I came to Brook Hollow Barbershop because I needed my haircut to be fixed, due to another barber not knowing how to do fades (see pic: before and after). Luckily, Joe was able to get me in early morning the next day to work his magic. Thank you Joe for fixing my haircut. I would definitely recommend this barbershop for fades, plus, they offer you a free drink and great/friendly environment.

My grandson Johnny is 3 and would not let anyone touch his hair. He would cry and scream. When I brought him to Joe he was so patient and kind w him that we were able to get a successful haircut w out the drama from Johnny. Joe is definitely Johnny’s guy! We will continue to go to Joe as long as we can. Johnny is no longer scared and likes getting his haircut (Only w Joe). This makes the whole family happy. Trust comes a long way. My son and I get a hair cut every other week here and LOVE the cuts and service we get! The establishment very professional and the barbers they have are a true class act! We had such a great experience with my sons haircut by James today! My 6 yr old has VERY curly hair, which was quite overdue for a cut. He is really wiggly and noisy, but James handled it no problem! He looked so handsome when it was done!Without a doubt we will be back regularly for my kiddos hair- and likely my husband will give it a shot soon also!Oh! They open EARLY - and we love that!

Although haircuts are by appointment these COVID-19 days, I was able to get the day and time I wanted. James is a great barber, but Im sure all their barbers very good. The shop uses very precise COVID-19 protocol. Staff are courteous too.

Ive tried a few barbershops in the area since I came back from living overseas and I just couldnt find the right one that would cut my hair the way I was use to getting it cut (Ive been getting fades). Finally hit jackpot at this barbershop 🙏☺️😉. The price is a bit more than I would normally pay but if you want good you go and pay for good. Sign up and ask for James if you want to leave looking sharp.

Nadine took me in immediately and handled me with such care and friendly conversation! Very attentive!! She even trimmed my eye brows, hot shaved my neck and went the extra mile with a neck massage with a hot towel Right after!! Very professional and great service!! I stopped by this barber shop early in the morning in dire need of a haircut. I was pleasantly surprised to find a clean and well decorated shop playing great music. You can tell that the owner takes pride in this shop. Even though I was a walk-in, my wait time was only a few minutes. Norma cut my hair and did a great job -- I especially enjoyed the hot towel straight edge shave of my neckline. It is great to be able to get a haircut before starting the work day. I will definitely be back to visit this barber shop.

Been going here for a while to have Nadine cut my hair. The new owner is awesome. I witnessed him come in the shop, say hello to patrons, sweep the floor in between his typical routine... but on his way out he noticed he had missed sweeping a very small area. He went back and got the broom to finish sweeping before he left after delivering checks to the staff. Thats pride in your workplace and it doesnt go unnoticed.

Ive been going there for at least 10 years. Down to earth. Reasonable prices. Just plain good haircuts at a fair price.

Mediocre beard trim. Had to ask to fade my sideburns and then she didnt go back to trim to beard to match the sideburns. There was no neck trim. I felt like she was rushing to get to the other waiting clients. I hate when I have to go home and touch up a what I pay someone else to do. Probably a good place to get a haircut but I dont recommend going there for your beard. Not the worst place Ive ever been but far from the best. Kudos for being open later though.

This shop is under new ownership which has brought a more updated and pleasant experience but also at a much higher price. A 25% increase seems a bit high, especially for those of us who have been coming for years. A gradual increase would been more welcome.

Overall Great Experience from the walk in to the walk out. Staff are very inviting and will help you become the best version of your self just thru a hair cutt! Albert Is always my go to barber! Very people oriented and will individualize the whole experience. Highly recommended will continue to make this my preferred barber shop.

Most awful experience Ive ever had. I first walked in the barber George was asleep in the chair, which was fine. I asked and made it clear I wanted a medium fade not high or too low but medium. So after making my hair cut into a chillie bowl I gave him the benefit of the doubt and let him finish. It was so horrible he left my hair way too high and way too low in the back and it was not even a fade just clippers to the side of the head. I then asked him to just bald me to fix it. He then didnt understand what cut all my hair off meant. So I asked another female there to cut all my hair off to bald my head. This is the only way I could have a decent hair cut after he messed it up was to go bald, zero all around. Do not go here horrible.

Tried it once instead of Great Clips, this place is awesome! Wont be going back there again, this is my barber shop.

Place is easy to get to.... the gentleman Cande did a very nice job on the hair cut....the draw back is that they DONT CLEAN UP BETWEEN CLIENTS. ...there is hair all over the floor with no one cleaning around their station.

Older barbers that specialize in older cuts i guess. DO NOT come here of youre looking to get a tight fade. The lady chopped me up. Lines for days.

They do not shave around the back to clean the fuzzy hair. Their soap machine is broken. Barbershop should shave otherwise might as well go to a hairstylist. Several times I have gone there because they are so close to my work, but several times there these little wild hairs left around my ears and fuzzy hair in my neck. Maybe their eyesight is getting weak. I had to go back so they could clean it. One star for three of them and five star for a lady and a gentleman.
