I have been with State Farms as of 17 years old when my dad had my 3 brothers and then added the girls as additional drivers. From day 1 we have had excellent comunication and have talk to us how to save money how to become better drivers advice on safe cars to keep the insurance at a lower cost. I spread my wings on my own but i had already excellent record on driving. When my daughter became a driver witch she was in no rush but need it her to get under my policy and get years of excellent driving . Once again my agent sat her down and was good not only to hear from the side of a parent but the company too. She understood that the 2 vehicle she truly wanted were more expensive to buy but the insurance was 2x more expensive. She dicided not to get a vehicle as she was still in college so she really didnt need it.When we moved to San Antonio I looked for a State farm agent not only that I will get my policy with but to click with him and the staff and have the same comunication that I have in New York. My daughter was ready for her vehicle and we say down and Scott was so kind and advice my daughter and gave her points how to keep her insurance low . Becoming a great driver she felt comfy speaking with him and is like having an additional family member . She asked what vehicles were lower on covreage she was not so happy but was only that she was set on the one she love. I let her go test drive and get pricess on the vehicles she wanted new and used, She was amazed how expensive was going to be all around and will be working for insurance and vehicle. I ask her to see others and she did a Nissan Rouge and a subaru Forster . Conpare price and insurance . I was looking for a safer vehicle . she ended up with the subaru not only she fell inlove with it the drive and insurance was very good and she has become an excellent driver . Our family is very happy with the service we receive with Scott and Linda Rose and the other members. thank you all and hope that you and your families are staying safe on times we all going thru. Im 52 now and I wouldnt change my insurance company and all the services we have with them. Thank you State Farm and hope that there more people like the Staff in San Antonio.

I’ve been with State Farm for several years and by far this is the best insurance company. Super friendly and outstanding costumer service, honestly nothing to complain about.

For the elderly!!!!My mother signed with State Farm after having issues with another insurance company. At the time her contact was under written by State Farm, she disclosed the number of claims she made with the prior insurance company.She received a letter, from her Agent, that indicated her coverage is now be canceled, due to the claims she filed (2 - Hail and Water) with the other insurance company. I called this morning to confirm.Mind you. No claims were ever filed with State Farm and they have elected to cancel her coverage! Shes made each and every payment for the coverage on or before the due date(s).Shame on you Scott Haslam (State Farm). So as long as your clients make their payments and never use their policies, theyre good to go! And in my mothers defense, she never placed a claim with you, but did indeed make her payments, on time!

I was a SF customer since my 3rd car and first home in 1978. My awesome Katy agent, Tom Zellers, retired in 2012 where my policy defaulted to Scott, as I now lived in SA. I was unceremoniously dumped from auto in 2013, but learned they were more than happy to keep me paying for home coverage. Scott said the decision to boot me was not in his control i.e. I didnt do it, mgmt. did! I moved all my insurance needs to Tarla Balpodra of Allstate soon thereafter, and have been delighted with their service ever since. Now the real kicker: At least yearly Scotts office reaches out to us to service our needs without so much as having a clue that they ever threw me out in the first place. This occurred just this week, upsetting my wife.This post is not about Mr. Haslam, I believe he is a fine man. It my not even be about State Farm. It might be the search for the next almighty dollar...maybe? At any rate, their office pratices to date do not remotely match their motto of Like a good neighbor.

You never need Scott he has everything under control from his end. His office contacts you when there are updates, at the end of the year and on your birthday. But when you do need him, he is there to help and takes care of everything he can.
