Spacious and with a great location. We arrived a bit early and took time to visit Tillage (a garden store) and the beer garden nearby. The shop was beautiful with a lot of natural light and staff that were full in conversation with their clients.My barber was Lindsey who was just a wonderful conversationalist that didn’t impact her attention to detail. She gave recommendations and checked in with me a long the way. Would recommend booking with Lindsey!Each operator owns their own schedule giving an option to look at multiple schedules if one doesn’t work, but did find that a little less friendly of an experience for a customer (maybe a combined schedule without needing to click between multiple would be better).

Love the whole vibe of this shop. Chuck and his team of stylist always have me looking and feeling fresh! Also try booking on Wednesday... whiskey might be involved lol.

Up until 2021, I had a friend that was cutting my hair for 15 years. Once they moved a few months ago, I was going to someone temporarily until I could find someone new who could be my new go-to person for haircuts. After a recommendation from a friend, I went to get my haircut by Viviano. Im sooooo happy with my haircut and excited to have found a barber that I want to go to for all my haircuts. He listened to what I wanted but also gave me his recommendations how to fix my previous bad haircut. Lol. I highly recommend Viviano, but also, this place in general. Such a great atmosphere!

The decor is great, the people are friendly and the music selection was perfect, and they offered me a drink when I arrived so I dont know how much more I could ask for from a barber. Lindsey did a great job and I love the haircut I left with, go visit this place!

You really can’t go wrong here. I’ve had cuts by Chuck, jerron, Viviano, and even the girls at the Broadway location.These guys book up quick so make your Appt online, a walk in is not very likely although not impossible.

I met with chuck who helped me fix some issues I had with a prior cut from a different stylist.This dude was very patient, amenable,and fun and professional.I’ll personally be back and happy to recommend this barber shopAlso their merch is pretty cute, if you’re into that kind of stuff.

I had never been to Traveler, so I decided to give it a chance out of the blue--mainly because I hadnt gotten a haircut in months and thought itd be best to see a real barber. I was able to get an appointment the day before, and Viviano did an incredible job figuring out what I want (with very little detail provided) and then giving me an awesome cut, wash, and style. The atmosphere made it even better--great music, fresh air blowing through, trains rolling past the window. Since it is on the pricier side, I wont be coming back every two weeks or anything, but Ill definitely be back when I need to get another cut.

Taylor Booth did such a great job! She is very friendly and very receptive to what her clients want! Will definitely go see her again!

I found this place right before I moved away from San Antonio and now I refuse to get my haircut anywhere else, which means I drive over an hour one way just to see Viviano. 100% worth every penny. There’s literally not a better cut/shave in all of San Antonio or Austin. Go see my boy! He’ll hook you up.

Have had my haircut by Chuck for a few years now. I love this new location that he has recently built out. It is inviting, clean, and fits in with the neighborhood. Plenty of parking, and easy to get to from downtown. I went to visit when this location first opened, and am almost for my next one. Always enjoy visiting Traveler Barbershop and talking to Chuck during my haircut.

Wonderful!!! i got my haircut by Lindsey Wright. she was very kind and personable, and gave me the EXACT cut i wanted. she took her time cutting my hair and was patient with all of my hair questions and comments. :) i have very unruly and thick/course hair with a horrendous neckline (lol!) - cutting it into a flattering short hairstyle isnt easy, but she cut it even better than i envisioned.✨ also, the location is super fun and hip, which is a total bonus. very kind service from the other employees/stylists as well (greeted with a warm hello and was told my stylist would be right with me). everyone responsibly wearing masks, too!

The staff is on top of everything! My current hair cutter there is amazing and the atmosphere of this place is just out of this world! And you get a great haircut!

Booked my appointment during covid:I was a little nervous about getting my haircut due to covid. Those nerves were swept away when I saw Chuck and the guys following all CDC guidelines. Everybody was wearing mask, barbers and customers.The vibe here is always cool. Good music, good conversation and clean cuts.

This is by far the worst haircut i’ve ever gotten. i went in around a month ago and didn’t even get the specialist i requested online. he cut my hair much shorter than i wanted and told him to and additionally he somehow cut the natural part in my hair in such a way that it just spikes up now as he tried to part it in a way that wasn’t natural to my hair. i’ve been trying to grow out the hair for the past month and it’s doing something it has never done before which is spike up to very sharp points. lastly he shaved off i don’t even know if by accident or on purpose which he never apologized for but he shaved off baby hairs in the front of my head so now i have a widows peak and it looks like i have a bald triangle on the left side of my forehead. this place is horrible in and out you’d do better going to 18|8 or the gentleman’s i mean i’d rather go to sport clips or great clips than go here again. 40 dollars are you kidding- first hire people who can actually cut hair
