Wow new windows leaking like crazy.Hope Advanced Windows will come fix this problem all my new windows are leaking.Finally got my basement window fixed. But not the original window that we were waiting for, they ordered the wrong glass. Still waiting for them to fix the gaps that cause the water to come inside.Note we’re going on 5 months now since we signed the contract.People are still leaving 5 star reviews cause the windows look good. I admit they do look good but seems the vinyl work is of poor quality, not to mention that they import it all from California. They claimed it’s all made here in Utah. I’m going to keep updating this review.

My wife and I were looking to do some much needed updates to our home and were recommended by a friend to look into Advanced Windows. Once we called to set up an appointment our sales associate came to the house for measurements and to explain the process. Adding the demo of the window material was a nice touch to get a hands on glimpse as to what we were buying.***Our sales associate was on time, professional, and very courteous.That was in Oct 2020. Because of the pandemic causing supply issues we didnt get our windows installed until today, which is totally understandable.The real amazing factor was the installation crew. Jason and Kurt were on time at 0800 ready to go. Both Jason and Kurt were extremely courteous and patient, answering any questions that my wife or I had with the windows and the installation process. Before they began working they also had great foresight to ask that the cars in the driveway be moved so they wouldnt get damaged. They also took the time to go over window maintenance and talked to us before a few windows were installed if there were some hinderances in the way.***Jason and Kurt were friendly, on time, professional, patient, and very courteous.Just the experience with the installation crew alone makes me highly recommend Advanced Windows for all your home or business needs.

I called multiple companies and was impressed by the information Rob was able to tell me over the phone. He was very helpful and eager to help without being pushy. He was helpful in suggesting window ideas and didnt try to update. Im SOOOOO excited for my upcoming install. 😁

The windows leaked, but Advanced did come out a week later and re-caulked the leaky windows. Most of the screens sag, leaving an inch gap at the top. I was told that itll take time for them to form properly, 2 years later and the screens still have an inch gap. The staff dont mask, at least the ones Ive seen. I doubt Id recommend them to a friend. The windows are ok, but thats a product that you could get at other window companies.

I had new windows installed today and I could not be happier with the finished outcome! I live in an old house built in 1892 and the old windows had the original wood exposed underneath the siding, which was not a pretty site. But after installing the new windows, they also frame up the outside so that nothing is exposed and it gives it a more esthetically pleasing look, which is so much nicer! The windows themselves are so cool including a pop out on the lower pane for easy cleaning and super durable flex screens that pop in and out with ease. They are such an upgrade from what I had! Thank you to Janetha for getting me a speedy quote and as fast as possible lead times and thank you to Justin and Kurt for a seamless install. They quoted me 3 hours and were done with a few minutes to spare and left everything better then they found it. Really respectful, friendly guys! I would recommend this company to anyone! Darren was absolutely awesome!!! He has been my contact to put all new windows in two of my homes. He responds with phone calls, texts and in person VERY quickly. He is your man to get your windows going. Trent and Brian were the installers. They were so professional, I didn’t have any problems with any part of their work. They were on time and cleaned up after themselves.

We had an entire house of windows replaced. 24 windows and not small! Our salesman Rob was very helpful with explaining the differences in windows and helping us select the right kind of windows. The staff at Advanced Window Products kept us informed along the way during the production period. When it came to installation, WOW, what a great crew. Justin, Chris and the rest of the crew where fast but very efficient. We would HIGHLY recommend using Advanced Window Products.

Over the past 20 years we have replaced all of our inferior windows with great quality Advanced Windows. We just finished ordering two sets of their sliding glass doors to replace the French doors that we have had. We appreciate their workmanship and their guarantees. Rob was great to work with. We had a few different companies come out and the price was close but Rob came with examples and demonstrations of their window. Also this was the only company that we spoke with that met the criteria for the Dominion Energy Rebate, so in the long run this should save us money. Looking forward to the installation.

Installed all new windows at our home. Windows were great. Service was great. They were clean doing the installation. Definitely would recommend!

