BRC Remodeling did our entire house in San Antonio. They turned it from a duplex to a single family home. They re-did all the walls, kitchen, bathrooms, fixed the foundation, refinished the floors, changed the roof, and created an addition to the back of the house in order to increase the square footage. Their professionalism, quality work, and attention to detail made them really stand out. They truly are a fantastic company led by really good, ethical, and honest people. They finished our home with thoughtful touches, such as adding built-in window benches and a shiplap wall using reclaimed wood from the house in order to modernize it while keeping its Craftsman Bungalow charm. I absolutely love my home and Im so happy with their work! I would for sure recommend BRC Remodeling!

BRC did a great job for us. We hired them to remove an office, replace/repair our drop ceiling and add ceiling fans to our facility. They were very professional completed the job on time, at estimated costs. I had used them before to replace the roof and complete electrical repairs and they proved they were more than capable then, and after this job I will be contacting them in the future as we continue to improve our facility.

They charge $65 for there estimates.I wanted to give everyone a heads up that there estimates are not detailed at all. They put down all the work requested and a flat price for it all!If youre in a budget and need something, where you can go down the list and drop certain jobs off, to leve it more affordable to the money that you have available, you should consider another company that will go the extra mile for you.I tried reaching out to them by email to see, how much it would be to adjust the project to the bear minimum, thats important to me, a week ago and I havent heard back from them yet. Im imaging that its to much for me to ask.BRC, If you still want to reach out to me after this review, forget about it. You lost me already as a customer.

We hired BRC Remodeling Group to demo and rebuild a 2 story wraparound porch on my mother’s 100 year old house. They did an outstanding job! The team was friendly and respectful of my mom’s property in that they cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. We asked for a couple of changes along the way and Vernon was quick to incorporate those changes. I especially appreciated the great communication from Beatrice, the one who keeps it all together :-). Thank you BRC for making the process flow so easily.

During the winter storm of the Vernon offered to send out some of his employees to assist the neighbors in Dignowity Hill if they were having any plumbing problems since a lot of pipes were breaking and lost of a people were with out water and power. I saw the post and put it in the back of my mind later that day I was talking to my mom and she told me that our water heater had went out but she wasn’t sure if it was just the pilot light that had blew out from the wind or something more. My dad was unable to check it out as he was dealing with health issues, she being elderly has her own medical problems that cause her limitations and me myself I really have no idea how to begin with lighting a hot water heater. I told her about the post I had saw earlier that day and got the number to BRC group. We called and spoke to Beatrice and she stated she would see if she could get some one out. She soon called back and started she wasn’t able to get anyone out that evening but the next morning the owner Vernon would come check it out we set the appointment. He arrived in a timely manner and it was a simple fix as it was just the pilot that needed to be relit. We were very pleased with the service provided and my mom says she will definitely be calling aging next time she needs something worked on.

A closet needed to be reinforced due to shifting foundation. The closet walls were secured and the interior of the closet finished out with shelves and clothing rod. work was done well and within the timeframe agreed upon.

It was a real pleasure to have a company like BRC to help finish building our backyard deck. After our first contractor failed to deliver a finish product, we called BRC and they were more than happy to take on the job. Their staff not only delivered a beautiful finished product within the allotted time, but they were knowledgeable, polite and helpful through this very stressful project. I was incredibly pleased by the cleanliness of the work area; the staff cleaned their work area at the end of each working day. And the owner come out and walked the job site to ensure we were satisfied with our new deck. BRC did an excellent job!!

Vernon & gang did a wonderful job of turning an ugly, bug filled screened in porch into a beautiful cathedral ceiling enclosed sunporch/catio. His crew were wonderful to work with, all very respectful & courteous & made the process as smooth as possible. Anything I needed/wanted/or changed, they handled effortlessly. BRC did a complete bathroom remodel for us in 2019. The project was to update a second bathroom to be suitable for guests but also stand up to daily use by young children. In addition, we wanted to reconfigure some space that was taken up by an awkward built-in. The BRC team was really attentive to how the space would be used, and the end result is just what we were hoping for - spacious, bright, and sturdy enough for kids. We appreciated that our questions during the process were all addressed in a thorough and timely way. It was a pleasure to work with BRC and we would definitely consider this company again for future renovation plans.

Im not sure if they do great work or not. I was interested in hiring them until I found out they charge $65 just for a quote. No one else in this industry does that anymore!

BRC did various repairs on my home including replacing doors, replacing rotten wood, and plumbing work. They did a great job. They completed the repairs quickly and for a fair price. The cost of the plumbing work was significantly less than what other plumbers had estimated. The customer service was also great. They quickly responded to any questions I had and were very friendly and professional.

