The renovations are great. But the price for an event here is crazy expensive. Ballroom alone with no decorations 5k. When so many other venues offer great packages totaling 6k including decor, food etc. disappointed that we were not able to get out of our contract and get money back to have event somewhere else way cheaper and better. But you win some and you lose some I guess. So think twice before signing any contract with this venue, there’s so many places just as nice for more then half the price they charge

DONT PLAY BINGO HERE THEYRE A RIP OFF!!! The worst experience! The lady calling out the numbers was going too fast for my family and I and when I told her that i paid money for nothing because she was going so fast that i couldnt keep up she said, I dont wait on people who use paper you can ask everyone here who knows me i dont wait. I was floored! I spend over $100 here! Never again!!! I will have defenders go in there disguised so they can see what paying customers go through!

They DO NOT out $5,000 like they claim. They pay out half the money on some games because people pay half the money. So some games pay only $250 instead of $500. RIP OFF. Everyone should be paying the same price. The runners only go to the same people too. This is the last time I come here.

Great size. Was really clean and they had a great assortment of product at the bar/concession area. They even had an atm in the building. Would definitely consider using in future for an event.

Great place to play bingo. Convenient location, payouts are good. Only negative is that they no longer stay on schedule. Sessions dont end when they are supposed to so they start late to make up the time. Customer schedules are often tight and we should be able to rely on the advertised schedules. But if youre flexible its 👌

I think they should put capacity on places with large groups. There was way to many people at a debut on Saturday.

The bingos go entirely to fast. You dont get to enjoy playing. I must say the staff is very polite and kind to the customers.

Edith is one of THE WORST bingo callers I’ve ever encountered in any bingo hall and I’ve been to several. She always seems lost she makes mistakes on almost every single game every time I’ve gone to play. She will call the wrong numbers a lot! She starts laughing to herself just out of no where! She must be high! She hasn’t gotten better as a caller but WORSE! She obviously doesn’t realize how bad she looks up there but it’s always cringeworthy! She is also rude to certain customers. I’ve seen her yell across the hall at a customer in a very rude demeaning way in front of all the people at halftime. I’ve seen her talk very rude to other customers as well. I’m not sure why she thinks her behavior is okay and why she has the right to act that way.

The staff was great!!!! The mangers were very helpful. They explain everything when I went in For the first time.

The Caller is rude. Heard her taking about how people only tip her $5 and that we are cheap. She’s lucky I didn’t want to make a scene. She should be glad we tip her anything. She is the skinny girl with long hair.

I wanted to buy pull tabs so i got the lady who was selling attention but when a REGULAR called her on way to me she stopped there 1st which i was not happy about. I will be looking for other venues where i feel like everyone is treated the same

The runners are very nice and helpful.

Place is nice and big space, however horrible place to rent for parties. They take advantage of the fact that you cant take your own sodas and eaters and price the can soda at 2.50 at their snack stand and the generic bottled water at 1.75. The security guards are rude as heck constantly coming into the party and telling kids to settle down, mind you the kids were not being destructive or out of control just normal kids play..thank God my kids were not present I would have had a fit. You cant have any helium balloons because the snack lady will call the guard and the guard will warn you about them hitting the ceiling, mind you these are low ceilings the can easily be reached if they do go to the ceiling. So just an uncomfortable place to enjoy when they dont allow you.

Nice place but very expensive. Basically a rip off. A can of soda $2.50. Everywhere else Ive be too its $1 to $1.50 for a can of soda. They charge .50 for a very small cup of ice. Everything else was way over priced. A cucumber for $3.50 lol thats absolutely ridiculous.They did not keep up with the restrooms. Again, most places Ive gone too, their staff takes care of them. There were stalls always out of toilet paper. They only have a hand dryer so its not like they have to tend to anything else. Also, youre not allowed to bring anything in even if they dont sell it (except liquor). I tried to bring juice in for my kids (they dont sell the kind I had) and was told by security I wasnt allowed too. I would never host a party here, I wouldnt want my friends and family to be ripped off like this.

Callaghan is not a good place to play bingo. Be advised. The management is not concerned about their reputation. They have been rude and cover for one of their runners who cheated. Instead of the worker owning up to her mistake, they banned me from all their halls. I would not recommend anyone spending their money with them. There are many fine bingo parlors in San Antonio. Blanco is my favorite, followed by Marbach bingo and then the Circus bingo halls. Dont fraternize Golden bingos.

I wasnt pleased because I it was my birthday and I didnt win. I had a chicken salad sandwich which was tasty so I was pleased with that.