I just had a whole lot of windows replaced. I like the windows, the new screens are really slick. The guys who did the work - they worked together well, were amiable, and removed the old and installed the new windows successfully. A few things that could be improved on...1. when a crowbar is used to remove the old window - how about putting something between it and my drywall so my drywall isnt cracked and dented? I now have many things which need to be patched and painted. 2. several things were left that shouldnt have been, that I had to clean up - and my deck should have been vacuumed - old caulk and debris is all over. Unfortunately for me it was windy and now everything is covered in a layer of dust - not something you can control, but it adds to my workload. 3. I just think you should have pride in your work, as a company ( I am not trying to be hard on my installers - I think as a company these are things which should be important to the company), and have a policy of removing the stickers and leaving the windows freshly washed. I have new windows, and Im happy about that, but I am also left overwhelmed with the amount of clean-up and damage left for me to repair.

Ken is amazing. We just placed our window order and are pending install. After getting many quotes from different companies I felt most comfortable working with Ken. I needed an estimate to compare to a competitors bid very quickly. Darren worked with me in the timeframe needed to get me a quote that was a much better value than the competition and he did not know who the competition was or the cost. We worked with Rob and his team to get the windows in our house redone. They were quick, tidy and most importantly were the best deal for what we got. Next time we do windows were definitely calling Rob!

We had advanced windows come out a few weeks ago to install. The person scheduling said that it would be a one day project and that two crews would come to install. Two crews ended up being two guys. A day install ended up being 4 days. Not only were they unprofessional (showing pictures of other peoples houses) (calling and saying they would be around to install in half an hour and that half hour turning into almost 2 hours later) they didn’t seal the window in the basement when they put it in and left for the day, so the basement flooded when the sprinklers came on that night and they acted like they didn’t understand how that could even happen. AND they didn’t do anything to fix any of these issues. They just pretended like nothing ever happened.They left their mess everywhere. In the basement there were chunks of cement. There was grease all throughout the house staining all the carpets. And when they used the restrooms they would come out and it would smell like smoke. (And not fire smoke) would not recommend this company to anyone.

My wife had decided she wanted new windows and set up an appointment with a window company. We sat through the presentation and she was impressed enough she wanted to purchase then. After discussing we decided to do some research. I sat through 2 other presentations (over 2 hours each) and then I was contacted by Advanced Windows who said they could send someone out the next day. Rob Mower arrived the next day, discussed the construction of window, glass, and all the things the others had in about 30 min. He gave me a price and told me to complete my research and contact him if it is something we wanted to move forward with. The next day I met with one other company and the decision was easy. The presentation was straight forward, easy to understand, not an over sale or Up Sale involved and when comparing apple to apples on windows the price was considerably better. I thank Rob for making the choice easy. Hopefully the install is as seamless.

Have these windows in our basement and will have them upstairs also, great quality windows and if anything ever goes wrong they make it right.

We replaced 13 windows and added wraps to a total of 16 so we never have to paint or repair again. We are extremely happy with the process and the windows and our install guy, Justin, was fantastic and made sure all was as expected. Would absolutely hire them again but the windows have a lifetime warranty so I guess I’ll never get to buy from them again unless I move... :)

After getting a crazy high quote from another company, we called Advanced Window. I felt the quote was very fair for what we needed done. I had the opposite experience with this company and Darren.Darren came out to my house and was amazing to work with, he was nice and very knowledgeable about his product. We signed with him after comparing many other companies windows and estimates. While we signed he explained there was a 3 day cancellation policy that allowed me to change my mind. 6 days later Covid hit our lives and I was let go from my job, I called Darren and even after my cancellation time was past he let me out of my contract and was so professional and understanding about the situation that once I got another job a month later I called him and told him I was ready again for my order. I have my new windows in now and was very happy with my install and the product I was given. This company was great to work with and Darren was an amazing salesman.To be honest I question your complaint because if you only thought the paper you signed was only an estimate then how do you explain the down payment you have to pay once you sign with them? Whether it’s was a cash deal or you financed your job, you have to give them the go ahead with your down payment or information to finance. Sounds like you are one of those keyboard warriors who like to just complain.Either way I would refer Darren and Advanced Windows to any of my friends or family!Mr. Green

We were new to the window replacement world, and after having several bids and different quotes my husband reached out to Advanced Window Products. Rob Mower called my husband right back on a Saturday and provided him with instant information. We quickly came home and looked at their website which was very well put together with some great information. Rob came to our home the following Monday and was on time and quick with the entire presentation and was just an all around great guy. We quickly signed up and put a 50% deposit down and cannot wait for the 12 weeks we were quoted for all new 17 windows. Hopefully that installation process will go just as great as what Rob has done and told us up to this point.