UNORGANIZED AND INEFFICIENT! I would not waste my valuable time with this company ever again. Vernon was 45 minutes late to a survey appointment I had schedule a week prior. The owner of the home is a VA family physician who lives on a very tight schedule and we wasted time with this company.I asked over 5 times via text/phone with Beatrice for the estimate/SOW to be sent over so that the homeowner could make a reasonable decision on which company we want to use for the project...they never followed through or sent us ANYTHING even after I asked them multiple times for the estimate! Why did you even bother waste anyones time if you dont respect your own schedule much less anyone elses? This would have been potentially a $6-7k project for their company and it was on a home valued at $900k+. It appears their company isnt very organized and are overworking themselves or are just so busy they can choose to not even respond with estimates on projects. Potential Prospects beware!! No thanks. Our kitchen is perfect. Thanks to the BRC team, our simple cookie cutter home has a beautiful kitchen. The craftsmanship on our island is especially outstanding. We were working on other parts of the house at the same time the BRC team was working on the kitchen (flooring, painting, etc.). BRC was happy to coordinate their work around our needs. We did have a few small concerns which we raised directly with them and it was addressed immediately and professionally. Our project ended pretty much on schedule (a few days past the agreed date but I always felt that they were doing what they needed to get done in the time they needed to get it done right). We are very happy customers and highly recommend BRC. We have other projects in mind and will definitely be seeking their services again.

After soliciting multiple quotes for a kitchen and master bath remodel we chose BRC Remodeling. Ultimately we went with the kitchen only and delayed the master bath to a later date. Kitchen remodels are expensive and we wanted it done right as we dont intend on doing this again anytime soon. Total cost was roughly $48K for a complete gut, design and remodel including opening up a large section of wall along the living room opening doorways and building out an island that didnt previously exist (every appliance location moved) we also included some new LVP flooring that we didnt originally anticipate. Cabinets are exceptional, all custom soft close doors, Lazy Susan, pull-outs, draws for pots and pans...So very worth it for the custom cabinetry. We purchased our own appliances so only the install was included in the remodel price. Overall it was a real pleasure working with Vernon, Oscar and Beatrice. They were very responsive and eager to please. Communication was great and the work crews were very pleasant and respectful.I want to say something about the design process. BRC uses a designer not part of the company, the process is a little slow and you will pay $3600 upfront for designs and renderings with potentially more invoicing outside of the contract you sign with BRC. You are made well aware of this upfront. Just budget appropriately because we ended up paying roughly $5100 for designs and renderings (which is probably reasonable considering we got designs for a kitchen and master bath), just know depending on the scope of your project the design/renderings cost may grow. What we ended up with in terms of design is probably the best solution for our space, but it did come at a cost.Bottom line though...We are quite happy with our new kitchen and get WOWS every time we have a visitor over! I want to stress again how great it was working with Vernon, Oscar and Beatrice...We would certainly recommend BRC to friends or family and certainly consider using them again for other projects.

We hired BRC Remodeling Group to repair our shower in the upstairs bathroom. They repaired a hole, put in new tile, and installed new shower fixtures. They did a wonderful job. Very professional. Finished in a timely manner. Cleaned up after themselves. We were very pleased. You will be glad you hired them.

We just completed a master bath remodel with BRC. It couldnt have turned out any better. It looks like something out of a magazine. In our situation, we picked out and purchased most of the materials ourselves and hired BRC to do the labor. We were very pleased from the start. Their subcontractors were always there when they were expected and always courteous. They ALL worked hard. No slackers in the group. Some didnt even bother to eat lunch. BRC was very flexible in working with us on arrival times. We had our tub replaced with a walk in shower, new vanity, mirrors, ceramic tile floors and lighting installed. All of it took about 3 weeks to complete. The job was completed on time. No surprises in the end. Overall a pleasant experience. Would use them again and would recommend them to friends and family. Vernon & his workers did an awesome job on my addition & porch. We are enjoying them so much everyday. We hear compliments all the time. What a quality!! Two thumbs up!!

The work was excellent. Workers put our bathrooms back together after a leak from the upstairs shower to the downstairs bathroom ceiling. The leak was fixed by the plumbers but our upstairs bathroom shower stall needed to be re-tiled where the tiles had been removed to find the leak and the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom needed to be replaced as it had a gaping hole. The shower tiles were matched, hardiebacker board installed to prevent further leaks and shower re-grouted and sealed. The downstairs bathroom ceiling was repaired, repainted and crown moulding applied and now looks better than the original. Appreciated the excellent work, the competitive quote, the great communication from the office and repairman regarding what work we wanted done and the beautiful finished product. The whole process from requesting a quote to finished work went smoothly and was at a great price.

