I live in San Angelo and Sears Repair Service came to my rescue, again. Despite our local store being closed for business, these very professional technicians came to my home and fixed my refrigerator. And it wasn’t purchased at Sears and wasn’t under warranty.Years ago they came to fix my front loader washing machine. No problems with it, to this day.Very reasonable repair fees too!
I didnt get anything fixed from Sears Appliances so I dont have an opinion.
This experience has been terrible. First of all when I ourchased this warranty when I bought the microwave. the gentlemen stated that if anything were to happen to the microwave. Sears would fix it and if they could not fix it they would replace it. Unfortunately, the microwave caught on fire and damaged it and it is not repairable. not sure how it happened but it looks like it was from the center of the microwave. A technician did come out and he took pictures of it. He then turned around and said it is not repairable. That because its not repairable there nothing they could do. So I mentioned my warranty. He I dont know take it up with them. He was very unprofessional. So two days later I call the warranty department and asked about my claim. He said that it would not be fixed because it didnt have parts replaced. It wasnt serviced at least two times before. Seriously!! Sound like a warranty department doesnt warranty there warranty! Thats just down right scandalous! I want my money back.
Do not under any circumstances use this service. I scheduled a morning appointment for with an expected time between 8am and 12 noon. It clearly states on the confirmation that if there are any delays I was to be notified. That did not happen and after the technician was more that 3 hours late I used their chat to find out when I would be able to expect him. I was told they would call me right back with the information. That also did not happen and finally about 4:30pm the technician called me and said that it would be at least an hour before he could get here. I asked if the appointment could be rescheduled to tomorrow and he said he didnt know if that would be possible or not. I will not try this again and would suggest that you dont either.
The Sears Technician did a good job of going over the Craftsman rider. He had some good operating tips as to what to look in maintaining and operating it. The one thing Sears maintenance does not do is sharpen blades. You have to get new ones.
If I had the option to give 0 stars I would! I have not had a functioning refrigerator for weeks now. I have called Customer Solutions Line, Overflow department, the rude unprofessional third party provider they contract out to send to your home, and they have all been unsuccessful in providing me with an acceptable time frame to repair my refrigerator after being unable to fix the first time they came out, and are telling me that 3-4 weeks is what it will probably take to get parts in and fix!!! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY GO TO HOME DEPOT next time you purchase any home appliance at least they honor their policies UNLIKE SEARS no wonder they are going out of business!
The technician was very curtious and thorough. He determined the problem could not be corrected and took steps to get the process started to get a replacement refrigerator.The new one was installed a few days later.The protection agreement went well.The refrigerator had only lasted 3. 1/2 years. I hope this new one lasts many more years.I have used Kenmore appliances for over 50 years..
Dont know where to begin. Bought a brand new washing machine, was broken when we hooked it up. Valve was cracked on the inside back panel. Then transferred to 6 different people in corporate. Went into the store and entered our info and was skipped over by 3 other people. Then went to talk to the manager (Ruben) just so he could interrupt me and argue. Worst buy ever. Will NEVER deal with this company again.
It is not repaired it froze all the vegetables milk still freezing everything in the meat drawer it is worse now than when they started trying to repair the refrigerator
The repair was done quickly and efficiently and to our complete satisfaction. The washing machine is now working well. The repair person told us what he was doing and was very friendly as well. It was a very good experience.
Horrible service. Fixed one thing and second issue was no soap coming out of dispenser. Service tech -well just start using it and if thats an issue, put a call in. You have our number. Really???!!!! No soap is coming out of the dispenser. Do YOU think that is and will be an issue?! The service and quality that Sears was known for is unbelievably gone down the toilet. I guess for me, the soap dispenser is an issue and will put another call in. And wait 3 weeks before they can come back out again. Most lazy people!
I thought the repair was done but it is not! I called after a week and told them the ice maker was still not working after two repair visits to replace parts. The lady at the 800 number told me that I needed to check the filter. I had never been told anything about the filter and this was the SECOND time for the repair man to come and work on this same problem. Why in the world would that not have been checked by him before ordering parts and making a second trip. This is ridiculous!
My experience with the technician who came out was a positive,for the simple fact that the technician was articulate, patient, compassionate towards my family and had a very good personality, which we admired.
Never showed up. Sat 6 1/2 hours. Finally called after 6 3/4 hrs....after I went back to work.
Very satisfied with Sears service on our wine cooler. Showed up on time, very professional, explained problem, did repair and cleaned up. I will certainly use Sears again.
Technician was very knowledgeable and friendly, had the correct part in his truck, fixed it quickly. Works fine
Technician diagnosed problem and refrigerator still did not work. He left and unknown to me ordered more parts. He never contacted me to let me know. He never returned phone calls or messages. The parts arrived at my house and I called sears and rescheduled appt. I took 1/2 day off of work to be at home so he could finish the repair. He never showed up to repair Fridge. My appt kept getting bumped back that afternoon. I contacted sears several times and they assured me he was in area. He called me and hung up as soon as I answered. I immediately called his number back and left him voice messages. He never returned calls. I contacted Sears and they advised my appt. had been canceled. He never called me to let me know. He just didnt show up. This is very poor customer relations and absolutely poor service. I would not buy from sears again due to the poor service. The people at the call center just stick to a script and have no real concern for your problem.
The technician came out on time and was able to repair the washing machine in a timely manner and it works great now. The fee is a little higher than I expected, but it was worth it.
The service tech was very professional and did his job quickly and efficiently.
This is the second time within the past 6 months that we have had to contacted Sears for the same issue of our Refrigerator deli draw freezing everything. The repair man said that this should solve the problem. We wait and see. Their success in repairing our oven and our microwave is totally un-satisfactional.
Long story short: The issue was not resolved and I called to reschedule for the technician to come back out. The next available date was a month later. Meanwhile I lose $100 worth of food because I thought my fridge was fixed. Now I have to wait a month + for a tech to come back out when I dont have a working fridge in the meantime.
Did not fix the problem. My hubby had to do it himself later. Total waste of money.
Older Kenmore top load washing machine, Technician quickly identified the problems but I elected not to pursue the repairs due to cost restraints: the repairs would be only a few hundred $s less than a new machine.Thank you to the Tech who was professional in every manner.

Tech did not show up on the day he was scheduled. I called him several times and he did not respond. After calling Sears the tech showed up the next day until 5:30pm. He stated that a part had been ordered from the previous time he came.
Broke within a week. I am done with Sears! There !800 4 MY HOME workers are rude! Will not ever buy another appliance from Sears.
Repair man was on time, all went well on the washer check-up. Very professional.
