I’ve been with this company for almost 2 years now and the first thing that comes to mind is how thankful I am to work with Marsha and the TradeSTAR company. I came in green not knowing a single thing about low voltage and now as I’m nearing my 2 year mark I’m confident enough to say that everything I’ve learned as helped me get to where I am at the moment. Since day one I’ve had help and ACTUAL people that listen and not some automated recording. Even more so they kept me with work though the whole pandemic, and even helped me when I did test positive for covid. Very understanding and polite! If looking for a solid place for work and enjoy people this is a place I’d recommend. Plus what other companies do you know that calls just to see how you were doing? None. And that’s why I firmly believe that if you’re willing to work hard, this is the job for you.

Great company, and amazing staff, definitely recommend going with them, they’ll get you set up quickly with various amazing companies they partner with, i’m at where i’m at right now cause of tradestar, so i thank them for that

This company is Horrible!!! Communication is HORRIBLE!!!! At the start off the pandemic I was “fired” without any reason why. After work one day I was told to turn in my badge for the company I was working for the guy ( who was also a temp for Tradestar) didn’t even say why. At the moment I thought “hey no biggie”…..WRONG!!! I called and emailed for two weeks straight no answer then finally one day ?Marsha? West called to ask what happened I told here everything I knew (which was basically nothing) so she told me she’ll find out for me. Soooo I waited aaaannnddd WAITED!!! Nothing at all. So I gave up and decided to try for unemployment until I get another job. Well I couldn’t get any assistance because TRADESTAR told them I never informed them that I wasn’t working which was a load of bull.

Love this place I’ve been working with them for years Marsha is Awesome. I’m going to miss working with you hope to see you again .

Best job I have ever had. This company literally changed my life and has done the same for a lot of other people that work in low voltage trades around Texas. I encourage everyone that is looking to get into one of the low voltage trades to check this place out. There are people all over San Antonio running work on these construction sites that got their start in the business as entry level helpers through TradeSTAR. Now they are skilled tradesmen. Free training too... Like anywhere else, not everyone gets a job...

Ive worked under Trade Star for almost two years now. New to the industry with little to no experience. Theyve been very helpful in making me marketable and training me with some basic knowledge to help get me started. A couple of months ago the company I was working for had to lay me off because of the Covid-19 pandemic. I had all but a couple of hours to stress and worry about what I was going to do for work before I received a call from Marsha (from TradeStar). She took the time to talk to me assesses my skill level and reassure me she was going to find work for me, within an hour I had a job interview with another company and started work the following Monday at my same wage. Its comforting to know that theres a team of people out there looking out for you and doing some of the leg work. Thanks for everything Marsha and TradeStar!

Great place to work and find opportunities with contractors around San Antonio.After almost 16 years traveling around the country wiring buildings for a company based out of San Antonio I was ready to get off the road. I answered an ad that TradeSTAR was running and was surprised to find out they were a staffing firm when I came in to interview. I almost walked out - but Im glad I didnt. 10 years later and going strong.Ive never seen a staffing company that actually specializes in low voltage cabling and has people from the trades working to recruit and place candidates (until I came here). If youre a hard worker and are about making money by working hard on the jobsite then youll excel... If your intention is just to make beer money, be unreliable, and act like a clown then youll find yourself without a job, punching a raccoon so you can steal its sandwich...Obviously its not for everyone judging by some of the other reviews but dont believe everything you read. Go see for yourself. Theres a reason theyve been around for 15 years and work with every contractor worth their salt in the San Antonio area.

Great place to work and very good co-workers specially Kevin Smith he has always been very helpful on any questions and concerns that I had all this time. Definitely this place had change my life for good its a very good company to work with, really dont go by others what they say it is before giving an opportunity.

Good people, always give me work when i needed it & now I’m hired on to a company that they had me temp. Brittany and Kevin in the office always go out their ways to assist in any way possible !

I worked for trade star for about 8 months and I was able to learn a trade I will know for the rest of my life. Mrs.Bostick was extremely helpful in finding me jobs, and making sure I had steady work. Thank you for everything!

Job was posted at 18-20 an hour. After spending hours of time in office and passing a drug test I then received a call that it would only be in the 15-17 range. Day before the job started I was then offered $13 an hour. This place is is an absolute joke!DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Like the other people said, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, they will want you to, Come in for an interview and talk. Thats about it. The jobs they DO have, are more entry level and will give you the run around if you try to get an entry job. They dont care about you, but they do care about how much money they can profit of you. ☝

These people fired me with out even telling me I was a hard worker and never was late when many other people where. They didnt even give a reason to why they fired me. They have destroyed my life and my mom kicked me out so I have no wher to live anymore

They helped my husband find work during a really difficult time. We will forever be grateful!

Very unprofessional experience. The lady Cynthia - who does interviews, passed to other representatives that I had bad mouthed employers that they worked with. And lied about what I said. I did contact another trade star and will talk to corporate and her higher ups. Very unacceptable.

These peoples pranked my dad, they done fired him and now were homeless. I had to kick a raccoon in the face and steal his sandwich to survive. Thanks tradestar
