Food was horrible and did not have good flavor, texture, tempature or look visibly appealing. Some were cold and not supposed to be and some where too hot to eat, sweet tea had went bad and when said something the lady at register was rood about it. Even the salad bar was nasty.. the ranch dressing did not tast anything like ranch and the cheese tasted and had a texture of wax!! This was no way worth 17.50 for one meal for just me. This was not even worth 10.00 The only positive was the waitress was amazing friendly and very helpful.

It what you except from any golden corral, they are all similar when it comes to food. The server here are pretty nice. Overall its a meh.

This was a great place to eat like so many times before. The issue is the price’s. On a Sunday at 11 am they charge you for the dinner buffet which is $14.99 on top of your $2.50 drink. The issue was when I went to grab a plate the food line wasn’t full like they were ready for it but wanted to charge the price. Had to settle for the salad bar for a while till food line had been filled 30 min later.

Best place in town. Food is aways great. If you dont get full, that is your fault. Go in between 12 and 4pm, M-F for happy hour. Super friendly staff. It costs my girlfriend and I (seniors) 17.99 to eat there during the week. It costs me that amount or higher for us to eat at Whataburger.

The customer service here was exceptional, the food was good but not great hence the reason there are only 4 stars

Worst choice for Breakfast. The advertised omelet bar was not open. Very limited # of choices for your meal and 1/2 of those were empty. Only 1 type of eggs available, scrambled, which were cold and appeared to have been out for quite awhile. All of the bacon was raw, which I think would be a health concern. The fruit bar was filled, however, not looking too fresh. Majority of all food lines were chained off and closed. Unfortunately, didnt even think about taking pics at the time. Front staff working tables were helpful and friendly.

Been to this Golden Corral a few times before the pandemic which at those times were fairly average. Since then Ive been twice now the place looks remodeled with new carpet and such. The restaurant is kept very clean which is a big plus for me and I really appreciate the the the throw away gloves offered at the beginning of the line. Food was excellent and fresh in all areas with plenty to eat. I would highly recommend giving this place another look.

Good place to go, our server was Matt and he was extremely attentive. Great service!... but compared to the locations iv visited before.. not too much selection, not to mention they no long have CEASAR DRESSING!?!?!.. Good food for the price.

Was meeting my husband for breakfast, as I pulled in my tire blew. Was waiting on my husband, the manager, I believe Daniel was his name, came out and offered to change my tire while we ate. Excellent customer service in my opinion. I havent seen actions like that in a restaurant for a very long time.From the cashier to our server, service was awesome!!! Food was excellent, what a way to keep customers.

Too many selections with a great grilled steak station. Prime Rib on weekends make it even better for dining. All you can eat and the dessert station has cotton candy with a chocolate fountain. Lots of fresh fruit and vegetables to choose from. Worth every dollar.

Probably the worst experience I have had here by far.We arrived and got our drinks and food and sat down. We had no service for the first 15 minutes we were here. The food was awful for me minus the Mac and cheese, which is simple. My table was literally having to get up and get their own refills while other employees watched us do so. I spent $18.00 for my meal and it was a complete waste of money and time.

The variety and convenience is always welcoming. A great place if you have kids and get feisty having to wait for food.

Most of the food was tasty, good menudo, mash tatos great, steak was tender and savory, bread pudding, fried fish good, potato chowder not good.Place was crowded, most cooks didnt wear a mask, one of them serve a piece after he cut it with his hand onto customer plate.Need to keep up with cleanliness.Dessert not very big selection.Prices 13.99 per adult on Sunday. Plus drink.Table was half clean. Crumbs still on it.I would like to come back but cleanliness is a must for me.

Im diabetic and about half of the meat was ok to eat the grilled chicken had BBQ sauce on it but the cook brought out some hamburger patties to my table. The fish is ok but had to pick around the rice. The pot roast not worth mentioning.

Great selection of desserts. After you can ask for a coffee. Service one of the best ones ever. Really looking to make feel like a king. Professional, friendly and courteous. You must stop by.

The steaks were readily available and great. The waiting staff were attentive and respectful.

I was just here and from the view of walking in, the food was just slopped around, everything was watery as if the six year old chef took a piss in it. i also went to go get some stake and some chicken, as i took a bite of the stake it felt like i was eating the bone of the stake, there was no bone, the stake was actually that hard to make it feel like i was eating a bone. and that was just the stake i went to pull the chicken apart and it just about popped, there was no chicken inside and it was like the lampoons Christmas turkey but with chicken. other then that the customer Service was good.

