Paid $200:extra for the pool and hot tub. Pool was just this side of nasty and freezing and hot tub was broke. No one said a word that the hot tub was broken when they took my money. Very disappointed in my stay. Other parts were nice but this ruined my stay.

The location is centrally located which was wonderful. The rooms and common areas were clean and well kept. The breakfast was plenty adequate for my wife and I. The staff I met were polite and receptive to any needs we had. We will stay here again if back in San Angelo.

His hospitality was nothing Ive experienced before! Once we checked in he called to ask if our room met our expectations which of course it did! The rooms are great, spacious, and super comfy beds! The showers were clean and the towels smelled so good. Im lost for words this hotel was simply amazing. Traveling for hours with no available hotels anywhere and to get a call from Fairfield with a room for myself, fiance and two girls under the ages of 3 we were so grateful. Then on top of that they have restaurants in walking distance that are highly recommended as well. Overall wonderful experience!!!!

This is one of the CLEANEST hotels I have stayed in a long while. My husband wanted to save a few dollars going to an empty hotel but just looking at the exterior I knew i didnt want to stay there. Im not a big spender nor traveler but one thing I do know.... my kids & I will sleep comfortable knowing its clean and we dont have to worry about critters🐛🪲🐞🐊🦎🕷🪳🕸🦗🐝🐜🪰🦟Nice big clean restrooms/showersShampoo/conditioner & bodywash Pump bottles not the tiny travel bottles, plenty of towels. It was a nice stay, was there on the week of 05/04/2021 through 05/07/2021. There are several restaurants at walking distance, also stores like Walt-Mart nearby, front desk staff was very polite, housekeeping not cleaning daily for now probably due to COVID-19 but i think you can request your room be cleaned, it was quiet, I appreciated that they had a full breakfast open - just have to wear mask and gloves when serving your breakfast, the room was nice - nice gym, I would stay there again. see pictures.

Our room was extremely hot despite having the AC running. Our first night was horrible. I asked the front desk to have the AC looked at while we were gone for the day but nothing was changed. We are now on the 2nd night of the stay and once again it is hot. I’m thankful that we are only staying 2 nights because it’s been so bad. We stay at Marriott hotels once if not twice a month and this has by far been one of our most negative stays.

Like sleeping on a concrete slab with rocks as pillows. Bathroom needs attention. No soap, shampoo, cream rinse. Could not block window light. Had to turn AC/heater off due to excessive noise. No milk or fruit for cereal. Bath fan connected to light. How many outlets does one need?

There are many reason I choose to stay here. The free breakfast, WiFi, convenient location, the rooms are your basic rooms but do have microwave/refrigerator which is a plus. The employees however have always greeted me with a smile, every single one has been nice and friendly. I have always have a swift and seamless check in/out. They even call the room after to make sure everything is to my liking which is nice. There is something to be said for that.. Good customer service is hard to come by these days and everyone here seems genuine and it’s refreshing..

It was a great location. The desk staff was very pleasant, even called the room to make sure everything was good. The room was very clean and orderly. I didnt care for the air freshener in the room but after you were in the room for a few minutes you didnt notice it. The breakfast was great and checking out was a breeze. Will definitely stay there next time we are in San Angelo.

Updated clean hotel friendly and helpful staff were always there to fix my key without any issue. Great continental breakfast always promptly on time and hot! Always had hot coffee and cocoa day or night. The only reason they get 3 stars is my room was clean and tidy however it smelled of cigarette smoke so bad and never faded through the duration of my stay. Otherwise great hotel and location.

I was in and out a lot during my stay and the housekeeping staff always paid attention to whether I wanted my room cleaned or not. I was so happy to see a mini fridge and a microwave in my room since I like to keep some snacks and basic foods with me when I travel. Most of all, the staff was super accommodating one Saturday morning--I got back from my run 20 minutes after breakfast had stopped being served, but they quickly brought out the waffle batter and fixings and let me make myself some breakfast even though theyd already put everything away! Little did they know Id just run 18 miles and was ravenous. Their kindness and thoughtfulness was so appreciated. The staff is excellent and the hotel itself is clean and comfortable.

The room I had was fantastic. I was a little unsure, since it was on the highway side, but I never heard the traffic at all. It was comfortable, the bed was AMAZING and the room was well appointed. It had an iron w/ board, hairdryer and even shampoo, conditioner and body wash in dispensers in the shower. The breakfast bar had all kinds of items, from hot food to cereal to fruit and muffins. And the staff..the staff was INCREDIBLE..very friendly, took care of everything I needed and even called the rental place to pick up my Moms O2 so we didnt have to. They greeted me every time I saw them and answered every question I asked. I couldnt have asked for anything more!! Would definitely come back again and again!!!!