I have been looking for some time now for a window replacement company. Our windows are original to the house and its just that time. Jeremy came out to take a look and provide us with the quote. He was amazing! He was not pushy at all, didnt give me a big sales pitch, or any other BS to get our business. He was honest and sincere about what we does. He told us up front that due to the pandemic, it would take a little longer than normal. I really appreciated that he was realistic with us and didnt sugar coat anything. He explained the differences between the types of windows and what everything meant. He went over their pricing specials only after we said we wanted to go ahead because he didnt want us to feel that he was trying to push us or hook us in with it. Awesome! We have had our windows for 10 1/2 years and have never had a problem with them. They keep out drafts and open and close easily. We are using them for installing egress windows now and they still have the same professional business as they did 10 years ago. I highly recommend them.

Just put a deposit down to replace all of the windows and the patio door in our sunroom. Jeremy was great to work with. Windows are just ok. Weather seals leak alot of air. Window tracks and rollers wear out and werent heavy duty enough for window. Had a guy come out last year. Was supposed to get a new roller and window pane, never heard back....

Our windows took longer to arrive due to warehouse shut downs after the wildfires last year, however the office was very prompt in updating us on the status of things and making sure we were informed at all times. Brett and Trent were our installers and they were so awesome! They arrived on time and and did fantastic work. They were polite and friendly.We had some unforseen complications with the sliding door installation and they handled everything very professionally. I highly recommend this company.

We have been shopping around for windows for some time, so we had been through all the sales pitches and had become quite skeptical and calloused to the window industry. A friend of ours had their windows done last year through Advanced Window Products and was very happy with the result, so we decided to give them a call. Because we mentioned who referred us, they sent us the same representative who helped our friends. Honestly, Jeremy was such a breath of fresh air! He was super knowledgeable and helped talk us through our options...even steering us away from more expensive options we thought we wanted, since he knew they were not going to be the best for our situation. He even walked us through how to fill out our rebate forms for after our windows are installed! We are so incredibly grateful for Jeremy and would recommend him to anyone! A family member used Advanced Windows to update all of the windows in their house from single pane to the triple pane windows that qualify for the tax incentive. The family member was so pleased with AWs work that for me the sales rep had the sale and the initial appointment was a formality. Unfortunately, for the sales rep, he lost the sale within 3 minutes of entering my home. He was arrogant, boasted of his management position overseeing the installation crews, and he reacted to my questions as if I was ignorant of window design, installation techniques, and tax inventive options.He chose to spend 30 minutes of the 45 minute appointment detailing his vast knowledge regarding the incompetence of a local competing window company. For the 15 minutes that he actually told me about HIS product, he focused primarily on AWs warranty-- a red flag for their lack of confidence in their own product. I asked the sales rep how many warranty claims AWs received each year. He did not know. I asked him how many of the claims were resolved to the customers satisfaction. He did not know. He was a manager responsible for the work crews, and yet he was unware warranty claims. He knew more about his competitor than he knew about his own crew.Another nail in the coffin for him was regarding the triple pane windows. He told me that it would be more cost effective for me to install the double pane windows because the incentive for the triple pane would cover only a small percentage of the cost. I did the math and no, with the prices that he provided, installing the triple pane with the incentive assistance would have cost me the same about out of my pocket. AND I would have had more efficient windows. I suspect that AWs profit margin on the double pane is greater than the triple pane, and/or his commission is greater.He was dumbfounded when he left without a sale, and I was dumbfounded by his poor self-awareness.

