Our house was struck by lightning may 3rd. I had to file a claim . Claim rep asked us to get diagnostic of computer along with tv and our security system. I found Mr Guerra on Google. And I’m so happy I did . Extremely professional, definitely knew what he was talking about . After talking with Fred (the father) he recommended his son Robert to come in out in look at our tv and security system. I can certainly say this family owned business knows their stuff . ZERO STARS. DO NOT GO TO THIS REPAIR SHOP FOR YOUR LAPTOP. Brought my $1400 Lenovo Yoga 2-in-1 laptop in to replace a slightly cracked touch screen. The laptop worked as good as always except that two spots on the screen did not respond to touch. But I was able to use it for everything else with mouse and touchpad. My husband brought it there because they had fixed a desktop pc and replaced the hard drive in an older laptop of ours. They kept my Lenovo laptop there for FOUR MONTHS, never returned my phone calls or texts. My husband went to the store at least 4-5 times, and Fred kept telling him that he had to order another screen. Supposedly he ordered 3 screens - 1 was the wrong screen, the 2nd one didn’t work, and the 3rd one supposedly worked but then the laptop kept shutting itself off. He kept saying let me keep working on it, Ill get it fixed. I found out from a Lenovo authorized repairman (I should have gone there first) that the repeated attempts to replace the screen without taking proper precautions against electrostatic shock WITHOUT REMOVING THE BATTERY FIRST will cause a motherboard to burn out. This is something that every computer repair person should know. Yet Fred insists that it was the power cord that fried the motherboard. Well, lets see if the battery had been removed as it should have been, then the power cord would not have shorted out the laptop, no? Obviously, he didnt remove the battery before replacing the screen, and now he won’t take the responsibility for burning out the capacitor and motherboard by his ineptness. Now I have a $1400 laptop that is completely taken apart and not worth repairing. It would cost $900 to replace the motherboard from Lenovo. He can do simple stuff like replacing a power supply or a hard drive, not something delicate like a touch screen.

These are the nicest people you will ever meet. Bless these gentlemen. They fixed my phone in no time.

Thesw guys know what they are doing they fixed my phone in 15min when 3 other companies could not do it. My laptop waa fixed in 4hrs when the other company said it was no good and to buy another.

Wow! I dont know where to begin. We brought 2 laptops here of Feb 2020. We gave them lots of grace, since covid hit. Never where we ever called, we had to constantly call/text and it was a hit or miss if we ever got ahold of anyone. 1 laptop was finally picked up November of 2020. Still did not work. And they lost our other laptop. As per usual, we were told they would get back to us when they could find it. Weve completely given up on the other laptop. Its almost been a year. Do not take anything here that is important to you. So disappointed.

Wow! What a great business! I took in my laptop after having a large update making my laptop run slowly and gave me a black screen. Now its working faster than it ever has before! Robert was great at explaining what my laptop needed and what needed to be serviced. Highly recommend.

I had a really great experience here. My computer was repaired faster than I thought it would take and I got back an even better computer. He fixed the glitching, repaired a piece that had broken off and added updates to make my computer run faster and look newer. I thought it was going to cost a fortune but I was surprised by how reasonable the cost was. I will definitely be a return customer for any future repairs.

This company is amazing they fixed my very expensive MacBook Pro and the cost was much less than any other company. The 5 stars is not enough to give this company everyone else wanted 3 times much more than this company. The forensics guy is amazing at what he does hands down the best tech I have ever seen do a complete job and didnt ask for lots of money.

He explained the repair process and what should be expected. He was able to recover all of my lost data. Very knowledgeable and very helpful. I would go back to them again in the future!

Where did these guys come from?? They had me fixed and going same day. The company forensics technician Robert is a wizard at cyber security and fixed me up with top notch credentials to make sure my emails and internet was fully protected. I took my computer to different locations and they were going to charge me over 150.00 to fix it. I brought it here and paid much less and got it back same day with all issues resolved.

My computer needed a screen replacement. He told me that he would have it ready for me the next day. I called the next day and the computer wasn’t ready. With interactions continuing with me calling and him telling me that he would have it ready next day. He did not call me once and give me an update about my laptop. I picked my laptop up after a month. Wasn’t fixed. I took it to another computer repair place and it was fixed that day. There were screws removed from my laptop that didn’t need to be removed by this repair tech. I wouldn’t advise anyone to bring any electronic here for repair.

