂️
I bought a Sonata and had a great experience with the Salesman Paul Flores. The wait for financing was a little long but it was due to one of the finance managers having an emergency so I cant fault them for that.