We ordered new windows for the entire home. From start to finish the service we received was excellent. Everyone was very nice and professional. We felt very comfortable with the installers being in our home. It has been about six months now and we love the windows. They have improved the look of our home inside and out. Our home stays cool when it is warm, and warm when it is cool. We highly recommend this company.

Update: July 21, 2021 The comedy of errors continues.I still dont have the windows I put a down payment on, but last week I was contacted about setting up a time for installation (July 16, 2021). Unfortunately, that excitement was short lived. I called them back quickly and left a message to contact me as soon as they could. Crickets...I had time this morning to call them back and the receptionists had to hear from me more than once. The first time I was sent to a voicemail, so I called back. (It didnt work last week, so I wasnt going to try that again.) I called again and was told that the receptionist would leave a message for me to the person scheduling the installations. Great, thats all I want! Hours passed and there was no phone call back.I called again because there seems to be some communication problems. I was told that the receptionist says sorry but that Alorah would page the person I needed to talk to. Perfect! I waited, the person never picked up, so I talked to Alorah again. She took care of me and told me that she will go ahead and look at the schedule and pencil me in. If there are any problems with the installation time she tried, the person in charge of scheduling this week will contact me back. At this point, Im feeling better. Something is happening with the windows. Alorah calls back a while little later and says she needs to pencil me in for a different time on July 30 because one of my windows is so big. Thats fine, I dont care, as long as it is getting done.Less than 2 hours later, the person in charge of scheduling this week calls me back and says to the effect, I see that you were contacted on the 16th. I dont know why (I think she said Amanda) did that. Shes out of town. Im sorry, but we dont actually have all of your windows in. We only have 2 of the 3 in, and thats why I didnt call you back. We cant actually schedule you a time to install. Theres the glass shortage and we have no control over which pieces our supplier completes. Maybe it will happen the first week of August, but we dont know. Unfortunately, we cant schedule you an installation time right now.I cannot tell you how frustrated I am with this company and the levels of incompetence. If you make a mistake, communicate that to your customer immediately. Dont make your customers call you multiple times, leave unanswered messages, and waste their time.This company needs to get its act together and communicate._ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _We got a bid from this company back on March 4. We were told by Ken that the company was about 12-14 weeks out, so we should get on their list quickly. After getting our final bids from two other companies, I ended up calling Ken back, the following week and saying that we wanted to go with Advanced Window Products. It took a little while to arrange for final measurements, the lead test (about a month later), etc... What I didnt know was that when Ken wrote up a new sales contract on April 13 for me to officially sign, thats when they even started putting my order in, not back in March when they had made the preliminary measurements, and I had called and told them I wanted to purchase a window from them. It is May 27, and has been 12 weeks since I initially called this company to put in a window, and according to their offices I still have 6+ more weeks to wait for them to put in my window. (I am really not happy with the lack of communication from this company. Had I known how long it was going to take to get my window fixed, I personally would have chosen a different company.) You have been warned!

This is the second time we have used Advanced and could not be happier with the quality of the windows, the responsiveness of the entire team, and their professionalism. We got several estimates. The cost difference was negligible when you consider all you get from Advanced. We would use them again, but we have already replaced all the windows in our home.

I had talked with 3 other window companies before deciding on Advanced Windows. Advanced had exactly what I was looking for and a price I could afford. All 4 windows they installed I had to be removed and replaced, they were the wrong size and installed incorrectly. Every single one leaked.Even over a year later Im still extremely upset with how things were handled from this company. Every time I see their logo I get sick to my stomach from the extreme stress they caused me. They came out so many times, countless phone calls. They couldnt install them correctly and they still leaked because they were sized wrong.Finally had to fix it from some one who knew what they were doing, the windows Advanced installed months before were ruining my home with the snow melting. The other 3 contractors I called looked at them and confirmed they were wrong sized and Installed incorrectly. We had a written letter from another contractor. These windows were not what I had ordered. I was trying to improve my home. The windows they installed are still in my shed now, complete waste of thousands of dollars, so sad. Every window they installed leaked and created serious problems and mold in my house. I feel taken advantage of as a customer. I did not get what I ordered.EDITED TO RESPOND:I added my photos including the original windows that were in my house prior to Advanced windows installing new ones incorrectly as shown. You can clearly see they were installed incorrectly once removed, they were installed to rusty metal pushed inside by several inches. I did not touch the windows once measured. You can also see by the photos I sent them, the opening were never altered. The windows were installed to the bucks incorrectly once Advanced windows removed them. They windows should have been installed this way in my home ever to rusty metal that was not visible until they removed the old windows.I got the quote, I paid in full with my money and delt with constant problems, all 5 of the Advanced windows employees and countless phone calls. Over 4 windows. My children and I were yelled at in our home by the person in charge. After they said the windows were fine. My husband didnt appreciate the way things were handled and only called in because of that. I was offered new windows only after I told them they were not allowed back in our home from the disrespect and blame we received over windows. I did not feel comfortable and they had so much time and so many opportunities to get this right. We did not get what we paid for. We have photos and written letters from other window contractors that verify our statements.