Suite was clean, roomy and super comfy, two large TVs, breakfast to go, staff very nice and friendly, the swimming pool needed some deep cleaning, other than that it was very nice.

Employees where outstanding gave 110 percent of service to us . We enjoyed our stay and will come back as we need to.

Night Manager Ms. Rachel was so helpful and courteous. She explained everything before I could think to ask..made me feel right at home. Room was very clean and comfortable. Had a good sleep. Now Im on this breakfast nice setup

I reserved room, it was confirmed that night and next morning. Got there they had no room as I reserved. First room they put me in air did not work, very run down. Second room had no refrigerator, not vacuumed and very run down. Third room had no light in living space not vacuumed around edge of bed. I was so tired after moving room used a can of lysol, but will never receive any more money from me. Thought I was in a motel6 not a Marriott. Shame on Marriott for letting a hotel get this torn and out dated, then renting it out.

Nice room. Beds are as hard as sleeping on the floor. grab and go breakfast consisted of a small muffin, cereal bar, small orange, and a water bottle due to covid there is no hot breakfast.

I am always please and we enjoy staying at fairfeild each time except this past weekend we had an extended stay reserved and I would have like to have known that a party was booked in the conference room that is right next to our room. Our night was disturbed by loud music and banging on the walls. I didn’t like being forced to tolerate the party and I would have liked the option to choose another room before we got settled in for the weekend. Every time we have stayed with fairfeild it has been quite pleasant and everything and everyone are always wonderful to us, this bad experience will not stop me from going back.

Fairfield San Angelo has surpassed my expectations every time I have stayed. It is clean maintained and staff is professional. Most of the staff have been there for years and are committed. Runs like a clock. I am a previous hotel manager .

The hotel was so clean. The room was simple but the cleanliness was immaculate. The bed was nice and firm. Air conditioner did not smell bad like most hotels. I will be staying at this hotel when I travel to San Angelo.

San Angelo Fairfield is a clean friendly hotel. The hotel stays up to date and has been recently updated. The city of San Angelo is one of the friendliest places I have been, and I travel all the time

The staff was incredibly friendly. I didn’t love that the pool is outdoors, but we had perfect weather, so it worked out just fine! The location of the hotel was perfect for visiting students at Angelo State University!

The hotel and room were fine (although the room REALLY needs better lighting), the staff was very friendly and patient with our very large crowd of people which included a lot of teenage girls, as we were in town for a funeral. The only complaint was breakfast. The attendant was very nice and everything was well stocked, but!!! The waffle maker did not cook the waffles, the coffee was clear almost, there is no flavored creamer (i know, minor, but since I was giving suggestions), the cream container was so small she had to keep refilling it a bunch, the oatmeal was super watery. All the other food was very good and fresh. The lobby and breakfast area was large enough to handle are large crowd as well

Everyone at the Fairfield San Angelo is so friendly and willing to help. A few names, however, went above and beyond.I was greeted by Iris. She is a beam of sunshine and welcomed us with a smile and professional efficiency. Once I got to my room -newly renovated, I found a personalized note from the Sales Manager, Patrick, welcoming me and hoping I had a good night’s sleep.My room was cleaned when I didn’t place the very environmentally conscious “Skip the Towels” placard on the outside the door. The person who I met while cleaning my room was Jacob. He was conscientious about his job and kept my room spotless.During the first night there, I was most fortunate to meet Holly. She is the night auditor and always greeted me with a positive attitude. One night I had to go down and get Advil. She was so helpful and kind to me even though I was grumpy and in pain. Thank you Holly for your assistance and kindness.When in San Angelo, you can’t find a nicer, cleaner or better place to stay than the Fairfield.

I stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites for a business trip. The staff was very courteous at check in and attentive to those checking in. The locations was within 3 miles of everywhere I needed to be for work and close to several restaurants and retailers. The breakfast was well maintained with a variety of options. The fitness center needs a little attention, as it was missing some weights and the equipment is fairly dated, but better than some other hotels Ive been to. I intend to stay here again when Im here for business next year.

The breakfast was amazing, the ability to use our own Netflix account was a life-saver, the fitness room and pool was definitely a highlight of our trip. I really cant find fault with Fairfield San Angelo. I can only hope our future stays in other hotels are just as good and our expectations arent set too high after this stay!

