Ive been to this specific location a couple of times, and each time they never disappoint. Professional, clean cut (no pun intended 😁), and just so polite in general. I never have to worry when I walk in to get my hair cut, nor do I doubt the skills of every stylist who works here. Overall, Id say Im due to keep coming here for a long time 👍

After taking my 6 year old here today at around 12:20 pm to do a basic kids hair cut with a small zig zag on the side. The stylist said yeah I won’t be able to do that at all, I said ok is there anyone else that can do the basic zig zag? She asked the 2 other people and both said no. The lady also went on to tell me that’s something only a barber shop can do. When that’s not true at all. My son really wanted the design, so we walked out. I will not bring my son to this location every. We will continue to only go to the Westwood vista location where all the stylist there are able to do his hair cut.

Very bad DONT GO HERE discrimination against autistic people . Went here to get my autistic brothers hair cut because I like the way they had did my dads and boyfriends hair before. I scheduled an appointment with Ashily when my dad proceeded to sit down after checking in Ashily came to the desk see my little brother has a tendency to not be able to sit still I’m guessing she saw and didn’t want to cut his hair so without letting us know anything she took us off the bored and took her next customer in line instead my dad proceeded to ask what happened and was rudely ignored by the staff. See my little brother loves haircuts enough to sit through them, he actually loves to hold full conversation with his stylist. I had to turn around and tell my little brother he could not get a haircut there. I guess they don’t like to serve autistic people.

Worst haircut I’ve ever gotten, sports clips is usually so consistent that I don’t mind going in areas I’m not used to. Asked for a simple high fade and they left the top of the fade way too long and didn’t allow me the opportunity to ask for it shorter.

Check in online so barely had to wait to sit in a chair. Didnt go with the full service with the pandemic going on, but haircut was great. Will be going back, hopefully to get the Mvp next time.

I showed up and gave my name and number. The girl asked me to wait in the car because of the social distancing restrictions and theyll text me when its my turn. No big deal, I fully understand. I sat in my car for half an hour and no text. 6:30 rolls around and thats their closing time. I noticed a guy in a truck that showed up after me got his turn. I took off and went somewhere else. For the rest of the night I got nothing from them. They would have just left me out there. Not even a Im sorry sir, were closed now. Nothing. Piss poor service. Never going back.

Got turned down 30 minutes before they closed because they were busy. I walked in, they asked if I had checked in online, and when I said I hadnt i was asked to leave. I will never go to this store again

Good haircuts a bit expensive but worth it for most part

4 stars means that the vast majority of the time the staff is friendly, I get the quality haircut I pay for, and I am happy with the experience. I omit a star because depending on who you get if you walk in can vary in quality a bit. Also note, Im a man with a relatively easy hairstyle preference. Cant comment if you have very specialized style.

First time I went here the guy who cuts hair did an amazing job. Come back and he was just getting off. So I decided to let the first available cut my hair. HUGE MISTAKE! She messed my hair up BAD! so bad Im haveing to go to an actual barber to fix it. If the guy isnt there. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

Really, really fast with getting customers through ! They are loaded with sports games or channels on the TVs, and very skilledOnly two critiques:1) Barbers tend to introduce themselves to you and then dont want to talk at all after that. Yes, they have a job to do, I get it. But I tried talking to one barber last time and she was just answering just to answer, with a flat toned voice2) If you need a simple haircut, its a bit pricey, but that probably happens because of the atmosphere and the cost of maintaining the barber shop

Michelle is the bomb. She does exactly what you want and makes you look awesome. I havent had much experience with the other stylists because I the first time I went in I got Michelle by luck of the draw (thank God) but last I was in another girl did my hair and she also did a very good job. I have been to 4 other places in San Antonio and no one seems to be able to navigate the moles and numerous cow-licks on my head as well as Michelle can. I am Extremely satisfied and excited to go in today to get a hair cut.

Lately the hairstylists have been better and better. I like the location so thats why I mainly go. Everyone inside is accommodating and enjoys engaging customers.

