1st time here getting a haircut at sports clips in San Angelo Texas, I got here 10 till 11 on a Sunday and there was a line but I was taken care of quickly, Christi cut my hair and did an amazing job. My hair can be a little difficult to cut being that I have a lot of cowlicks, but I will definitely be back and ask for Christi. P.S. the wearing of masks and social distancing was great Thanks 👍🏻

I paid $75 for three boy haircuts, a simple fade…. They came out chopped up and very uneven. And don’t bother checking in online, it has never worked for us…The initial wait online was 54 minutes, when we arrived we were not on the board and it turned into an almost 3 hour wait by the time we finally sat down for the cuts.

They did a great job my barber was quick and efficient. as well as polite. Thanks for a great haircut.

Ive had several good experiences here. Only one relatively bad one but its been 3 years since that occurred. Today was exceptional!!! If everyone was as wonderful as the stylist I had today, this would be 5 stars without question. You simply have to go until you find the one that works for you. Three years in and I finally found a reason to specify a stylist on my next visit. Great job Br****!!!!!

Ashlynn G performs a very professional MVP service at San Angelo. The online app assures me that my preferred stylist will be available before I start a 200-mile travel across West Texas.

To be honest they do their best to make sure you like what you get. Everyone knows feeling relaxed during a haircut is the best and they make sure you are.

Not so good the girl who cut my sons hair did an awful job. I had to take him to different place to get his hair fixed.

Ashlynn is a very professional stylist. MVP services are top notch and definitely relaxing. Space is very clean and safe. Team puts extensive effort into social distancing and welcoming environment inside and outside the store. Online check-in app is crucial to effective process. I drive 150 miles for styling here, so it’s great to know that that Ashlynn is on staff that day and with listed time frames I can relax and have a comfortable drive. Definitely recommend Sport Clips in San Angelo!

I researched online and the website stated their stylists would cut womens hair, just no chemicals. All I needed was a cut. I checked in and sat down. No one said a word to me. My estimated wait time was 17 minutes, as all the stylists were full. As I waited, two men arrived and checked in, and their names showed up behind mine in the queue. Both were greeted with hellos. When my wait time was down to 3 minutes, those names were called and my wait time jumped up to 27 minutes again. I chose to leave at that time.

We was there two of us me and my cousin and theres a worker there named KIM and she said shes been doing this for two years but it didnt seem like, she did a terrible job so I dont suggest anyone to let her cut anybodys hair she need to change the job so bad!!!!

I booked with Kim based upon reviews being listed on google. Another person cut my hair though. I showed the stylist a picture of what i wanted and she took my hair up way higher than what i would have wanted. Also she never introduced herself before hand so pretty much i feel like she sleezed kim out of a cut. I like their process but the talent just wasnt there during this visit.If i could straight up give zero stars i would. From my first experience at this place its a waste of your time and money. Im likely to just take the no guard clippers after this botch job. IF YOU ARENT GOING TO HAVE THE LISTED STYLIST AVAILABLE DONT PUT THEM ON YOUR SITE AS AVAILABLE.

Im with the majority of people on here now. Now I NEVER write reviews if a service was horrible because I just leave a star rating and dont want to call them out publicly but this experience left me with the wanting to write my only bad public review. To begin, I always loved coming here but this new online check in service is utterly horrible. I used it for the first time when I checked in online on my phone. I walked in and saw my name on the list, I sat down and waited. An hour later after several other people got haircuts in front of me, my name disappeared off the list. I got up and asked why my name disappeared and they said, oh well you have to check in again when you get here Being my first time checking in online, I never knew you had to check in twice or else it assumes you never showed up. The thing that irritated me the most was they didnt even bother calling out my name to see if I was there. They offered to put me back in the waiting list and I just left. Im not waiting another hour just because they didnt want to take one second to call out my name to double check if I was there. Horrible experience. I would recommend to anyone that doesnt want to wait even though you checked in online to take your business elsewhere.

It was my husbands first time coming here and it was packed so we thought wed have to wait a long time, asked the lady and was told 15 minutes. Then Shanna came and got my husband. He was expecting it to be horrible because of previous reviews. It was actually pretty great, she was so nice to us and made us feel like we had known her forever. And the lady next to her was very sweet as well. I can see my husband coming back here. I know my sons next cut will be here too. Definitely impressed. Highly recommend Shanna!! Shes amazing!...update 2019 and still love Shanna shes super great!! If your not going to her idk whats stopping you. My mans hair looks bomb!! Will be returning on Valentines day to see her!

Completely butchered my hair. I asked the stylist to thin and layer my hair. If you dont know what layer means, then dont say you can do it. She legit thinned my hair and said it was done... Then someone else had to come over to layer. Ive had my hair cut at many walk in haircut locations, never had a whack job. Now Im going to have to spend $60 for a professional stylist tomorrow to fix this. Absolutely heartbroken, Ive grown my hair for years... Im devastated!

I walked in, 2 people in the waiting room. 25 minutes later, I left. No one bothered to tell me that there were about 8 people in front of me who had checked in online. They do a good job, but not one Im going to wait for 45 minutes to an hour to get. Also, you might want to make sure you go before school lets out. Or was Thursday some special day for kids?

Checked in online, Sat there for 40 minutes, and never got a haircut. There were only 4 other people.

Crystal and Yvonne are both really great! both my husband and son goes to both in case one isnt there. We can always depend on them to do a great job. The whole crew is great!

I routinely hit up Sports Clips where ever I go if I need a haircut. They have always been dependable. Its a shame this location shares the name. I gave it three shots before writing this review just to make sure it wasnt a snap judgement. However, the quality of cut here is so polar that only a few stylist can be trusted. This leads to wildly long wait times for those individuals and a miniscule shot at getting one of them in the first available lineup. If you take your chances on the first available the client selection is inconsistent. They jump around the board at what seems like random. The good stylist take longer breaks between cuts leaving the worse ones to swoop in and claim the next unlucky individual in line. So dont get your hopes up that just because you are next in line you will get the next stylist done, it may be the second or fourth finished that calls you back.

Drop in stars for me today due to new tech sign in implemented caused a longer wait because a glitch didnt actually sign me in. An already long 30 min wait turned into 40 to 50 minute wait for a haircut. Staff got me signed in after a frustrating process for them and myself. Good people but sad that the system hadnt been tested fully.

It was packed for Spring Break,the online check-in didnt work for the 2nd day in a row, but they handle customers great and cut good hair despite being slammed with customers.

I get my hair cut there every other week and I think its the best place in town.

The woman who cut my sons hair was nice. We showed up around 7 after trying to get him in other places and not succeeding, I showed her a picture and she said OK ... when it was over and the product in his hair started wearing out I saw it was nothing like the picture. I dont know what happened but I do know not to go there anymore. Wouldnt recommend.

You might as well flip a coin when you go here because 50% of the time theyll give you a terribly uneven cut that you wont notice until you get home. Never coming here again.

This is the only place in town where we get my sons haircut. Good service and patient with him.

Im from Conroe and here for work so it was my 1st experience a a Spirtclips. Now I wish she could move to north of Houston and Id be a regular customer once a week. A miserable place to get a hair cut!!The stylists are 22 year old girls who have only been cutting hair for about 6 months. They have no skills and no idea how to follow instructions!Sure, they are pretty and offer neck massages and hot towels but thats just window dressing to hide the fact they are incompetent stylists!And being 22, they have no idea of how to carry on a conversation.DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!