Darren was very attentive to our needs and was very responsive to any questions we had about getting new windows on our house. Easy to work with and relatable.

We had all 19 windows replaced by Advance and have nothing but good things to say about Darren. We have already referred several others to him and this company

Absolutely horrible. I call and talked to Rob. Sent him a text with my address confirming my appointment. Got a reply that he got the text confirming both... No call no show. Will not do business with someone like that. Moved on to a more professional company that wants my business.

We had all new windows replaced in our home this summer. Everyone from the salesperson Rob, to the installers and the customer service in the office have all been so helpful. We knew in advance that the windows would take about 2 months to make and they were. But once ready did not take long to have them installed in one day. We love our new windows and would highly recommend.

Love the pet door in my sliding glass patio door. Dogs love it and has made letting them in an out so easy! Highly recommend this product and Advanced Window.

Just hired them for the third time to install new windows!

While the window installation seems to be okay, we are still waiting after 4 months for the screen for one of the windows. It has been a Goldilocks scenario--the window came without the accompanying screen so they said they would send one to the house and when it came it was too tall. So they came out and remeasured and sent another one and it was too wide. After repeated phone calls we still havent received the screen! Makes me question the quality of their product and service. Extremely frustrated with the company.The company did reach out to us and we finally have our screen. It appears we got lost in the system, which I am not happy about -- but grateful they finally got it sorted out.

Advanced Window Products was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Darin came out and gave us our estimate. He was respectful of our budget and answered all our questions about the difference in window options, financing, and different rebates available. It took 5 weeks between ordering and the installation. Chris and Trent came and installed our windows. They worked quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure the window looked great! Im very impressed with Advanced and would recommend them any day.

I met with the sales person at my home for a quote to replace my windows. He was personable and chummy. He made me feel comfortable and coaxed me into signing what I thought was a paper securing the quote. A week later after having unexpected medical expenses, I was reviewing finances, crunching numbers and I realized that I was not in a good place financially to purchase new windows at that moment. I called the salesman to convey my financial circumstances and request that I revisit the $10,000 window purchase when I felt confident in my ability to afford payments. (That is a huge investment for one person with one income.) Instead of being met with understanding and working on a solution he threatened to take me to court. The conversation with him over the phone was so upsetting, he was the opposite of the nice guy who came to my home the week prior. Darren raised his voice, yelled at me; I was balling; in absolute tears. I was met with apathy and an unwillingness to work with me in my tight financial situation. I was told that the paper I had been mislead to believe was an estimate was the actual contract to purchase the windows. Shame on me for not asking more questions and shame on me for not reading the fine print of the paper I signed. I was Naïve and did not understand. However a big shame on advance windows for allowing a salesman to treat a customer the way that I was treated. He was beyond disrespectful and berated me. I received a letter in the mail from their lawyer threatening me that I had no choice but to proceed with the sale. (However according to the contract the glass for the windows had not even yet been ordered. They still needed to come do the actual measure. So they should not have been in any irreversible predicament or lost any money on me.) The aggressive nature in which they handled the situation would make me never recommend advanced windows to anyone. By far this was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. On a personal level the financial repercussions were horrendous and difficult. The ungracious nature and cutthroat approach to handling me as customer added insult to injury; it was apalling. Some time has passed since then. The Windows are OK. The installation was sloppy. They left permanent fingerprints and smudges all over the glass from the glue they use to install the windows. There are cracks it the sheet rock of the window frames that they did not repair. Regardless of the quality of the product, I will never forget the way they made me feel, the way I was treated, and I would never ever wish my experience on anyone. The absolute worst treatment I’ve ever had. It was abusive. At the end it’s not so much the financial burden that bothers me as it was way they talked to me, it’s the fact that the salesman yelled at me and made me cry hysterically. That is not OK. I’ve never experienced that before and haven’t experienced that kind of treatment from any business since.TLDR: Terrible customer service experience.The emails attached are an indication that I didn’t fully understand what I was doing or what I had signed. I suggested a solution for the both of us but they declined. When all is said and done I had to get help from my parents and family to pay the $10,000 for the windows.

