Recently visited The Vintage Barber. My boyfriend who is very picky when it comes to his hair loved his haircut! Not only did he love his haircut but we loved the atmosphere and easy flowing conversation. Teresa gave him exactly the cut he wanted! Will be returning for sure.

Called a couple weeks ago, was told they had no appointments/availability left for the day, lady took my number, said she would call me back to schedule a time to come in the next day. ever received a call. Have called twice since then, only get the voicemail. Does anyone know if this place is still open? Do they take walkins?

Unfortunately, after scheduling an appointment with them over the phone, I showed up at the barber shop to find an empty building and locked door. With no notice, they apparently cancelled or neglected my appointment. I called multiple times, left a voicemail, and messaged them through Google, but days later they have yet to respond with any sort of acknowledgement or explanation. Normally, I wouldnt even post a review, but theyve completely ghosted me and would just like to know why they skipped my appointment. I was really looking forward to finding a professional, skilled barber here in San Angelo and with all the good reviews for The Vintage Barber, I thought this might be my go to. However, if they cannot even be in the barber shop during business hours when they have appointments, I cannot trust that they will be prepared in the future when I need a haircut.

I know what youre thinking. You approach this location - where is it? Its in the back side of the building calm down. Just park and walk up. One of the best hair cuts and shaves I have ever experienced. Im not a diva when it comes to these things but I left a great tip. The small talk was hilarious, the manager and the guy holding the straight razor were super friendly. My hair looked professional AF and its exactly what youd expect. Dont worry, old school awesome cuts - they still take credit cards!

Teresa the owner was awesome! Relaxed and clean environment! She did an excellent job! I pay the exact same amount at SportsClips and get half the service, so she was definitely an improvement. She was very meticulous, took her time and made sure I came out looking amazing. She even used a straight razor on my beard to make sure everything is precise and gives it that old school barber feel. Excellent work, will definitely be coming back!

I have been searching for a genuine barber for quite some time, I finally found one! The Vintage Barber is now my go-to shop. Today I got my first haircut at this establishment, and am totally pleased with the result. Theresa did a real scissors cut, finishing with hot lather razor trim on the neck and sides, such a professional.If one is needing a great haircut, please stop by this shop.

I learned that I should never let anyone near me with a straight razor during my visit, but that certainly wasnt Teresas fault. She went out of her way to fit me in during a busy afternoon. Teresa knows her craft and we had a great conversation. Im happy with my haircut and if you have tougher skin than me, Im sure youll enjoy a shave at the Vintage Barber.

No appointment and they fit me in anyways. Pretty laid back and relaxed shop. Conversation was good and the haircut was even better. I will definitely be back again.

I just got my hair cut and an actual straight razor shave. They took their time, made casual conversation, and was just a lot of fun talking to the other customers while I waited. I highly recommend them! I will be going back for sure.