These guys are amazing at what they do. Our network was down and we called 7 companies including the geek squad and Altex. None of them were able to fix our network. The forensics technician Robert came out and had us completely fixed up in 12 minutes. These guys even fixed and troubleshooted our computers to make sure everything was working correctly and accurately. JOB WELL DONE ROBERT!!!

I went to many stores during this pandemic crisis. This company was the only one open and they attended to my computer immediately. They serviced my Mac and had it all fixed same day. All issues I had we resolved and it is now working at 100% like it should be. With apple closed and other stores closed this company is by far highly recommended by everyone I know which was very impressive.

I want to start this review by saying that the person I worked with was very kind and seemed to understand what was going on. However, my initial “3-5 day” estimate when I dropped off my computer was actually around a 23 day endeavor before I got a call from the shop- this was for a power supply replacement. The delay was a big deal for me since I had planned to have my computer back for finals (2 weeks after I dropped it off). I also am living in Dallas, so I did not appreciate the lack of communication that this job might take more time. If it’s going to take 3 weeks, DONT tell me 5 days, I’ll just go somewhere else!At the end of it all, on my third time to the shop to pick up the computer, it was “finished”. Unfortunately, at some point during its time in the shop, my battery had “gone out”. By the way, job I requested was replacing a part in the power connection, not a new battery. We are still not sure if the battery was shorted during repairs or just by coincidence at that time, and I will never know. He did open the computer in front of us and was nice to explain the situation, but he did that without a static bracelet, which made us consider the possibility of other parts being damaged during repair.What I DO know is that I paid a good amount of money for a computer that still has power issues, and ones that I didn’t have before. Guess what- I replaced the battery afterwards with a brand new one! And it still doesn’t turn on!There is clearly another (perhaps repair related) issue at hand, and I’m not waiting another 3 weeks to find out what it is. Thanks.

Took my dell computer in for a hard drive issue. Couple hours go by no call. I stopped by and asked about it. He said he ran a diagnostic and everything looked fine. He said he will look at it and give me call. Keep in mind I have everything on this computer. Important and special pictures of my girlfriend and my family from long ago that can’t be retaken. He calls and say that they figured out the issue and that it is ready for pick up. So I said cool, I was aware of the price to fix the computer for worst case scenario. That’s not a concern at all. I get there and everything on my computer is erased. EVERYTHING! Not once did he call and said we have to wipe your computer you will loose everything is that okay? Not once then says well for 200-250 I can get your pictures back. Hell no I’m not paying you 250 to get my own pictures back that you erased and didn’t even ask me. So after I told him that he said well if I knew that I would have went a different route well that’s why you call and ask!!! I work at a mechanic shop we have to call and keep the customer informed what may happen if something is done or not done. Very poor service!

These guys are very good and really fast. If you need your work done on your computer, cell phones or tablets this is definitely your go to store. I have gone and done research at 7 different locations and everyone just comes up with excuses and tries to take your money. These guys got it done very quickly and at a way better price than anyone else in town plus they are honest and upfront with you as a customer. Customer service is beyond a 5 star rating. As I was there waiting fro my computer the techs were teaching on the dos and do nots on my Mac. They teach everything even the big companies do not. Even the cops were there to get help from the computer stores cyber forensics team on something I guess they were working on for the police. That was beyond amazing because the cops said thank you very much to them as well. Yes this company earned my respect and business for a very long time

I have a tablet i was told was worthless due to a Virus. I brought my tablet to this store and Robert gladly said he would take a look at it. These guys are the greatest and experts on what they do. Finally a company that treats you like a customer and teaches you about your computer and its software. I went to other companies before I found these guys. I highly recommend this place. I just read a review about a guy on here that says he was going to be charged alot for his hard drive. I was there when this kid was there and the truth is he crashed his computer and he was told his data could not be recovered quickly and it will take sometime but there is a fee for it. Very sad something that was his fault and not the stores or the techs fault he gave this store a on star. Very hard to believe.

Quickly fix power adapter issue on Alienware laptop for lot cheaper (less than 100) than Dell wanted to charge (almost 200). Now my go to fixer.

Fred Guerra is a genius and very personable. I was having problems after trying to install a new SSD drive. The computer would not post. He fixed it in a day and enabled the system to use all the cpu cores rather than just one, the default setting. My computer is flying now. I also asked him about a problem I was having on another computer. Went home and fixed it.

Laptop needed power connector replaced. Geek Squad said $200 including shipping, 2 weeks at least. Computer Repair Plus took care of it for about 1/3 the cost and turn around was less than a week - only took that long because they had to order part.