The sales person was very good. He worked with our budget and we got a good deal. The installer was very nice and professional. He did a good job, but He left a TON of oil stains on our driveway that we cannot get off. The windows look great, but our driveway looks terrible! UPDATE: The company contacted us and told us they will send someone to clean up the driveway. Thats awesome! Ill come update again when its done. UPDATE: They send a person to power wash our driveway. He was really great and did his very best. We were very pleased that they were so willing to send someone over to fix the problem. We still have one more window (our sliding door) that we werent quite able to afford that we need to replace. We will for sure be doing that with Advanced Windows when we are able.

We couldn’t be more pleased with our interaction with the personnel at Advanced Windows. From the salesman (Todd) to the two installers John & Dale. Both installers arrived on time gave us an advance call to let us know they were on the way. The installation was excellent especially the wrap they installed around our front windows.When the job was done everything was cleaned up. They also knew their products and were excellent representatives of their company. They also were very careful to observe social distance with the virus guidelines.Very pleased with all 12 windows.

Craig and his whole team go above and beyond. They are professional, thorough and always on time. Their windows are manufactured here in Utah and they are of the highest quality! I highly recommend this business!

We are finishing replacing our windows using Advanced. They replaced some of them a few years ago. Ken is very professional and we like that we are supporting a Utah company. The windows are also the best we could find as well. Would recommend to anyone.

Updated review:After playing phone tag with Ken, we were able to setup a time for a quote. Product looks great and Ken is a nice salesman. After a little hiccup at the beginning with communication, I was happy to see them work so hard to make an appointment to give a bid. I will more than likely be purchasing windows through them. As mentioned, their product looks great and they look to have many benefits when buying through them. Ken even explained the process of wrapping the original wood exterior so there would be no need to paint and maintain (house is an old ‘50s style with original wood and brick exterior). I did appreciate him taking the time to explain that process.Thanks for the work on reaching out and fitting in a time to swing by to bid out these old, wood windows.Well, I was ready to buy windows and placed an inquiry on their website. Received a call the next business day, even got a text message. I missed the call because I was in meetings for work. I even replied to the text message. I called back the next day and haven’t heard back. I suppose they must have enough business since they clearly don’t want mine

Darrin came out to give me a quote and was AMAZING!!! I was recommended to him from my cousin who had her windows done and spoke very highly of every person who came to her house, but Darrin made the biggest impression and I can see why. Great service, was on time, very professional, and gave it to me straight of what is needed in my house - and at a great price! Thanks Darrin!!!

I priced around and felt Advanced by far had the better price and quality. The price was so good that I did all 14 windows instead of the 10 I had originally planned. The salesman was punctual and friendly he explained things well. The same with the installers. They were on time and worked quickly very nice people. I would strongly recommend them.

Just installed. Sales person was great, installer was personable and professional. Having some trouble getting responses to fixing a window that didnt work. Biggest issue has been the contractors they use for Stucco. Id recommend finding your own and sourcing elsewhere. The coordination between the two is poor, promises made about how the project would flow have not been kept, and the stucco group has not shown up on days that theyve promised. Including not showing up on days they had confirmed earlier that day. Instead of a 1-2 day project that they sell, its going on a week.