I cannot say enough about the Fairfield Inn & Suites. Were here for the drag boat races and couldnt have been more pleased with our room. The room, lobby and entire grounds very clean and well kept. The room was spacious and the bed/pillows very comfortable. Great location!

We stayed recently on 9/10/17 for a family emergency and stayed in room 208. Front desk staff was super friendly (I did forget his name). They were pretty quick to get us checked in. The big plus was the beds were comfortable. They have a good breakfast in the mornings which is always helpful.Well be staying again at this location tomorrow because of our experience.

We stayed one night at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in San Angelo. The rate was reasonable, the location is great, and the service is top notch. This was our third stay at the hotel, and we will most likely stay again if our travels take us to San Angelo. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are set up nicely and are also spacious (we had a king standard room). We were a little early (2:30pm), so we had to wait about 30 minutes for our room to be ready, but we were prepared for that. Depending on when you stay, the rates vary, but that happens in any college town. We often use a discount service to get a better rate than the website. The breakfast is a little better than most free breakfasts and includes hot items like eggs, sausage, oatmeal, and waffles. We have never used the pool or fitness area, but they seemed decent enough. San Angelo has great activities, attractions, and shopping for everyone. The downtown area, including Eggemeyers and Miss Hatties restaurant is a great little stop.

Staff is very welcoming and helpful. The fitness center was something I used Multiple times and really enjoyed. Although it needs a few more pieces of equipment, it does the job for a hotel fitness center. Breakfast is good as it serves multiple options for everyone.

Accommodations are in line with what you would expect from similar hotels. HOWEVER, the staff at this facility goes above and beyond to make sure their guests have the most relaxing and stress-free stay that is possible. This is the best service I have ever had from a hotel staff. For that reason alone, I would recommend this hotel for business or leisure travel.

Our experience with this hotel was very good. The room was clean and the beds so comfortable. The staff was very hepful to us and amazingly friendly. Breakfast was good! Location was perfect since we were there for the Angelo State graduation.

I was charged $250 after the maid smoked pot in my room. They locked my door and made me pay the fee before letting me back in my room. Of course I had to pay it because all of my belongings were in there. Looking back, I should have filed a police report. I travel a lot for work and have always liked the Marriott hotels. After this, I will never be staying at another Marriott.

Nice relaxing stay. Was just annoyed by the staff members who @ 3 different times came knocking @ my room door about my late check out. When the night before I called down to the first deck to request it.

Overall great value and a great staff. They seemed to genuinely care about the customers. They kept the lobby area clean and helped me with my needs. The location was close to the hospital for my surgery, so it was convenient. There were lots of dining options within a close drive.

This stay was exactly how I expect a Marriott hotel to be. I was greeted promptly at check-in and I was made to feel valued based upon my Gold Elite status. I received the free room upgrade without having to ask. Room and amenities were clean and up to date. The free breakfast was not extraordinary, but was just right. Overall, very easy stay. Would definitely stay here again.

We came in at 2am. The staff was very nice. I called ahead of time to see if any rooms were available. The lady Summer was so hospitable to us and rooms werent bad at all. SUPER CLEAN. The only bad thing is the beds were a bit hard. But other than that was really good.

Decided to stay at the Fairfield based on a group rate because of relatives 50th anniversary party was being held in the meeting room. When my family and I arrived we needed to make some last minute changes to our reservation. The front desk staff was VERY gracious and accommodating! They never blinked an eye. The room was nice, clean, and suited our needs perfectly. The rest of the staff was very friendly and polite during our stay as well. Excellent value at a fair price!

WARNING, you wont find out until you select a room to reserve that their cancellation policy is that unless you cancel 2 days prior to your check in date youll be gouged for one night room rate. Avoid hotels having this horrible policy which flies against their supposed friendly, welcoming attitude toward their formerly loyal customers.

This hotel was a work in progress. It is a clean hotel with upgrades being made both inside and outside to make it an incredible value for the money. The staff was extremely courteous from the time I checked in until the moment I checked out! I would definitely stay at this hotel again...and recommend it to family and friends. Well done!!

This is the place you want to stay and there are several nice places to eat near by. Of course the morning breakfast greets all those willing to join the coffee drinking, paper reading and waffle turning guest. My stay was very comfortable and pleasant. The staff was professional and helpful. My room was clean, which made the stay more comfortable. The only downside was during breakfast. It is listed that breakfast will begin at 6:00a.m.; however, the breakfast was not totally set up until after 7:30a.m. There was only one person setting up and preparing all the food. I am not sure if maybe someone called in, but it seemed to be a lot of work for one person. The only reason I noticed is because we had an early meeting to attend and had to wait for certain items to be set out and opened.
