This place never actually cleans your vehicle. If you want to pay $20 to get your car “washed” just to get home and have to essentially wash it again, then this is the place for you.

Ive been using these guys before they switched to Zips. There pricing is good. Service has been hit or miss. The store on Knickerbocker seems to do a better job than others. 90% of the time the people who dry off the vehicle do a really bad job. Today 08/19/21 when they dried my truck they left soap on both my side mirrors. Making marks down both my doors. I normally just clean it off my selfHands down there monthly Subscription service is the best value in town.

Nina, was very helpful she knows her job very well. She is very very good as a saleswoman she talked me in to buying the all pass. Hope She will last for a long time here she is very good for the business.

Sad to say I paid for the $20 wash and wasn’t pleased with it. I guess I miss understood what all it consisted of. I was thinking when the list stated a free vacuum it would be done by the staff because of the $20 price wash but it just means the vacuum are free for you too use. My issue is that that’s already free so why include it on the list?

Jon did a great job on the car in front of me. It was super muddy and it was dried on. Jon took his time to make sure he got as much off as he could before the car went through the wash. I always have a good experience at this location.

I dont post reviews. In all honesty Im too lazy. But I had to for this one. Car wash itself did a terrible job on my truck, which wasnt particularly dirty to begin with. No one was available to hand dry. When I asked if anyone there could jump in I was told they didnt have anyone drying today. When I explained that it wouldve been nice to know that the attendant literally turned his back on me and walked off. No break was given on pricing because of this. Customer is just S.O.L. Used to be part of the unlimited washes package before this was Zips. Will not be going back.

My car was GROSS. Bug guts everywhere I mean almost caked on the front grill. They got it almost spotless. I only had to touch up 2 spots. Amazing job.

I visited 3-26-19 at 1:45 PM and it was very busy. I paid for the $10 wash and everything was clean except for some dried bugs on the windshield and front side windows where my 12 passenger van side mirrors were folded in for protection. I would have liked a longer wipe down at the end but they were busy and waved me out for the next person. I like the free vacuums and will probably come here again.

Paid for the $18 grand champion package, very disappointed. Wheels look like they werent even touched, dirt still on every side of the vehicle, mostly on the back and on the lower portion of vehicle.

We switched to Zips from another local car wash, and Nina was most helpful in purchasing our membership/monthly packages.

Zips professional attitude towards customers basically suxs!! I complained about the service and a worker used profanity and told me I was lying and since it had been an hour he would NOT re-wash my car! I paid for services that were not performed and have yet to have a return call from manager or corporate!! What happened to smiling faces and courteous employees!I do not recommend Zips!

I detail my vehicle after i washed it here... i use microfiber cloth with a canrnauba wax and SiO2 polymer to shine it up... found long scratches just in the clear coat on hood and roof of my vehicle ... needless to say will have to get those scratches buffed out..

This store(knickerbocker Rd in San Angelo) is always very friendly and consistently a great job!!! Nina is fantastic and is always a friendly and happy person.

Don’t use their autopay option. They will not stop charging you if you try and cancel. Multiple calls and even signing forms and we are still being charged

20MAR20 ...UPDATE ...ZIPS has finally resolved my issue and refunded me at the pro-rated amount. Thank you to ZIPS for fixing this issue finally.14FEB20 ...UPDATE... to give them credit, ZIPS has reached out to me and they claim they have found the problem and I will be refunded my money during the next billing cycle. I will update again when the situation is fully resolved.I went in person to cancel my subscription on 19DEC19. However I continue to be charged $25.00 a month for the last two months. I no longer live in San Angelo but they have no contact information for this location. Unbelievable. I have E-Mailed ZIPS corporate from their own website twice. I even went to a location in the city I now live and even there they couldnt do anything about it. Unbelievable. Also when they switched to ZIPS from Champion you can tell they sped up their machines while going through the wash and it doesnt do nearly as good of a job. If you are a representative of ZIPS please get in contact with me to resolve this Issue. I would really like to not have to close out my credit card and reset all of my accounts in my life just because you guys have no way to contact you about a mistake you made. I will rescind this review if you guys actually resolve my issue. whats fair is fair.

Love the free vacuum service

The manager of this place is super unprofessional, he’s rude and could careless if there’s any issues or if you’re not satisfied with something. He’s the reason for such a bad rating!

I came up on 1/17/2021 to get a wash the manager on duty never showed an they did they where hiding in the back building. Not happy at all with the service.

Friendly staff, great monthly prices, and free vacuums that usually work surprisingly well.Edit: Lately they are closed a lot and I find it hard to catch the oppertunity to even get my car washed.

Twice in a row now my car was not cleaned all the way. Go to zips if you want a half washed car.

They are quick and they do a pretty good job at cleaning your truck.

Went back man came out, never spoke looked at it, went in got free & put it in wash. Hmmm not free I just paid for a wash? Never spoke. Wont be going back. But great drying crew. Usually have to wait 45mins to get a car wash and almost always have broken equipment. Havent been able to clean my carpets for weeks because their machine is never working!

I travel between Oklahoma and Texas and this would be my 2nd time here from out of state. I got to admit, I’ve continued to be impressed with the great customer service, how clean the area was, and how your treated. The people here make it feel like family. I definitely recommend them. I look forward to traveling and returning here again.

Um .... Did this place change hands? The employees are all different in street clothes no uniforms. The charges appeared differently on my card .. the carwash was fast. ...Like on super rush fast... Didnt get the bugs off the front of the truck. Half dried with oily rags that left smears all over my windows.

I like Champion car wash. They do a nice job of washing your car (Exterior only) and the prices are okay. But you have to do the interior vacuuming ( free ) and other stuff. BUT I prefer a full service place such as Shine Brite just up the street abit. I know that Champion does have a big following since pretty much every time I drive by there, they are usually pretty busy. So I give them 3 stars for not being a Full Service place. Otherwise they are worth visiting, the staff does a nice job and tries to be quick and efficient in thier work. Prices vary a little, depending on what your having done. But its reasonable.

My truck stays clean longer when washed here. Strange but true. Maybe the ion charge of the water? Just doesnt attract dust as quickly.

Got their full works and there equipment actually got my truck cleaned! I love that theyHave free vacuums which are set up for use even if you dont get your vehicle washed.

Lots of water streaks, I think re-using the same towels to wipe windows and then the body of the vehicle makes the glass really streaky. Also, closing times are mearly suggested. Not uncommon to see the lanes blocked 10 mins or more before closing. At least on Knickerbocker location.Update: Cant seem to open on time either. Saturday 02/01/20 at 9:17 a.m. I guess the employees saw their shadow and stayed inside?

It was a busy day and I wasnt too happy with the service. I paid for the monthly wash and when I came back for another wash that same month oh, good thing I kept my receipt or else they wouldnt have let me in. Had to go through two times just to get the the correct car wash. Then they dried my car with dirty rags.. arrrggh. They should have upgraded my car wash for that day anyway just for the hassle I went through. I was late for an appointment out of town because of this issue and even told the manager about it when he was trying to fix the issue. Its an ongoing problem with monthly pay. Washes are normally really good.