BRC recently replaced some wood siding on the exterior of our house. Vernon, Beatrice and the rest of the staff were very professional and offered friendly service. The contractors were very friendly, did excellent work, and completed the job in a timely manner. We will definitely call BRC the next time we have any home repair or remodeling needs.

BRC was contracted to pour two walkways and a cement pad in my backyard. The cost was reasonable and competitive. The crew was courteous and timely in which the job was completed on time. I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family.

Great remodeling company! No matter what the job is BRC knows how to do it professionally and their estimates are very affordable. We had our master bathroom remodeled by BRC in June and we are very happy with the whole experience. We will definitely be using BRC for our future projects.

My wife and I are real estate investors, aiming to buy discounted (i.e., distressed) houses, rent them for a couple years, and then sell them. I have worked with BRC on several houses since 2013, and I highly recommend them for any job big or small. One recent house involved a large initial rehab three years ago, and after a smaller make-ready a few months ago, it just sold at full market value. They offer fair pricing, are realistic with their scheduling and time-frames, and I have noticed them go above and beyond consistently. I look forward to calling them to work on future houses for years to come. Update: we recently (October, 2018) hired them to do some work on our personal homestead, and are very pleased with their work.

We hired BRC remodeling to do a complete remodel of our 1960’s master and guest bathroom. This involved a total tear down of existing cabinetry, flooring, walk in shower etc. Remodel included custom cabinetry, granite counter tops, new tile/flooring, new tub/toilets and glass doors for shower and around tub. Lighting was updated, and they also replaced a regular door to master bath with a sliding door and rebuilt parts of our walk-in closet to accommodate new cabinetry. Here are my thoughts about specific issues:Cost: I got bids from several companies, BRC was reasonable for scope of project.Design Team: Working with the design team in the beginning was a plus because both bathrooms are very small, and we had to have maximum use of space. The design team came up with a great plan and selected ALL the materials which I appreciated. I absolutely love the look of both bathrooms. Note: we did have an issue with the design team wanting to charge extra for additional phone calls/consults after the original design was completed but this was resolved after speaking with Vernon.Quality: All sub-contractors did good work, some better than others. Demo person was excellent. You could not even tell he was in our house-worked quietly and left area very clean. Tile workers had to re-do small areas of shower tile, but this was not a big issue. Painters were messy but BRC did provide (at no cost to us) a person to come and clean up after. All subcontractors were polite and professional.Timeliness: With any remodel project there are bound to be delays. Some of the delays in our project I felt could have been avoided. For example, tile workers did not refer to design drawings which caused them to have to redo shower niches, it also caused them to run out of floor tile and then we had to wait for additional tile to be ordered. The same thing happened with master closet build out-it was built incorrectly the first time and had to be re-built. The subcontractor for the glass shower door had to redo and then “could not find” our shower door and had to redo it again. One toilet install was delayed because the plumber showed up without the toilet, thinking we had already picked it up. We also had to wait about a week or two for our tub to be back in stock which held everything up. While these were mostly minor issues, they did contribute to the overall delay of the project. All in all, it took close to 3 months for both bathrooms to be completed which was about double the initial estimated time.Responsiveness/Professionalism: Vernon and his team really shine here. Our on-site manager Oscar was in touch with us almost every day and visited the site several times/week. He always responded quickly to calls or text messages and was completely professional and very patient with our many questions. Vernon and Oscar worked hard to resolve any issues that came up made sure that we were happy with the end result. Beatrice at the main office was also extremely polite and responsive.In the end, we are very satisfied with our new bathrooms and can recommend BRC for your next remodel project.

BRC was recommended by a friend who had remodeled their kitchen with BRC. We called the company and requested a visit for an complete interior remodeling of our 14-year-old home. From the beginning, Charnell, Vernon, and Tony were more then professional, they were also friendly. The estimate was done by the owner of the company, Vernon, and nothing that we wanted was impossible for them. Our remodeling consisted of new wood floors throughout, carpeting in bedroom, new kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances, new paint throughout with different colors in master suite and accent wall, new tile in kitchen and fireplace, new granite in kitchen and ensuite, and new glass shower enclosure in ensuite, repair and paint garage, and new lighting throughout house. The materials were of very high quality. The work was done with attention to detail. The estimate that we were given never increased unless we asked for upgrades which we did. Several times we asked for changes or upgrades and Tony, the project manager, always accommodated our requests. Even with the changes requested by us the project was completed on time as promised. This was a major renovation and we are so pleased with the work that BCR did that weve contracted them to come back next month to do phase two of our renovation. You will not go wrong hiring BCR for your construction needs. Highly recommend them.