Much needed time with family we decided to come to Golden Corral for lunch. The steak was amazing and cooked Med. Rare just like I asked. Laura our server was prompt to greet us verify our drinks and confirm 4 at our table. Drinks, silverware and a friendly smile were back at our table before we were back with our food. Yes our food was good but this review is mainly about Laura. She has been a server for over 30 years at Golden Corral, and you can tell its because she loves her job and working with people! She is nice and polite, efficient, and on top of it. One of our family members literally drinks like a camel and not one time did her cup get below half empty before Laura was back with a fresh glass of water for her. Our whole experience with Laura was this way. Nothing but smiles (behind her mask) and polite conversation and anything we needed we had. Laura thank you for displaying excellent customer service and making us feel right at home! No doubt when we return we will ask to be seated in your section everytime!

Use to love it. But they took the most favorite thing away .the original ranch dressing and put some other ranch out. Its not good .we quit going there . the ranch was so good they had it made our whole dinner fast so good.

Food still needed some cooking, ex would be burgers where still raw and extremely pink, service was great with our server. But will think of going back for a while.

Golden coral always has excellent buffet I love the meat loaf and veggies.

Wasn’t very great honestly, the food wasn’t that good of a selection. It took almost 45 minutes plus watching other people who came at least 15 minutes after my husband and I get their drinks. Back on the food, it was so basic. The meatloaf was dry, they let the spaghetti noodles stay soaked in water so they were slimy, most of the foods were over or under seasoned. Not too satisfied with this place.

Fair price for two adults eating at an all you can eat buffet restaurant. Food was warm and tastes fresh and flavorful. Sweet Tea was perfect. Waitress were polite and professional. One waitress was very friendly and made small talk for a minute or two. We enjoyed it alot.

3 stars is a bit high for me. They need to clean their grill, better service, our waiter...... nevermind lol 😔

Went for a birthday dinner and we all had such a good time. The meatloaf was perfect! The only thing we missed was not having any ice cream due to covid19. The available desserts were wonderful!

The kids love eating here. Its clean, good service, and cheaper than eating at McDonalds with actual vegetables available.

It was Busy and they maintained very well even the Managers help support the staff in need with cleaning up and seating customers....

Had lunch with my family today at Golden corral, food was pretty good but our server Laura was fantastic. We had a few extra requests and she was sure to meet our requests with a smile and a great attitude. Im so grateful for great service especially during these crazy times that require extra work and patience from our servers. Thank you so much Laura for a great customer experience.

In this pandemic I think this Golden Corral is about as good as it gets when it comes to being safe. The dining areas are so spaced out I actually felt like they were really trying to do for the guests and not the all mighty dollar. The service was good and the food was as good as it has ever been. They didnt sacrifice the taste.

I can honestly say that I have never got a bad breakfast there. its fresh and its hot!!! the staff is always friendly from the wait staff to the ones that prepare the food. My family and I love their food. Their employees are always great and professional. But they need to pay close attention to their restrooms. Theyre always dirty. Clean restrooms is a big must when you have families in your restaurant. This is why sometimes customers dont return.

You know, I never really expect a lot out of Golden Corral. I am old enough to remember when it was an actual steakhouse. Either way, the food was pretty good. It had a brunch vibe going on. The also had no problem immediately seating our party of 10. Id go back if asked the next time Im in San Angelo.

The front of house staff was great and the Kitchen staff kept the food coming! I didnt see a single item go understocked on the line. Food was overall good and the value for the area was very high. A few small details that lowered my review; A section of hot food on the buffet was not up to temp. There was one person who kept walking around on his phone and eating in the dessert prep area behind the counter and distracting the uniformed team member in that area. He was pulling dinner rolls out of his mouth and then handled the equipment with his hands. Just kind of hanging out and not in a uniform so Im sure he was related to someone. The high cleaning and the stainless cleaning could use a little work (again the dessert area was the biggest offender here). My Waiter was very attentive but the cashier didnt greet me, ask me any questions, and overall was not engaging. Diningware was overall clean and presentable. Not a bad place to go but lacked overall wow factor to raise it above other local dining places.

Cook at steak didnt kniw how to cut steaks ask him to give me half of steak gave me half cut from the middle downward making steak hard to eat it was rare still was tough to eat restaurant didnt have as much meats as the one i visit in San antonio tx off summit Rd service was great thumbs up for the lady giving us the teas and such portions in dezert was not enough for just one visit to dezert isle but small as for kids . Not to good of a experience will be giving one more try and then no more to confirm