The first time we came here it was AMAZING. That was 2 weeks ago and we had Claudia. She was super sweet, very personable, and gave my son the BEST haircut he has ever had (his own words). Fast forward 2 weeks to today and we came in again and saw Celeste. I asked for a 1/2 or skin on the side and blended to the top with only scissors on the top. That’s the same hair cut he has been getting for 5 years or haircuts... I let him sit in the chair on his own because he does well with haircuts and when he was done, he walked around the corner with 3 different lengths and a spot missing out of the back... When I said something about the huge unfaded line in his hair, the stylist was nonchalant and just said “oh, there is”. Another stylist offered to fix it which was very nice of her but I learned my lesson and will just wait for Claudia to come in. Maybe she was in a hurry or just having a bad day but if I’m paying for a service, I expect to get what I asked for. I’ve never been so disappointed in Sport Clips and this is the first time I’ve had someone who just seemed grumpy while giving a 6 year old a hair cut. I probably should have known it was going to be a rough trip when she sat him on the booster in the chair and hadn’t even fully wiped the hair from the last customer out of it.

Please keep the helicopter moms in the waiting area.If I’m paying $25 plus tip for a themed environment that’s what I want. I was going to watch the game, do the hot towel / mvp add on. But I wanted out.Let Little Jimmy get his haircut and get out.Not only is it rude by also very annoying to hear someone speak over the tv just to talk about nothing.The haircut and hairdresser were great. Not sure how I feel about going back.

Whoever was my hairstylist worked with me to create a new hairdo for me. I went from long hair to a short style and I love it. She cut it around my cow licks to allow it to flow and grow into an acceptable haircut as it grows. Will be back

Love the haircut. Rose was very patient and nice guiding me through the process. She hinted me what she thought would look better on me and I accepted her advised. It turned out fantastic! I would go there and ask for her service again.

First time, went from long hair to short, worst hair cut ive ever had. Second time, asked for a trim, somehow made my entire hair cut uneven and the hair line some how was somehow cut wavy?? Will never return, and I advise you not to visit if you value your hair.

Gets the job done for the most part and moderately priced for what you get. Make sure to find a stylist you like and stick with them. The times I get any person, I end up with someone who just got their cosmetic license.

I take my boys to Michelle and she always does a great job. We found Michelle because both of my boys had botched haircuts (at the same place) by inexperienced stylists. Michelle fixed their hair and she gained loyal customers out of us.Stay away from Elsa. Shes the older lady who works there.

Ive been here 3 or 4 times before, never had a problem. Until today. I got a really bad burning sensation after I left today and I literally have redmarks all over the back of my neck and under my beard. Parts of my scalp. After doing some research most online sources say it is caused by older non sterilized equipment! Never come back there again. Ill post pictures if I can.She didnt even square up the back of my neck nor verified with me if I liked how she cut the back.My neck 5 or 6 hours later is still burning.Never had this problem before but this goes to show the pure laziness and uncared for practices of that establishment! Unbelievable!!!Ps besides retracting the cost to shave my now muffled up beard, I still was forced to pay full price for a very half @$$ed service.

Received a normal hair cut, but the lady charged for the most expensive package. She was nice and I like the hair cut, but still keep an eye on the price. I am not sure if it was intintional or not. I asked about it, and she told me it was the normal priced hair cut.

Maria cut my 3.5yo sons hair and she not only was patient but fun and did a great job on his fine hair! Afterwards he gave her a hug!

Ive been here several times and each visit I got a different botched haircut. My hair style is very simple, yet I still managed to get my hair faded to the TOP of my head! Im speechless. Never going back.

I asked to trim my beard and clean up the bottom of it. Without asking, she shaved the TOP of my beard way lower than natural, and she only did it on one side until I asked her to fix it on the other side at least to make it even. Couldnt even do that. Why mess with the top of my beard without being asked? Why shave it that low so I look like a moron? And if you are going to ruin it, why not attempt to make it even?Do NOT go here

Place is miserably slow. Ive been here a few times and with 2 or 3 people ahead of me and three stylists its easily an hour wait.

Checked in and walked in on time then waited for 30 minutes for Michelle. Then after another stylist informs me that Michell is going to be another 45 minutes late in addition to the 30 minutes I have already waited. I was not assented unitll an hour later even when I checked in prior to arriving.

Explained exactly what I wanted and she did the opposite. I didnt make a big deal but two weeks later I asked them to please fix it for free because it looked terrible and they refused. Extremely disappointed. They lost me as a customer and advocate.
