Needed a cabinet pane replaced. They had the original ready in days, but noticed the bubbles were going in the wrong direction compared to others. A minor detail I probably wouldnt have noticed until I got home. Instead, they got the new glass pane in just a few more days and saved me a headache. Price wasnt bad either. Highly recommended!

Wow, I cant begin to say how happy I am with the service I received from Sugarhouse glass. Speedy and very affordable estimate, plus amazing installation technicians that put up our new shower glass in no time. It looks great, is super solid with thick glass, and we couldnt be happier.

Great installer but measuring could be better

Can not speak to their service but called for pricing on 27 round 1/4 tempered glass with 1 bevel. $364. Amazon price... $60. Willing to shop local but couldnt do that one.

I had an appointment with Shad to come measure my shower on 11/19 at 12:30. I took this appointment for my lunch hour. He was 25 minutes late. Shad measured the shower, asked several questions, pointed out some of the challenges then reported that hed have a bid to me within a few days. He left a message today 11/22, telling me that the angles of the shower were too challenging for him and that he was passing on the job. I am disappointed in Shads unwillingness to solve a problem here, or even talk about ideas to move forward. This shower is not that complex, it will require two pieces of glass. I plan to write a follow up post here when I find a good solution with another company._-------------Murray glass installed our door today and did a fantastic job. Disappointed that the small biz down the street, Sugar house glass turned us down for a job that was too complicated. Look at pic, not so!

What a find! A great local glass shop. I needed to replace one of the glass panels of firepit wind shield which broke in thre recent windstorm. They cut it while I waited and it was perfect ($7). Thank you.

This is a small glass product and repair shop that does great work. Ive had multiple projects done by them for my home. They dont have a fancy show room, but dont let that deter you from asking about custom glass work. They do it all. Their prices are reasonable. Theyre very kind and easy to do business with. These guys were great from the very beginning! Bob came out to give me an estimate and was right on time, There price was very good and much less than other quotes. Their office called to set up an appointment for installation and that happened just as they promised. There were two techs who did the install, were right on time, and very skilled at what they were doing. I would recommend Sugar House Glass to anyone. I called them because I had used them before, years ago and was definitely not disappointed. Good work, pleasant and skilled employees. Over all I felt very good about the entire experience of replacing a third floor bedroom window that had moisture between the panes due to cracking in the seal.

We recently finished building our home and Sugarhouse did a fantastic job on all of the mirrors in my bathrooms! I would highly recommend using them!

Came in for an order I had placed just a couple days prior, they were friendly and helpful and were willing to cut a sheet of plexiglass on the spot for us. I had Sugarhouse Glass and Mirror cut my existing mirror into 2 pieces. They cut it, sanded the edges and I took it home... where I found that either me or they wrote down the wrong measurements. I took it back and they gladly cut it again and sanded it again with no additional charge. I have them coming out for a shower door measurement soon. Hope they are as good as they were for my mirrors.

Walked in the store and they were able to measure, cut, and provide me with a replacement plexi sheet on the spot and in minutes. Excellent customer service, super friendly people. I have also pre-ordered glass here and they are timely and precise. Prices are way better than Home Depot! I am so happy to support and continue supporting this local shop.

Needed a custom mirror cut to a specific size and I received in a couple of days. Everyone treated me well and the product looks good!

Hard to work with. Never returned calls. Billed credit card and never received the windows. After trying to work with them they said they had thrown the windows away. We never got any type of notice that they were going to do this.We reorder the windows and the would not honor the money we had already paid. Not a ethical company we even asked if they would split the difference and they said No.Do waste your time go some where else!!!!!

I was doing some shopping around for an emergency mirror situation. I called around and Sugarhouse Glass & Mirror was one of the calls I made. They quoted me the lowest, they were able to help me the fastest and were very nice about it.

We contacted Sugar House Glass to install our new shower surround. They sent someone out to measure for the glass, and after they completed the measure they stated it would be about 3 weeks before they could get the glass cut and then installed. We thought this was a pretty long wait, but we accepted their excuse that they were busy. A week goes by and they call us saying they need to re-measure the shower again. We thought this was odd, but went with it. Two more weeks go by and finally, the day comes to install the glass. They were supposed to be at our house at 8am. 9am passes, still no installers or phone calls. We finally call Shad Clausing (who measured and is actually the owner) and ask him where the installers are. He then tells us that they have “lost” our glass. Finally, they call us back at 5pm and say they found it. We start to discuss the next installation time. Shad (again this is the owner), tells us that we can have the installers come in at 6AM the next day or we would have to wait another week. 6am??? We couldn’t believe it. We asked him if he could bump another appointment considering all of the problems and hassles we had gone through. We told him we had little kids, and that this was just a rough time. Shad kept saying it wasn’t his problem and “do you want that time or not”. He was very rude and short with us. Finally we just said yes to the 6am time, and we told him we hoped there wouldn’t be any problems. Shad stated that “99% of the time installations go well”. So the next morning at 6am we crawled out of bed and let in the installers. About an hour into the installation we were told that the metal that was sent with them was the wrong kind, the glass wasn’t tempered (big no no, breaks easily), and one of the glass panes were a full 4 inches shorter than it was supposed to be!!! After all this – almost everything about the materials sent with the installers were WRONG. The installers left and we called Shad again. At this point we were very frustrated and at our breaking point, but this is where it went from frustrating to completely offensive. While on the call with Shad (again, the owner of Sugar House glass) we expressed our frustrations. Shad then told my wife to “go with the flow better” and he attributed my wife’s frustrations to her pregnancy saying that “it must be your pregnancy hormones” causing you to act like this. My wife told him that talking to her like this wasn’t okay, and he just kept laughing saying he was trying to “calm her down”. She hung up and was almost in tears. I found out about this and tried to call him. I left several messages with him, and he never bothered to call back. Again, the owner did all of this. He wouldn’t call us back and tell us when the installers would come back, or anything. Finally I called the main office and they stated that the installers would be coming by the next day. This is after 3 days of calling Shad the owner. After the installation I called Shad again and stated in my voicemail that I wasn’t going to pay the other half of the bill until he called me back. Of course he called me back in 5 minutes! Shad the owner in our call was never apologetic for any of the things he said to my wife, never offered anything to us to smooth things over. Here was his chance to try and smooth things over for a customer, and he did nothing. I called their main office after and paid the rest of the bill – so I could be done with the experience. I normally don’t write things like this on review sites, but I had to do something. Shad Clausing the owner of Sugar House glass was completely offensive to my wife, cared nothing about providing any semblance of good customer service, let alone just being civil - and this is on top of a terrible process where things were done incorrectly from start to finish. Don’t support a sexist owner like this. He cares nothing about you and only the dollar he gets from you.

Extremely professional and their work is flawless

Horrible. Took two months to cut a tiny piece of glass and when they showed up to install they hadnt measured it right. Another two months and they had forgotten about us. We had to call and ask if they were ever going to come install the piece for us. Unprofessional and unintelligent.
